Needless to say, don’t miss the Serengeti and Gnorongoro. The other national parks are ok, but not in the same league. We also went to see a little coffee village at the base of the Kilimanjaro, highly recommended. Lion King adventures organized everything perfectly for us. The whole trip was spotless, and our guide, Saleh is an outstanding professional and a great person. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing safari experience seeing Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti, and Lake Manyara. Our guide, Goodluck, was absolutely fantastic - very knowledgeable, professional, and welcoming. We learned a lot about the animals and environment and enjoyed both the safaris and accommodations along the way. Although some areas of Manyara and small parts of the crater were impassable due to flooding in the rainy season, we made the most of it and still saw loads in both areas. Goodluck kept us safe and happy despite those minor challenges! We would definitely come again even in rainy season, as everything was lush and green and not at all crowded. We took a 6 day safari for my wife and I, all arranged by lion king. After the first night in Arusha we were picked up by Good Day (Goodie) our guide for the week. Goodie was fantastic! He went above and beyond to give us best experience we could have hoped for. His knowledge of the area, the animals and the plants was superb we could not have asked for any better company for our trip. We traveled to, Tarangire, Serengeti, national parks, Ngorongoro Crater and then Lake Manyara National Park. The hotels selected by Lion king were all perfect, stayed one night in the Gran Melia Hotel, 2 nights at Gibbs farm, 2 nights at Lemala Nanyukie. All the hotel staff could not do enough for us, food was fantastic and all immaculate.

We went on the 6 day Safari with our family (7 of us). Selehi and Emanuel, our tour guides were absolutely fantastic to work with during our tour. We were able to see the Big 5 and so much more. They also debriefed us every night and easily adjusted our schedule to meet our needs. They stopped whenever we spotted an animal so that we could take pics!!!

This was genuinely one of the best experiences we have ever done - to see wildlife in its natural habitiat, is unreal. Lion King Adventures, were especially incredible, specifically, our guide Enock - who went above and beyond to make our safari even more magical - he had a knack for finding the animals and getting us so close to see them (well mostly the animals coming close to us themselves!) Enock also was very knowledgeable on the wildlife and a lot of fun to spend 5 days with. The food and accommodation organised by Lion King was also next level amazing- definitely more luxury than the mid-range level advertised. We would highly recommend this safari tour provider to anyone thinking of visiting Tanzania.

Where to start? After a long research we came across "Lion King Adventures" Safari services and we couldn't have made a better choice. The way they treated us since we made our first inquiry for their Safari services was outstanding, we felt we were given all the options and priority to adjust our dream Safari plan without compromising our needs, this in comparison with many others Safari options we found online where the offer seemed to focus only on how to downgrade our accomodation options to meet our budget instead of trying to meet in the middle. Once we crossed the booking stage and made it to Tanzania we were picked up from the Airport and after from our Hotel by our Safari Guide (Joseph). Here is were our dream Safari became a reality. Joseph turned out to be not only a friendly and great driver, but he also exceeded our expectations every single day with his knowledge, kindness and flexibility to make sure we got to see as many animals as possible (The Big Five) and from the best spots inside the all the parks we visited, all the insights we received from him, made it a huge learning experience. Regarding accomodations, they all had its own magic, but our favorite ones were "Nyota Luxury camp" at the Serengeti and "Kitela Lodge" at Ngorongoro, so you should definitely try them out if luxury options fit your budget. In summary we want to thank again our guide (Joseph) for making this trip an unforgettable experience, and to the whole Lion King Adventures Team for making our dream Safari a reality :)

