We had a really fun time biking through the district, looking about and hearing the story of the neighborhood, the pieces themselves, and the artists.

Had a wonderful afternoon cycling around the Arts District with Jennifer. We were able to see and experience some special parts of LA that would often be missed or overlooked. Jennifer was a fantastic guide and her deep connection with the tour was more than evident. So glad we ventured out. If you have the chance, don’t let the opportunity to pass you by.

We took a group of seventeen 11th grade students, and they had a blast! They saw a ton of murals, and got to ride over the 6th street bridge. It was a wonderful experience.

I booked the Pretty Gritty Arts District Tour. I enjoyed it very much. I'm from Germany and I got to know Los Angeles even better through this tour. I can absolutely recommend the tour. I am very thankful for this wonderful day!!!

My wife and I enjoyed every minute of this tour! Jennifer was so knowledgeable about the area and where to find the most beautiful murals throughout the Art District in DTLA. Jennifer knew a lot about the architecture, history, and hidden gems that the uninformed just don’t know. The weather was great and company even better. We’re looking forward to going to some of the amazing restaurants and breweries we were shown and looking forward to our next Handlebar Bike Tour! We totally recommend this experience when visiting DTLA! A must do!!!

Loved our tour with Jen. She is knowledgeable and friendly. The tour took us through the downtown arts district at an easy pace with plenty of stops for admiring the street art and even a stop at a gallery with a wonderful bar/restaurant with enough time for a quick beer. Great way to learn some history of a former industrial, rapidly gentrifying neighborhood

Jen was a fantastic guide through the Arts District of LA. She was exceptionally knowledgeable about the local artists, pubs, and restaurants. We really enjoyed learning about the local art scene and much of it's history plus had a blast riding over the new 6th Street bridge. Jen was also great in keeping us safe on the streets - we never felt nervous about the traffic! The entire tour was a great experience and we'll be back for one of the other Handlebar Bike Tours soon.

WOW! This was such a wonderful tour! Jen was an amazing guide. I bought this as a gift to my boyfriend as we like history, arts, and urban city life and were visiting LA for the weekend. I was a little nervous as I'm not super athletic and it's been a while since I've biked through city streets, but Jen moves at a great pace and the bikes are super comfortable. She gave a great history of the arts district and we saw lots of murals and learned about the artists. We stopped throughout the tour giving you a nice little break at each mural. Jen also allows time for a nice stop towards the end to explore the area. Don't be afraid if you aren't a pro cyclist - this tour is great even for middle-aged, non-athletic people like me and my boyfriend who is much more athletic! :) You will learn something new and gain a great appreciation for the history of the Arts District.

Had a great time on this easy bike ride around the arts district. We learned so much about the history of the area, backstory on murals all over the neighborhood, and about the way gentrification is unfolding here. I thought it was really well rounded and as a local, totally changed how I thought about this area. We stopped for a snack at one point, and most of the biking was through alleys and small streets with not a lot of cars.

Loved it. The your guide was very kind and warm person. She explained everything in detail and gave sufficient heads-up during the tour about the next turns and navigation. She ensured everyone is together and no one is left out. Got some great tips about the local restaurants too. Overall very satisfied with the experience and would recommend everyone.
