What a great way to experience Portland! Herb was our guide and he was a wealth of knowledge. We entered as strangers as a group and we all left as friends.

Great food, great commentary nice people all around. Herb knew his stuff and seemed to care that we all.enjoyed ourselves.

We enjoyed the international food and drinks at 3 different pods. Herb was a great guide with fun anecdotes and trivia about the Portland pod scene.

The weather was typical Oregon, mixed bag. Our guide Herb was a real attribute. Funny and knowledgeable. A broad mix of food cultures and well worth the investment of time and monies

I did this tour back in October, but I came back to write a review because I loved it so much. The tour guide Michelle was so friendly and knowledgeable, and she even helped us plan how to get to Multnomah Falls and back. We had no idea there were no Ubers out there, so she prevented us from getting stranded. The food and drinks were amazing, and there was so much to try. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Portland!

The Lost Plate tour was one of the highlights of my year. I've always known that Portland, OR was famous for our Food Trucks because of the quality and diversity of the food offered but until the tour, I had not experienced it. Now I am hooked! I will go again for my birthday and will always suggest the tour to friends and relatives visiting the area.

This was my first trip to Portland so I did a lot of research on various food tours. Herb’s name kept popping up as a great tour guide…so when we met at the start of the tour I was thrilled that Herb was our guide. He exceeded my (already high) expectations! Herb’s knowledge of Portland and the food carts was very impressive. The selection of tasty foods was a scrumptious of tastes from many different regions. Being able to try multiple items was perfect. The portions were plentiful. A huge thanks to Herb for making my trip to Portland so memorable.

This was a great way to taste our way through the several owner-operated Portland food carts! Our friendly, knowledgeable guide did all the work, and we just enjoyed the journey.

Evangel was our host and was the sweetest. Very bubbly personality and fun to be around. We went to Hawthorne Asylum Food Pod and that was really a treasure. I wished we had stayed longer to try ALL the foods!

This was a brilliant food tour, not only because of the quality/quantity of food but also due to the tour guide Herb. The 2 food pods we visited were excellent, and the food provided was amazing. Special mention to the Ukrainian Pelmeni (dumplings) and waffle (I'm not a dessert person, but this was something else!) We also visited a couple of other places including a brewery, both also really good. We did a number of tours on this trip and Herb was easily the best guide of all of them. Very knowledgeable, engaging and easy to talk to.

As a food tour guide myself, I have to say... Evangel did a fantastic job of leading us around Portland, sharing history about the pods, carts and their chefs, telling us informative tidbits about the food scene and introducing us to new cuisines with generous portions. I thoroughly enjoyed my time on this tour and so did my taste buds! Loved that Evangel took photos of our group and sent them to us after the tour was over. Highly recommend this tour!

We were visiting from Hawaii to take one kiddo back to the University of Oregon and the other one to start at Oregon State University. What better way to see and eat around Portland than a food tour? We were so glad that we picked this particular food card/pod tour. Our guide, Michelle, was great and took us to the best carts and we were able to try foods that I personally would not have picked out on my own. There were even vegetarian options available. All of the food was amazing and we were fortunate to have great company in our group and fantastic weather. Highly recommend! Next time we are in town, I'm going to sign up for the coffee and donut tour.

Great tour with a wide variety of cuisines. Am a wheelchair user and all venues were accessible and easy to get to.

The tour was an absolute blast. Herb was an amazing guide and the food was exceptional. Herb was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and interesting. He made the entire experience so much fun. The food was outrageously good. Not a single taste I didn’t like. The portions were huge (and maybe my only note - smaller would actually be better because we were SO full). A truly fantastic way to learn about Portland, the food carts, and get immersed in the culture of the city. Well worth the ticket price. Highly recommended!

Evangel was our tour guide and she was awesome. She was very knowledgeable about Portland in general and especially the foodie scene. Everything dish we tried was excellent, and we definitely ate things we had never tried before. The food pod tour was a great way to spend our last day in Portland.

There was a good variety of food; I think the leader had good information although I couldn’t hear what she was saying much of the time even after I told her. She stood at the end of the table I was not at and would speak before the group arrived at a location.

Evangel is a great tour guide. She gave us information not only about the food we tasted but also about the neighborhood. We tasted a wide variety of foods at 4 different venues. The portions provided were large. Excellent guide, excellent food, excellent experience. One of the best foods I have been on.