Our Safari trip with Lion King Adventures was amazing! Our guide (Salehe) was super friendly and a great spotter, so we saw a lot of exciting animals. Salehe was open to any questions about the wildlife. He made sure that his customers got the most of their safari experience but also enjoyed some time to relax. Our experience with Lion King Adventures couldn't have been easier and we felt very lucky to have our guide, Gilbert. Gilbert is very knowledgeable, experienced, and an excellent spotter of wildlife. Because of Gilbert and his spirited drive, we were able to see all of the big 5 and many other wonderful animals. The itinerary itself was packed (but not too busy) and gave us an opportunity to enjoy all of the different excursions in Tanzania without having to worry about the logistics. All of the places we stayed at that were selected by Lion King Adventures were wonderful with great staff themselves. In the lead up to the trip, Godwin, Rose, and Naurey were extremely responsive and made sure all the arrangements were correct in planning the right vacation for us. If we ever go back to Tanzania, we would 100% go back with Lion King Adventures. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Our Lion King trip was amazing and exceeded our expectations. In large part this was thanks to Gilbert, our wonderful guide. Gilbert is extremely knowledgable. We peppered him with questions, and he was able to answer even the most obscure ones. He also frequently volunteered interesting information. and constantly scanned the landscape with his sharp eyes for wildlife and interesting flora. He is fluent in English and easy to understand. We saw everything, including some of the wildlife that requires some luck: cheetahs, leopards, lots of lions (including lions in trees), black rhino, and one of our favorites - a hustling dung beetle! Gilbert was also a great host. Just one example of many: at the main picnic site in Ngorongoro Crater, he parked us a distance away from a crowd of other Land Cruisers. He pulled out a table and chairs from our vehicle, and set up our lunch spread in front of a photogenic tree by the edge of a lake with nearby hippos. It was by far the best spot, and we had it to ourselves for awhile. Let's not forget you want your guide to be a good driver who is also competent with mechanical issues, and Gilbert fits the bill. For example, he rescued another tour whose Land Cruiser was stranded due to damaged battery wire from the bumpy roads. Did the other guide have any spare wires? No. Did Gilbert / Lion King? You bet!

We had the most amazing tour with Immanuel Chamboa - he was very knowledgeable and helped us to see everything we wanted to see! This trip was everything we could have dreamed of and more

Súper fun, bucket list experience - a safari to the Serengeti! Immanuel Chamboa was our guide and very knowledgeable about all the different animals (and major props to keeping all those roads straight because there are a lot)! I would definitely recommend requesting him if you can, we had great chats and laughs the whole 5 days. He was an outstanding guide!! Email was very quick between Lion King & myself. Lodging was standard and comfortable. Can’t go wrong!

We are a couple in our 30s who went on safari for the first time. We selected Lion King Adventures due to the positive reviews, and we were not disappointed! Our guide, Khalifa, was very communicative, professional, and knowledgeable. It's clear that he's very passionate about animals and nature. We felt very secure with him as a driver - he was skilled in driving safely, navigating, and watching out for animals at the same time. Khalifa very kindly shared his binoculars with us, as well as his books. Animal-wise, we got to see the big 9! Plus many, many other animals and special animal kingdom moments. There is no doubt that you will get to see a plethora of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, lions, and more. We also really liked the service we received from the company. Responsive and helpful communication, and very accommodating to our needs. Also, they arrange nice lunches on the safari. Whle other groups had basic sandwiches provided in cardboard lunch boxes, we received "hot food" lunches (e.g., stew and rice) served on a tablecloth with real silverware. This is a special touch arranged by Lion King Adventures that we greatly appreciated! We liked the itinerary they planned as we got to see a variety of landscapes - every day was something different. Our expectations were generally exceeded in terms of accommodations - all of them had very nice settings / views. Our tented camp in the Serengeti was a pleasant surprise as the tents themselves have hot water for showering, toilets, running water, electricity, and wifi. We went during low season so it was much quieter at the lodges. At one camp, we were the only guests! Wifi can be a challenge at some of the hotels, but we expected this. As a side note, we really liked that Lion King Adventures is a local / family-owned safari company. Our guide mentioned that the company really cares for its employees. One example is that the company tried to help the guides during COVID when there was no tourism - this made us feel that Lion King Adventures is a caring company that supports local people. We would definitely recommend Lion King Adventures!

We have just arrived back from our 6-day safari with Lion King and it exceeded all our expectations. All accommodation was fantastic and at the same time comfortable, staying two nights at the tented lodge in Central Serengeti was an unforgettable experience for us. The safari itself greatly depends on the guide and our guide, Khalifa was superb. His knowledge about the animals, their behavior and different parts of the national parks provided a unique experience and I never though we could get this close to lions or elephants and take the time to observe their lives. I highly recommend Lion King for a tailor-made safari and lifetime experience.

We loved our Serengeti experience with Mwita. He was professional, kind, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Nyota Glamping accommodations were to notch! We would definitely go back! We also Ngorangora Crater with Mwita and more family that showed up after their Kilimanjaro Summit. We know now that " Anything can happen in Nature." We went to Tarangire National Park and loved every minute of it.

