We had a wonderful time exploring the beautiful Uganda with our guide Chris. He picked us up from the airport on time and gave us a nice introduction to Uganda. We were with Chris for 6 days and we can't tell where the time went! We did a community walk one of the mornings which was wonderful to explore a local community in Kibale. We then went Chimpanzee trekking and this was a remarkable experience - the rangers were very experienced and looked after us well. We went to Queen Elizabeth national park and this was stunning - Chris pointed out all the animals to us and took us to where the action was at so we got an opportunity to see a huge variety of animals. Our boat safari in Kazhinga Channel was excellent too, we got very close to lots of elephants. We went Gorilla Trekking and this was a fantastic experience - the rangers and guides here were very experienced and knowledgeable, and we got to see gorillas closely after a great trek through the forest. The lodges we stayed at were superb, had wonderful service and lovely welcoming staff. They also had stunning views. Chris looked after us very well, he was an excellent driver and gave us a lot of information about the country and culture and the wildlife. He carefully planned the trip so we got to see the most amount of things while we were here, and took into considerations our needs too. The tour was organised in the best way to support the local communities, and I felt this gave us an authentic welcoming lovely experience. He even managed to get us some jackfruit to try on our last day! He was extremely resourceful and well connected and knew the roads, the community and people extremely well and it was wonderful to have him as our guide. I went on a 3-days trip to visit the gorillas in Bwindi from Kigali. The communication with Chris upfront was very good, he always responded quickly. My driver Victor was an excellent driver.  He stopped at interesting places where I could enjoy the view and helped me with the formalities at the border between Rwanda and Uganda. Victor informed me well about the gorilla trekking, what to wear and bring and the options for different lengths of the walk. He arranged everything for me The accommodation near Bwindi was beautiful, the staff was very helpful and the bungalows had an amazing view. I Highly recommend this trip with Native Africa Tours

This was a super trip in Uganda with Great Adventures Uganda! Everything ran smoothly and I totally recommend this trip to everyone who would like to track the Gorillas or visit Uganda. GAU gained my trust (not an easy thing!) to book a trip with them. I was picked up and dropped off at the location that I wanted. My driver was always on time and very reliable. I would have liked him to be a bit more talkative during our trip, so that I would have had the opportunity to learn more about Uganda. He was nevertheless kind and I liked him a lot as a person :)

Loved my experience with Native African tours and can say I would honestly book with them again. We completed the six day gorilla trekking tour that included game drives, chimpanzee trek, boating and heaps of additional fun along the way. Native African tours was very professional and went above and beyond to make our experience in Uganda great. The accomodation was breathtaking, the pictures do not do them justice. Chris was fantastic, he had great communication and quick replies with my 101 questions. Chris and Native African tours were so accommodating even when I asked add additional members to our group after the original booking.I felt there was nothing they wouldn’t do to make our experience. A few days packed with gorilla trekking, chimpanzee trek, game drives, boating and lots of fun! I booked a week tour with Native Africa just 3 weeks before I headed to Uganda. This was a solo trip so I was a little apprehensive but this was the best decision and it really was one of the best holidays of my entire life. Wow Uganda is an absolutely beautiful country. Within a week we saw gorillas, chimpanzees, lions (killing and eating a buffalo), hippos, elephants and more. And this coupled with a friendly tour guide, fun (long) car journeys and excellent food. There are lots of long drives but the scenery is so beautiful and constantly changing and you take in the local way of life so I never felt bored. As a solo female traveller I was instantly put at ease and I can honestly say I didn’t feel in danger or at risk once during my trip. My tour guide was Johnson was excellent, he is kind, calm, fun and informative. Being just one person with one tour guide could have been awkward but he is good at figuring out the level of interaction you want for different types of people. He shared the local music with me for the car journeys and we had a lot of fun during the weeks tour. The booking process was also very smooth and friendly. I reached out to enquire with my dates and some small preferences of what I was looking to do and very quickly the owner Chris came back with a proposed itinerary. He answered any questions I had quickly and put me at ease and we changed some of the plans together through simple discussion. For example of the accommodation looked a bit too budget for me so I suggested we upgrade slightly and this was also quick simple and easy. We also changed the order of the itinerary as the gorillas I had heard to be strenuous and I didn’t want to do that straight away after a long haul flight. He also guided me through the visa process and what I needed to take with me for the trekking. Everything we did was incredible but the gorilla trek was a real highlight. 9 hours trekking through the forest and seeing the gorillas roaming the mountains in action is something I will never forget. Be prepared this gets precarious at times!!!

We did safari trip to Bwindi for three days and we wish it would last longer. It was like a dream come true. We had the company chosen by a home travelling company but we couldn't have chosen better. Our guide Chris was a real friend to us ;) Not only has a great knowledge about the Country but also he offered us local snacks and made a beautiful honeymoons' photos! :) It was like a lifetime experience with indivual approach for us.
