This is a must do-tour for any Beatles fan ever!! Our driver Keith was just the absolute best and made the whole tour so much fun. He was so personable and had us cracking up the whole time. He blew our minds taking us to all the iconic Beatles sights that gave us such chills. Everywhere I would’ve wanted to go, and more. I thought I knew everything about the Fab Four, but Keith knew every little story ever that I could never have learned even with the internet. Really gave us the whole Liverpoolian cultural experience too! As the tour was about to end, I asked Keith where the famous Beatles statues near the water were. Instead of just telling me, he went an extra hour over our tour time to drive us there, hang out in a long line, and take our pictures. He then dropped us off at the Cavern Club where we rocked out to a Beatles cover band all night long. What a day! Thank you Keith, we love you!!! Only thing we regret is not getting a picture with you 😩

Huge thanks to our lovely guide Phil. He made our tour so interesting with his humour and wonderful stories that were completely new to us. We were taken to all the childhood homes of the Beatles and Phil would play the appropriate songs en route. We learnt so much about how lots of the lyrics came about. Phil didn’t rush us along at all and made sure we had plenty of time to take our photos. Thank you again Phil and Fab4 Taxis. We had an amazing few days in Liverpool but this trip was definitely the highlight and we cannot recommend it enough

We had a private taxi tour with Geoff this morning. Geoff is a very personable guide who shared many stories and information we hadn’t heard before. He was fantastic and we would recommend this tour with no reservations!

I cannot imagine touring Liverpool and Beatles sites any other way. Dave, our guide, went out of his way to make our day exceptionally memorable and personalized. This tour exceeded our expectations and it was a time that I will always treasure. A great value for the money as well.

The tour was amazing! Our guide Geoff was really enthousiastic, friendly and experienced. He has a good knowledge of the Beatles and told some really interesting anecdotes in a pleasant way. The communication on forehand (by email) and during the tour was very fluent. The way Geoff guided us was perfect, we couldn't have expected more. The length of 3 hours was also perfect and the cab was very comfortable. On Penny Lane, we even met the former drummist of The Querry Men, John Lennon's first band. What we really enjoyed was the Beatles music in the taxi, Geoff adapted the songs so we could recognize details out of the songs in the neighbourhood (and we could sing along as much as we wanted). This tour was really worth its price. We really recommend chosing this tour if you're interested in the history and childhood of the Beatles.

Thank you Eddie (our lovely Liverpudlian chauffeur & tour guide) for a friendly, fun & informative 3 hours all about the FAB 4. We learned of their origins & were shown the communities where they grew up, along with how/where they met and what influenced & inspired them in their song-writing. There were 6 in our party but we were able to upgrade to a larger taxi for an additional fee. Highly recommend the Classic Beatles Tour - a wonderful way to learn the backstory of this amazing band. We had the best time!

Dave was the best tour guide. He knew not only the history of the Beatles but threw in plenty of Liverpool info as well. We had access to different places we didn't see when we toured with Mad Day Out a few years earlier so that was fab. (No knock on them, they just weren't open.) I was thrilled to see the St. Peter's spot where it all began in 1957. Wow. That alone,to me was worth it. It was only the tip of the iceberg.(Oh yeah,we saw the White Star Line building too!) Fab4 Tours is not to be missed if you're a Beatles fan in Liverpool.

We are all big Beatles fans and had the best time with our guide Geoff! We listened to a lot of Beatles music, always fitting to the next location we would be visiting. We learned a lot even though we had already been quite knowledgeable on the Beatles‘ history. It was great seeing John, Paul, George and Ringo‘s childhood homes and getting to know the background stories to some of our favorite Beatles songs. Thank you Geoff!

