With only one day available in Beijing, Lucy did a great job showing us Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City and the Great Wall. She was very knowledgeable and pleasant and made this day a full success.

We had the most amazing time ! , so many bucket list items to see but what really made the difference was our outstanding tour guide Maggie ! Please ask for Maggie if you book this tour, she was highly knowledgeable, patient, took the most fantastic pictures of us and spoke perfect English. She was highly skilled with gaining access to the forbidden city and took care of all of our needs. It was a tour of a lifetime and had the best time with Maggie.

What an amazing day we had at The Forbidden City and The Great Wall. Lucy our guide has exceptional English and extensive knowledge of the history making it an informative and interesting day. Lucy even did the bartering for me when I wanted to purchase a souvenir. Lunch was great, offering a variety of different food with something for everyone. This was a great day trip to see the highlights of Beijing. I had Jerry as our guide and he was great. He did all the handling of the tickets ahead of time so we were able to just show up and get right to it. He gave lots of history and fun facts along the way. It was a great tour to experience both the Forbidden City and the Great Wall since they are pretty far apart. The Mutianyu section was great as it wasn’t crowded, he gave us plenty of time to walk up and down and take photos. We ended up taking the chairlift up and the toboggan down was tons of fun. I would recommend this tour if you ever only have 1 day in Beijing and want to see it all!

Lucy was a great guide! All of the locations were so beautiful and impressive, we loved the Mutianyu section of the great wall. Lucy went above and beyond for our comfort and to provide us with the best possible experience, she made sure we had vegetarian options for lunch (which was delicious) and because the forecast predicted rain, she was prepared with raincoats and umbrellas for us. I would 100% recommend to do the tour and have her as your guide.

We had a great tour with Lucy! She showed us the Forbidden City and the Great Wall on the Mutianyu section with stops at a jade manufacturing shop and for a delicious local lunch (she even made sure there were vegetarian options ahead of time :)). Overall, we spent a little over 10 hours on the tour (including trip to the wall and back), so definitely worth it for the price. Lucy is very knowledgeable about Beijing, speaks great English, and was super helpful. We could not recommend booking a tour with her enough!!

They told us only one day before that they had no tickets to the Forbiden City. The tour was available to them when we booked. So, they sold us something that they not had. At least they sould told me after I booked to cancel it. So, we saw the gates of the Forbiden City. The guide was very nice and felt bad about this.

I had a great tour with Jerry as my guide! He was very knowledgeable and able to tailor information shared to my interests and provide deep context around the sites we visited - I learned and laughed and deeply enjoyed the day. Jerry was perceptive and shared great resources for me to continue learning after visiting these amazing sites. You could go visit the sites and be blown away, but to have a strong guide and well facilitated tour make this a life highlight experience which I could not recommend more. Book a tour - you won’t regret it and I found it to be great value and higher in quality relative to other tours I have taken across the globe, and most importantly resolutely debunked US media presentations of China as a country and its amazing, kind people. Also, the food we enjoyed (hand made noodles, stir fried vegetables, kung pao chicken) were fantastic and exceeded any expectations I had for the included meal.

Jeffery and his driver were extremely nice and accommodating during our tour. He helped us breeze through all the lines and navigate the busy sites with such ease. He was very informative and knowledgeable about all of our sites. The lunch was also extremely delicious, and he was able to easily accommodate some of our dietary restrictions. We had an unforgettable experience and it helped so much having this friendly team guide us throughout this experience. All you have to do is show up with a good comfortable pair of walking shoes and the rest is taken care for you! Would definitely recommend to anyone to book this!

It was a long day with a LOT of walking, but totally worth it. We saw all the big attractions in Beijing and learned a lot about the history of both the city and all of China.

We had an amazing time with our tour guide Jerry on this full day inclusive tour from the Summer Palace to the Great Wall. We felt no pressure the entire journey and the transportation to and from each site were on time and safe. Views from Mutianyu great wall were incredible and the lifts up and down were reliable and in good condition. Luckily Jerry took us in the early afternoon, avoiding the morning rush, which saved some serious wait time in the queues. Don't forget your passports as all National parks and UNESCO sites require passport for entry. Many thanks for this memorable day!

The tour was great! The views of the forbidden city and the great wall are breathtaking and were for sure a highlight of my trip to china! Maggie was my tour guide and she was not only very kind but well informed. I will totally recommend it to anyone visiting Beijing!

Packed day which included the sites mentioned. Though through no fault of our own. Tianemen Square was closed. Angela kept us well informed and explained the sites as we were passing through, she was also happy to take some of my obscure questions! Lunch was exceptional at a small local restaurant on the way to the Great Wall. All in all, a very easy way to do some major sites in Beijing!

I recently had an incredible day exploring Tiananmen Square, the Palace Museum, and the Great Wall, all made even more memorable by our wonderful guide, Maggie. She was such a great guide, providing all the history and answering all of our many questions. She had many great tips and knew the best spots. Also, she took all the pictures we wanted! Everything was beautiful and amazing. For lunch we had the best Chinese food I’ve had here in China. Would recommend Maggie and this tour very much!

We had the best time with Alice and Mr Sun, Alice is super friendly, attentive, explained everything with detail about the Great Wall and gave us some Chinese cultural background. Lucy was an excellent tour guide full of interesting information. She was attentive to our needs and responsive to our energy level that day (very tired from long day of hiking at different parts of the Great Wall the previous day). We learned so much about Chinese history and culture from her. We understand it has become very difficult for foreigners to visit the Forbidden City so we felt very fortunate that Lucy snagged tickets for us! We had a delicious meal at a local restaurant before the Great Wall part of the trip with Lucy and our driver (who did an excellent job - we felt very safe and the trip was smooth). Lucy was warm and kind, and I recommend her as a tour guide and this itinerary to any travelers to Beijing.
