Tour guide Ernest did very well and we had a great time and got us back to Trieste on time! Does not take very long at all to get there from Trieste.

WOW- The old castle built into a cave was really cool. The Postojna Cave was amazing. I have been in many caves and on many cave tours and this was the largest I have been to. . We also enjoyed our tour guide that gave us great information about the area.

Our tour guide was awesome. He shared many historical things about his homeland Slovenia and about Trieste. The castle was amazing and the cave was incredible. Our driver was a ski jumper and shared a video with us. I did not remember his name but he always great

Ernesto was an awesome guide - very friendly and informative. I really enjoyed the tour. The van was nice and clean also.

The castle is quite fascinating and well worth a visit. Afterwards we went to the cave and were amazed by its natural beauty. The entire experience was wonderful.

How green & clean the countryside was. Excellent tour guides for bus trip & cave visit. The highlight of train trip inside the cave system.

Christina was a wonderful guide. She made sure everyone was comfortable and knew what to expect. The castle and cave were amazing! Be prepared to do a fair amount of walking and climbing steps. The cave is a bit chilly so bring a jacket.

I have visited caves in The USA and Spain but this is something else. You cannot get the scale of it from photos....at all. The train takes 15 going through stunning caves and caverns. I thought that was the trip and would have been happy with that but then the train arrives at this huge cathedral sized cave full of mountainous stalagmites and stalactites and we all disembarked. We were then guided for 40 minutes through monumental caves, with nature's own sculptures, over bridges and water, through valleys. It was astounding!!!! My breath was taken away!! Then back on the roller coaster ride train. The best trip I have done in a lifetime.....apart from the screaming kids and two bus loads of load American teenagers.

tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about Slovenia. castle and cave were both beautiful and the trip was an appropriate length.

We booked this tour with Viator, tour was operated by a local company, Koper Tours. We were picked up on time from the cruise terminal, made another stop to pick up another group at a hotel. Our guide spoke excellent English. First stop was at the castle which sits embedded in the cliffs. There are a lot of stone stairs inside the castle, it would be hard for anyone with mobility problems. Castle really didn’t have much inside, a mock up dining room. We were on our own inside the castle. Next stop was the caves which started and ended with an electric train ride. Inside the caves are pretty amazing, it’s 50 degrees inside year round. There is a lot of walking between the train rides, on slippery, wet surfaces. There is a guide that tells some of the highlights. Anyone who has mobility issues I’d advise not to take this tour due to the wet, slippery surfaces. We walked about a mile.

The tour guide was very responsible and polite, good driving skill. Both scenic spot are wonderful. The time running is just made, and enough time to explore everything.

This was a wonderful trip. Our guide, Dean, was fabulous - very informative and helpful. The castle was really interesting and the cave experience phenomenal. The company does provide a detailed email the day before the trip giving the meeting point location and time.

Both the castle and caves were amazing. The only negative feedback is that there wasn’t any time in between the two itineraries to get a snack/lunch. It would be ideal to allow for a lunch break between the two activities.

Ernie and Matt (?) were very enthusiastic and prompt. We had issues with participants not honoring the time and the group continued with Matt staying behind to bring them to the caves. That said the castle was rushed, I believe because we waited for a no show. Both were very happy to explain the history of the area in addition to the venues. Overall a wonderful experience!

Both the cave and the castle were great. Make sure you have a jacket, the cave is chilly. The guide didn't give very much info about Slovenia while driving but the self guided tour at the castle was good.
