Luis was great.. very generous and flexible with his time. A wonderful experience and worth the money

We had an amazing time on our tour of the Douro Valley with our guide Luis. The selection of wineries was fantastic and we especially enjoyed out private tasting and tour with one of the locations. Our guide, Luis, was very knowledgable and accommodating. He was a pleasure to talk to and helped make the experience special. Private is the way to go as you can make the experience what you want! Brilliantly hosted - Filipa was super friendly, accomodating and patient throughouth the tour. The wineries were well-selected - 2 of the 3 were small, independant wineries where the winemakers/ owners, clearly passionate and exceptionally friendly, were hosting the very small group / private tour and tastings. Lunch was fair, a perhaps smaller (more unique) venue would have been welcome, but no issues by any means (service and food were both good). Would recommend this tour (and host!) unequivocally. Thank you!

This was an excellent tour for both those new to wine, and those who have a lot of experience. The wineries chosen each provided us a different experience to give you a much more well rounded idea of what this beautiful place is like. For those into wine, it was excellent. Not only did you have a chance to try very high quality and traditional wines, but there was also an opportunity to taste things that are a bit more experimental and different. All of the wine was fantastic! Our tour guide was Filipa and she was excellent. Not only was she incredibly knowledgeable about the area and the wine, but she was lovely company for the day. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to visit the Douro Valley.

This tour was the absolute highlight of our trip! We had the best time. Luis, our guide, was amazing. He was knowledgeable, fun, and took us to vineyards that we truly enjoyed. The communication prior to the tour was flawless and the day of was organized perfectly. We can't say enough great things and would 10/10 recommend this tour.

Jorge was our tour guide. He was lovely and very informative. The Duoro valley is beautiful and we loved our tour of the three wineries. Lunch was delicious as well and is served in a gorgeous setting. I was surprised how much I enjoyed the port tasting as this is not usually a wine I enjoy. All in all, it was a fabulous day!

We had an amazing day visiting wineries in the Douro Valley! Our guide, Beatriz, was fun, personable, and informative. We were stunned by the scenery and beauty, and the wineries we visited were great. We got to try many different varieties of Port and other wine. Would highly recommend this tour if you're in Porto!

Incredible views, terrific wines, and very warm and welcome receptions at each of the wineries. The Guide was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us much insight. Luckily the weather was good during the drive and visits. The lunch was sufficient although the selection of food choices could be improved. The Wineries were all nice with proper introduction and tasting of the wines available at the winery.

This tour was everything we imagined it to be and more! Ana, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed every stop and all of the scenery. Each tasting just got better and better with every stop! We hope to one day bring friends back to enjoy it!

Our guide, Jorge, is very knowledgeable, attentive, humorous, and flexible. Thank you for your delightful company! It gave our group wonderful memories and a better appreciation of Portuguese culture. From the scenic drive to the lunch at Cais da Foz, the experience was like an excellent appetizer to further explore the region's culture and cuisine. Our favorite of the 3 wineries were Favaios and the Quinta Seara d'Ordens, although Quinta de Avessada also had its own flavorful uniqueness.

This tour of the Douro Valley was everything I was looking for. Jorge was a wonderful guide. The wineries were beautiful and the wines were delicious. The van picked each group up at our accommodation, then we were off to Douro Valley. Our lunch stop was lovely, with plenty of food and wine on the table. Each vineyard provided a good amount of history before each tasting. Nothing was rushed or seemed to drag on. Most of us fell asleep on the drive back. Each of us were then dropped off back at our hotels. There were three groups on this tour, eight people total. This was a wonderful tour and I would definitely book again. I highly recommend.

I could not rate this experience enough it was amazing. Myself and my boyfriend were the only ones of the tour with our tour guide Ana, Ana made our experience exceptional and she is a credit to the company. From the tour to our lunch to her answering all our questions we could not of asked for a better guide! I would highly recommend this tour, a great day and so many different wines/ports to taste.

We had a fantastic day with our tour guide, Jorge. He was very knowledgable, friendly, and pleasurable to spend the day with. He even took time out of his day to send us additional emails on places to stay, eat, and other experiences in the region. The wineries we stopped at were all really neat and each offered a different insight into the wine industry in the Douro Region. We would definitely go through this tour group again!

This was a really great day out. We had a really great guide (Jorge), he was very thorough, organised and thoughtful. We stopped at some super vineyards and tried some lovely wines and port. The scenery was amazing. We left the hotel at 8.30am and were back around 6.30pm, so it was a very full day. There were 6 people on the tour so we really got the personal treatment.

We did the day trip with Jorge this week and had a great experience. He was very knowledgeable about the Douro Valley, and took us to some amazing family owned wineries. We also got along very well with the other 3 people in our group and by the end felt like we were best friends! Jorge Also gave us an email with recommendations in Porto which was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend!!

We are very happy choosing this more personal tour over the more popular ones. Jorge, our guide, was fenomaly friendly and kind; he gave us very good information all the way through the tour. The first and last winary we stopped by were the small family-run type. Their wine was amazing and their gave us a lot of attention, something you probably won't get with bigger groups. The lunch was quite fine and they had an vegetarian alternative for me (omelette). The way back close to the river had some beautiful scenery as well. Overall, it was a great time and we will never forget our visit to Douro valley.
