Deep was a wonderful guide and this small boat tour is so much better than the giant boats that can’t go everywhere we went

Americans visiting Amsterdam and decided to take a private canal tour. The communication with the company was perfect. They were very good with explaining the process, such as where to meet. The skipper, Paap, was a great guide. I could not have imagined a more friendly and accommodating tour. We were provided some beers and waters. I would gladly take this tour again and I highly recommend them. As an LGBT couple we were very accepted and comfortable on the tour. I LOVE AMSTERDAM. Perfect city and this was a perfect canal tour. Thank you skipper Paap.

Rederij was there and ready to go. The boat was large enough to be comfortable, but small enough to visit areas of the city that standard canal tours can't fit. Lot's of knowledge from our guide, and a generally nice guy as well. Definitely would recommend this tour to anyone looking to see a little more of the city in a more intimate way.

I would highly recommend this private canal tour. The driver/guide met us promptly at our designated spot. The weather wasn’t great which is beyond anyone’s control. The boat was nice and dry. Captain was knowledgeable of the area.

Our canal cruise was relaxing, informative, interactive, easy and just simply the best. Paap was so accommodating and a huge source of knowledge. He made us feel welcome the minute we arrived and we had lively conversation throughout.

Skipper Paap was fantastic, so knowledgeable about the city, he has a very relaxed and chilled out demeanour. Would really recommend the boat trip, it was lovely to see the city from the water and felt very special to do it privately :)

Had a fantastic time. Our tour guide was absolutely fantastic. He took us on a nice, romantic tour of the canals in Amsterdam. He explained the sites along the way and was very knowledgeable of Amsterdam. He even had a variety of cables so that I was able to charge my cell phone. As we were cruising the canals, we reached our hotel close to the end of the tour and he offered to dropped us near our hotel so we did not have to pay for a taxi to return.

Pomp was very friendly! We loved the tour especially earlier in the am when the city was quiet. He was quite accommodating and our ride was comfortable. The only thing that would have made it better would be to have a little more history and explanation of the architecture or important events, etc. Overall I would definitely recommend this!

It was very special for us to have the boat for ourselves. Paap the captain is very skilled and he knows his job well. He even agreed to pick us up from a point very near to our hotel and dropped us near Dam. We appreciate his flexibility.

We had a great time! The skipper offered us some sparkling wine for our tour (beer and soft drinks were also available, and I think I spotted a bottle of Aperol somewhere). The weather was a bit crummy and we had to pause to put up the “windows” (I don’t know what they’re called), which the skipper kindly removed when the weather cleared up so we could have a nicer view. All questions were knowledgeably answered.

Paap was great! Fantastic experience and would highly recommend to anyone. We brought food and wine and had a lovely time viewing the city through the canals.

Skipper Paap was a joy to be with . We were sad for the tour to end. He has vast knowledge of the city and an easy going fun personality . 5 star treatment !

What a wonderful way to see Amsterdam. The boat captain was cheerful and knowledgeable and a pleasure to be around. The boat itself was clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend doing this while in Amsterdam.

Paap was amazing! The boat was clean and he was very friendly. He was extremely informative, but also did not intrude on the fact that it was a romantic Canal tour. Overall, we highly recommend this experience. We felt like we left with another friend in Amsterdam! He also gave us an amazing dinner recommendation!
