Andy is the PERFECT Scottish host!. Very knowledgeable of the country’s history. He’s very punctual , neat, very respectful , funny, very professional ,and kind. My group and I will give him a rating of 10 stars , if applicable. You’ll never go wrong with having a tour of Edinburgh with Andy.

We had a fabulous time touring Edinburgh with our tour guide Andy! He was full of historical knowledge and fun facts to share. He made stops in meaningful locations, giving us a chance to take in the beauty and old-worldliness of the area. He had great humor and gave us a fantastic feel for the full scope of the city, which we later explored in more depth on foot each day! Thank you Andy!

Our tour was an especially rainy day so we were lucky to have a comfortable and dry vehicle to go exploring with - otherwise we would have never been able to see so much in such a short time.

Andy gave us the perfect tour of Edinburgh, covering all of the highlights, but also sharing many of his personal favorite parts of the city along with wonderful anecdotes and other trivia tidbits. We brought along my mother-in-law and father-in-law who are both in their 80s. Andy handled the situation brilliantly, allowing my wife and I a chance to wander from the van at times while he entertained them with stories of life in Edinburgh. Andy is a gifted tour guide who knows how to make four hours fly by!

A brilliant tour with a relaxed and knowledgeable tour guide. We saw hidden gems that we never would have known about without Andy’s tour. A great way to see the city and time well spent!

We hired Andy to give us a good overview of Edinburgh at the beginning of our visit to Scotland so that on our return to the city at the end of our time in the country, we would have a good sense of the particular things we wanted to spend time and money on. It turned out that this was an excellent approach. Andy was super-friendly, considerate of our needs and interests, and mindful of our objectives. We did the 4-hour tour starting at 9:30 am. He took us all over the urban core with a few opportunities to also get out of the vehicle and walk around (particularly in the Old Town near the Castle). In addition to his narration, we got to ask plenty of questions and engage in casual chitchat on topics related to what we were seeing. Plus, he introduced me to The Singleton whisky (yum!) during a stop at the top of Calton Hill. I highly recommend Andy as a great way to be introduced to Edinburgh for newbies like us.

If you go to Edinburgh and do just one thing this is definately it! Andy is an absolute font of knowledge when it comes to his city and will show you Edinburgh from a different angle as well as covering all the key locations. Nothing at all is too much trouble for Andy and all 7 of us had a fantastic insight to this amazing city and our tour proved to be the perfect start of our weekend.

Myself and my 12 and 18 year old had a great morning with Andy. He had so much information to share with us about Edinburgh and offered us options of what we would see along the way.

We spent a wonderful four hours with Andy . He shared with us interesting information about the various points of interest we visited. There was ample time for photos at the different spots. We couldn’t have been more pleased. It is a very worthwhile way to explore the city.

Andy was amazing!!! This tour is reason enough to come back to Edinburgh. He was so kind and knowledgeable; he already had a very detailed tour laid out, but was also able and willing to add in a few extras. He was wonderful helping my mother in and out of the vehicle, which was greatly appreciated as she has some mobility struggles. We had signed up for a private day tour with Andy, but he went beyond what we thought would be just a tour day. We had family members that had to be flown into Edinburgh and Andy made sure that we were able to collect them and return them to our ship. My wife and I continued on the day tour and Andy's knowledge and experience made our tour exciting and delightful: history, where to shop and dine, how to avoid long lines, background stories. His kindness and thoughtfulness can't be adequately expressed, because he truly is an amazing guide!
