Had a wonderful time just outside of Buenos Aires watching (and playing a little) polo under the stars. Our guide, Agustin picked us up promptly at our hotel and then we were off to the countryside. Our super great guide answered every question we had about the game, the region, and the history of the area. When we got to the polo field, we met the owner of the estancia, and were treated to a glass of Malbec and fresh tasty empanadas straight from the parrilla. Then we watched a full polo match, and met the players and the horses. Everybody was awesome! We even got to participate a bit in the game by throwing the starting ball in and running the ending chukker bell. We ended the evening eating a huge bbq dinner with more meat than I could ever eat. It was really delicious. This was a wonderful experience and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Buenos Aires!

Polo Night was such a unique, fun small group activity. The driver/guide spoke excellent English. We were treated to a glimpse into the Argentinian horsemanship past with a small on-site musuem. We watched a Polo game and then actually got to get on horses and give it a go! Such fun. A simple but not easy sport. All this, followed by a well executed and generous meal with wine. Highly recommended!

This was an amazing, once in a lifetime experience. Celia was very helpful in organising the evening. Francesca was our host for the evening and was knowledgeable (being a polo player herself) and also spoke excellent English. I would highly recommend this trip

Excellent evening! So fun, delicious bbq and lots of yummy wine! Amazing polo match - especially for us as we have no experience of polo. Such a nice surprise to ride the horses and test out a game of polo ourselves - the horses were so calm and everyone so lovely and helpful! Our guide was so kind and great too! Thank you so much!

Natalia was wonderful! We had a great time watching the polo matches and participating and riding the horses. However, we were not prepared for the very long drive (1.5 hours one way) and very late meal (12:00 am)! We did not get back to our hotel until almost 2:00 am! If it could have been earlier it would have been so much better!

Amazing experience, not to be missed. Everything about this event was too notch. The host Natalia was exceptional: professional, friendly and extremely informative. The polo ground was totally authentic and we had a great time watching the game and meeting and dining with the polo players. It was highly interactive and something we will treasure. Next time we are in BA we will attend the day event!

We were picked up by the lovely Felicitas who drove us to the polo fields. She was so chatty and lively that the journey flew by (her English is also amazing). She was the best host. We honestly had the most incredible experience. We were made to feel so welcome and we were fuelled with lots of drinks and delicious empanadas upon arrival. The polo was absolutely fantastic. You get a wonderful view on the sidelines and it really feels like you are in the action. We even got to ring the bell and throw the balls in. Next we were given an opportunity to put on equipment and try to play for ourselves. Marcos and Felicitas made us feel very at ease and we agreed that it was the best experience we had on our 3-week trip. I didn’t think we’d have the opportunity to ride professional horses and get a polo lesson at the same time! After the game, we sat down with the players and other members of the club. Everyone was so friendly and hospitable. The food and wine were great and overall, it was just an incredible evening. We were a little hesitant at first because of the price but I can assure you it is worth every penny. Such an authentic and incredible experience. Thank you so much and we will make sure to tell any of our friends visiting Argentina!

We loved our evening at polo under the stars, amazing food and experience. We knew nothing about polo and our guide was so helpful and knowledgable. The experience can not be rivalled and is a must do in Argentina

Real words can not describe just how amazing this experience was for myself (and two mates). From the moment we were picked up, the evening was just perfect! We had our own private polo match, more food and wine (and other drinks) that we could imagine and learned about everything that is polo. Our guide, Agustina, was absolutely fantastic. Like next level good! She was super knowledgeable and made us feel like part of the family straight away! From three people who work as tour guides, she really went to the next level as did every single person that we met along the way (chefs, players, spectators, other helpers)! We even had the opportunity after watching a great polo match and meeting the players to ride the horses and try our hand at Polo. Everything we did, we were super involved to the point where my friends had to practically drag me away at the end as I wanted to stay there forever. There is actually nothing that could have been done to make this night better! It deserves 6 stars and was perfect! Thanks Argentina Polo night for the best experience I have had on a trip in a long time!

What a wonderful night under the stars...50 miles north of Buenos Aires. Polo match, good company, great BBQ and open fire empanadas. Celia was a marvelous host and Augusta the perfect guide. Do this if you can.