This was by far the best trip I have been on! Lion king adventures were great from the very start with answering all my queries and making sure I had all the information needed. They put together a fantastic safari package and gave attention to every small detail. They were consistent in responses and always available for questions. We did not worry about a single thing before going or during the trip. Our tour guide Suleiman was so much fun and had so much knowledge about the animals and places we were visiting which was really impressive. He made sure we had the best views and was extremely patient when we were taking 101 photos! He made sure we didn't miss a thing and had such a great time making us feel comfortable. He communicated so well throughout the trip with us and we did not worry about a single thing. Thank you so much for a great experience. From the first contact on we felt well looked after. We were provided with a lot of informations how to prepare for the safari and we were also helped by Kabwe from Lion King Adventures while we had problems to receive the visa for Tanzania. Everything worked well and we were very lucky with our guide Heaven. We can recommend this tour including Tarangire NP, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. If we come back to Tanzania one day we would stay in Serengeti a few days longer, it is definitly worth. The booked accommodations, especially Nyota Luxury Camp in Serengeti and Embalakai Camp near Ngorongoro, were very good with friendly and helpful people. The meals at the lodges were delicious and we were also provided with fresh cooked lunch from these lodges during our safari tour. So, we had a great time in Tanzania! Asante sana!

As an award winning TV composer and producer, I researched several safari companies and chose Lion King Adventures - based on a family member using them prior. Wow! Am I happy I did. It was the trip of a lifetime - and we couldn't have been happier. Lion King Adventures was absolutely top notch in every aspect. They were very involved with the planning and very communicative and detailed in making us feel safe, informed and comfortable. They covered everything including vaccinations, travel options, side-trips, etc - and offered essential advice in preparing for our trip from NY. The pre-planning went very smoothly. When we arrived - we were met at the airport and taken to a top notch hotel where we met our incredible guide - Gilbert. We spent 6 days visiting 5 different parks, including the breathtaking Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater. There's just way too many positives to include in this short review, so I"ll focus on the big things. The experience is just life-changing - not just the animals - but the vistas, the people, the flora, and so much more. I was so pleasantly surprised by how wonderful the accommodations were. Yes - I was a little stressed about having decent hotels and food - but relax - it far exceeded my expectations. The hotels and lodges were just beautiful, well decorated and all the amenities. And the tented camps were safe and absolutely top notch!!!! And surprise - the food was wonderful. Everything was safe to eat and drink. Even the picnic lunches were great - imagine eating lunch in the Serengeti surrounded by zebras, elephants and giraffes - just amazing. The absolute difference in our trip was our guide - Gilbert. If you're smart - and choose Lion King Adventures - absolutely ask for Gilbert. He's kind, personable, patient, really knowledgeable, a fantastic driver - and just a great guy. He goes out of his way to make sure everyone is having a great time. What blew me away was his comprehensive knowledge not just about animals - but birds, plants, the people, history and culture of Tanzania. Very impressive. And his English was flawless. For example, when 20 jeeps were lining up to guess the path of the migrating wildebeests - Gilbert moved into a spot that at first seemed odd and out of the way. But to our amazement - he was right - and all the wildebeests ran right in front of our van. Luck or smarts - doesn't matter - it was astonishing!!! He knew what he was doing. I've had guides in other countries - but Gilbert is easily among the best. If Gilbert's not available - we met other Lion King guides and they all seemed fantastic. We became friendly with another guide named Halifa - and he was also wonderful! We did meet the owner James - who couldn't have been nicer and more concerned that we were having a wonderful time. He built the company from the ground up and is very dedicated to it's success - and that shows. Highlights - certainly the great migration, certainly watching two lines mating, certainly the balloon ride - and so many other wonderful experiences. Negatives - nothing to do with Lion King. The roads in the park are rough - so be prepared for an "African massage". And we should have probably chosen to see less parks as only had 6 days. Each park was so amazing - we needed to stay longer. Yes - there's alot of competition with other safari companies. But i'm very picky, and can assure you - you won't do better than Lion King Adventures. Want proof - my wife and I are planning on going back next spring. They were just that good. Thank you Gilbert, thank you James - and thank you Lion King. Just a life changing experience!!