This was a fantastic experience because of Steve our driver and host. We had two friends and their friends all from Germany and Steve was so patient with them and so understanding of their basic needs and language needs. His knowledge was outstanding, the vehicle was immaculate and he made the day. They loved it and so did we as hosts. Our second time and even better than our last. So highly recommended

Beatles fan or not, I would highly recommend this tour. James was our guide, arrived on time and was very knowledgeable, interesting, funny and took time to get to know us also. I also liked how James didn’t just stick to the script, very authentic and great knowledge of the city itself, not just the Beatles

Thank you very much to our fantastic guide Geoff! We really enjoyed learning lots of new things about this band we love. We could really tell that he enjoys sharing his knowledge and that he wants to give us the best experience. It would take a long time to go to all these places by yourself so it was a great 3h the Beatles' Liverpool tour. Thank you also for the recommendations of documentaries and films we can watch if we want to learn more. :)

We are originally from Liverpool so don't really do the 'touristy stuff' but we were visiting with friends from London who were Liverpool virgins! They wanted to do something to do with the Beatles so after some research we decided on the fab four taxi tour. Well! this was such a good decision. We were picked up by Phil our driver and guide right outside the Premier Inn at the Albert Dock (another great choice). Phil was such a nice bloke, nothing was too much trouble. He drove us around all of the sites, all the Beatles houses, Strawberry Fields, Penny Lane etc. Imparting his vast knowledge of the Fab Four along the way. Plenty of time for photo opportunities etc. He explained the origins of the lyrics from various songs then played the tunes in the cab as we moved on to our next destination. We learned so much about the band that was new to us and so interesting. Phil was a great guide and the whole experience was excellent. We would all strongly recommend this tour.

What a treat! Our guide/taxi driver for our tour was John Joyce. What a lovely warm and friendly guide with an encycopedic knowledge of Beatles history delivered in a way that was always fascinating. We visited the homes of the Fab Four as well as other ares of interest and related what we saw to lyrics of Beatles songs. The background to Penny Lane was brilliantly told. I’m sure he would be excellent with every guest from little background knowledge to the fanatic and would modify his talk accordingly. This tour was the highlight of our Beatles weekend and worth every penny. Shorter review. Just book now and ask for John Joyce. You will not be disappointed.

I bought the tour as a gift for my Beatles-mad dad! And it certainly delivered. Our tour guide was John Joyce and he was incredible - so knowledgable and enthusiastic. He managed to keep the tour going without rushing us. Absolute highlight was Colin from The Quarrymen jumping in our taxi on Penny Lane to tell us about him time with John Lennon. Unforgettable.

Had a great tour with Jay our driver - very knowledgeable, he gave us just enough info without it being overload, and was a mix of Liverpudlian history as well as the Beatles. I chose this so we weren't fighting a bus load of people at each stop, we could relax, have as much or as little time/info at each place as we wanted, and could ask questions in-between venues. Would definitely recommend, thanks Jay! John & Martha

Our guide Steve arrived promptly and couldn’t have been more welcoming. We had an absolutely fantastic tour. Steve took time to ask us some questions on our Beatle knowledge, where we were from etc and tailored our tour accordingly! Extra little bits here and there that made it a superb, personal experience for us ! I whole heartedly recommend it and I’d certainly do it again and would ask for Steve! (Oh and he takes great photos with great ideas, matching them to old Beatles photos )

I booked myself on a tour the night before it happened. When I arrived at the taxi rank, I met the lovely tour guide, Steve Hughes, who told me I was the only customer that day and that the tour would still go ahead! I was happy to hear this! So off we went and right off the bat, Steve was so informative filling me in on the early days of the Beatles, who lived where, what events took place in the early years that shaped their lives, how they got together etc., backing it up with Beatles music in the taxi. We visited their childhood homes, the house where John was born (that Yoko bought and has preserved in his honour), the iconic sites (Penny Lane, Strawberry Fields, catholic church hall where Paul met John and auditioned, the catholic church graveyard where Elenor Rigby's grave, the barber shop, the field where the Quarry Men band played and Paul watched John, LIPA and the Art School, the registry where John and Cynthia got married). I was blown away not only by the visit to each place but by Steve's knowledge - he knew everything and was happy to share and I was happy to take it all in. I loved loved loved this tour and am so glad to have done it. While we were driving around, it started snowing - it was absolutely freezing each time we got out of the car, but I didn't care. I was in Beatle heaven! Thank you, Steve Hughes. I'd highly recommend you as a tour guide eight days a week!