We were the only guests and enjoyed the undivided attention of the host. Only concern was the long, on a Friday night, car journey from town to the venue - need to tell visitors that the venue is 80 kms out of Buenos Aires. Would have nejoyed more interctio with the players but language difficulties made this difficult

We went with my family to know how it is a night in the Argentine countryside. The experience turned out to be wonderful and super recommendable. We enjoyed a polo match, regional food and we met a typical Argentine estancia. Amazing!

My wife, 10 year old son and I had a spectacular time at the Polo Night under the stars. It was one of our best experience ever. An absolute must do if you find yourself in Buenos Aires. Celia, her husband Ruben and their wonderful daughter were amazing hosts. The food and wine were amazing. The Polo match was thrilling and on top of it all we all had a chance to try our hand at Polo for the first time and ride the horses. My son enjoyed it so much that he is already planning on going back. A totally amazing experience.

This was the best thing we did in Buenos Aires. Our host, Augustina, was amazing and went out of her way to make sure we had the best time. The food and wine were unbelievably good, the facilities excellent and the matches exciting. Great memories!

My husband and I hade a wonderful evening with Sebastian & crew at Argentina Polo Day. Pick up was right on time from our hotel by Sebastian a polo player and vet for the farm. We were taken about an hour out of the city to enjoy a beautiful night under the clear star filled sky. The polo game between two teams of thee which was fascinating. Sebastian took the time to explain the rules and nuances of the game. We even got to try our hand at riding and hitting the polo balls ourselves. The food was also great; we were treated like friends invited to a family BBQ: warm friendly people, flowing wine, tapas and seemingly endless amounts of delicious carne!!! Many thanks for a spectacular evening!!!!

Our daughter organised this evening visit with Celia who was very helpful and prompt with replying to our emails. We were picked up from our hotel by Sebastian. Journey was about 75 minutes as traffic quite heavy but time went quickly as Sebastian chatted,explained polo rules and generally entertained us. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The food was delicious and plentiful. Lots of lovely red wine. Also beer and soft drinks. The polo was great fun to watch. You get to throw in the ball to start the chukka, practice with a mallet ( not as easy as it sounds) and meet the ponies who are gorgeous. At the end you get to ride your own pony and play a match. I’m quite nervous of horses and my husband doesn’t ride but we both really enjoyed ourselves. The ponies were very gentle and I felt quite safe. It was the best part of the evening. Again big thank you to Sebastian who made sure that we were happy and we did not feel under any pressure if we did not want to do anything. He was really friendly, excellent english and a good laugh. The evening was very leisurely, no rushing and we were dropped back at our hotel about 1pm. I would say this was one of our best nights out in Argentina. You must do this !!!

Definitely a highlight of our trip to Argentina! We did the Polo night option which was a unique way to learn about polo and watch the matches. The food was great, it was very interactive to keep us all engaged and everyone was very friendly. Highly recommend !

The night we went, my friend and I were part of an 8 person group. After arriving by 2 hired cars at the polo club on a private estate we checked out the pony’s and the players. Then very quickly the first chuck started and it was a good game with traditional wine and appetizers offered in the grandstand. The best part was after the game and the food, we were offered the chance to get on the horses with sticks and helmets and go out into the field to hit a few goals. We each had a guide who helped us by throwing the balls toward us... it was great fun and a real plus to get on the horse to check out the sport first hand. All the people were very kind and generous, as were our fellow guests

This was one of the absolute highlights of my time in BA. I had never sat on a horse prior to this day, but was reassured by the other reviews from non riders that the team would look after me. I was absolutely right. My expectations were that I might be led onto a polo field, walked around and a couple of pics, but oh no. The venue itself is amazing, about an hour out of BA via the taxi included in the price, on arrival some refreshing drinks and chat with other guests ( many with no / little experience ) followed by watching a polo match with a chat on the history on the sport. An amazing asado lunch followed with as much drinks / wine as you would like follows, then the riding. The briefings from Stephane / team are perfect, both reassuring and a little stretching, and will select a horse right for your needs, and then your off and running. For the inexperienced or no experience rider, there is nothing to fear, it’s clear you are being looked after by experts and I felt 100% safe at all times. A thoroughly exhilarating day, you will sleep well that night. A MUST DO in BA. Only 1 thing I would bear in mind is for the more experienced riders , would suggest the horses are treated to the less experienced, so could disappoint those with more experience. For me, one of the absolute highlights of my time in BA, thank you Stephane, Augustina, Celia, players.
