Overall, it was a great experience! Our tour guide, Lavinia, was very personable and knowledgeable. Each stop was well-coordinated, and the limoncello stop at the end was unforgettable. While I valued having a tour guide within Pompeii, it did feel quite rushed. I could have spent much longer there if I wasn't part of an organized tour. Next time, I would take the high speed train from Rome (it only takes 1h10 instead of 3h on a bus) and either go with a Naples-based tour company or use the audio guides that the site provides.

Did the Mt. Vesuvius dome climb. Don't believe the tour description it's not a gentle 14 degree 20 minute walk. It's more like 30-35 degrees that's very strenuous, especially for a 70 year old with emphysema. But it's worth the effort, the most beautiful views of Naples and Naples bay ever. You'll be glad you did it.

The visit was great but the bus had a blowout which was scary and delayed our return to Rome until a little after 10:00. The bus driver was very skilled and avoided a bad accident.

I am grateful for the chance to visit Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius during my short stay in Rome. These were places I had longed to see after reading about them. Our guide Jon shared fascinating stories and insights about Italy, Rome, Pompeii, and Vesuvius in native English, which was a huge plus. Our Pompeii guide was also informative and entertaining. The only downside was the lengthy waiting time for lunch, but I understand these things happen and I trust it will be addressed. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the tour!

Barbara is simply incredible. She is so knowledgeable, I could listen to her all day long. And Antonio the driver is the very best. Highly recommend this day. Such an amazing experience!

Usually tours like this is all about rushing but this tour’s timing for each segment was perfect with an amazing guide Laura always looking out for us and giving us precious information about Italy and answering questions with a huge warm smile. At the Pompeii site, our local guide, Enrico was so humourous that made the walking tour very enjoyable and memorable while looking at the ruins. Of course not forgetting our driver, Luca who made the journey smooth and comfortable on the roads. Overall, me and my companion are very pleased we went on this tour with them!

Andrea, Danilo and Elena were incredible! Andrea was very friendly and knowledgable, excellent at keeping the group engaged. Enjoyed the hike to Mount Vesuvius and the guided tour through Pompeii.

Great day. Pompeii is amazing. Stopped 1/2 way to use facilities and get coffee which makes the ride seem not so long. Jonathon did a good job getting us every where on time Glad I chose Mt Vesuvius option. What an amazing view

Second putting; first one was to the Amalfi coast and this was included Mt Vesuvius. If I didn’t go to the Pompeii trip at the end of 2022, I wouldn’t have known what I was missing at this experience. City tour guide was super nice chaperoning us to the various locations however the super thick accent of the Pompeii tour guide means a lot was lost in translation and English is my first language.

Enricca was an excellent guide. She was very informative, organized, & knowledgeable. The day was so memorable & worth the price. I would highly recommend. Our drive Adamo was excellent as well. The bus was new & very clean.

Lavinya and the quiet Luka was amazing his hands on the steering was exceptional **!! The info provided during the trip was helpful, we didn't know in Italy the last running Metro stops at 9pm on a weekday.

Angie was an amazing tour guide as well as Carlo. So informative in Pompeii and the Mt. Vesuvius hike was beautiful and worth it. Lunch was provided and it was delicious pizza. Hope to do another tour with Angie and visit again soon!

Wow, what a trip! When to Positano first, what a beautiful city. Had a opportunity to just walk around, do some shopping and just enjoy the city. Then we went to Pompeii, what a site to see. The whole family enjoyed the tour. Our tour guides were great. Full of stories and information

Eduardo was our guide, along with Andrea the driver. Both were fantastic. The knowledge and enthusiasm from Eduardo was enormous Friendly and correios, highly recommended

The stops to Pompeii and Positano were worth the trip, and our tour guides were informative, professional, and entertaining. We only wished we had more time at each destination; Positano, in particular, felt very rushed. About eight of the 13 total hours of the tour were spent on the bus.

This trip was definitely worth it! The experience is amazing and absolutely breathtaking. Our guide Natasha was very knowledgeable and was happy to give many helpful tips for a trip in Italy. Pompeii was interesting and beautiful. We went to Positano as an option and the town we stopped is very touristic for sure but the place is so beautiful and the lemon slushy is really out of this world! The only part I was sad about is the allowed free time came to about one hour and a half and you’d thing it’s decent but we barely got to do anything as with this time you either can go around the shops or go down to the beach for limited time as you have to be back on time to the bus and it’s about a 20 min walk from the beach and 10 min walk from the stores. But all together it was a good trip! I recommend :) May weather is perfect for this trip! oh and also, I think booking directly through city wonders is much cheaper.

Barbara was an absolute joy as a tour director. She made the outing fun from the beginning. The limoncello rest stop was a fun and pleasant surprise! Only suggestion would be to not allow the seating to be a free for all at the beginning… it all worked out fine, but was kind of a cluster.

This was a really great tour! John and Antonio were a great tour guide and bus driver duo. We took my 87 year old grandmother and she really enjoyed her time, but the hike was a bit too much for her so she opted out of that experience. Still—a good day for the family and something that most can enjoy. Thanks for helping to make a dream of my grandma’s come true!
