Lovely tour. Fun to bike in this city and stop at nice places to taste different foods from different cultures. Our guide Andrew was very enthusiastic and a pleasure to have us guiding this city. If you love to taste different foods, this tour is for you. The focus is a little more on riding to different restaurants then on locations in the city. If you really would like to focus more on biking or site seeing, one of the other tours would be more appropriate.

The Foodie Bike tour was the highlight of our Kuala Lumpur visit! We were a group of four including my 80 year old mother. The tour guide Hing was very experienced and friendly. We learned a lot of new things about KL we also had great food. In spite of the rain Hing improvised and thus ging us a great afternoon and evening!!

We took the foodie tour and were guided by Hing. What an amazing experience and tour it was. Hing led us (safely) to different places he knows places as a local for the best treats. Chinese, Indian and Malaysian excellent food. And he was not bothered to fit the tour to our wishes. Besides food he also tells a lot about the city and the malaysian culture. Thanks Hing and Mike bikes for the amazing tour. A lot of fun.

We found out that The foodie tour has been implemented since a few weeks and luckily for us we could experience this tour with Andrew and Mike as our tourguides! Really enjoyed with them as we visited some ancient restaurants which are preserved by generations. Beautiful to see the passion and taste the ambiance. The food was very good as we have visited a Chinese, indian, Malaysian restaurant and a bakery. Thanks to MikeBikes for this experience! Absolutely recommended if you are in Kuala Lumpur!

I did the Pitstop Foodie tour on Monday 11 July and it was a fantastic experience! First of all, cycling around the city is a great way to get around. Then the food stops encompassed the different cuisines you’ll find in KL, of which there are many, and my tour guide Hing did a great job of explaining the history and top dishes per stop and pushing me to try new things (but I did ask for this, he always checked first!) Hing was a great guide around the city and I felt really safe under his leadership, he was also excellent company at the dinner table. After a chat about what I wanted to experience he moulded the tour to make sure I got the most out of it so we also squeezed in some sights as well. I honestly can’t recommend this tour enough. Hing was a brilliant companion/leader/guide and made the whole thing unforgettable, a must-do if you’re in KL and into your food!

We have done many food tours but this is up there with the best for a few reasons. Firstly the food, we have never been given such quantity and quality food on a food tour. Secondly the biking between stops was so much fun and we felt 100% safe travelling through the busy KL traffic. Thirdly, and most importantly, all the staff from Mike’s bikes were great, from always checking we were okay with the food options, to taking lots of great photos for us. They made the tour feel very personal and gave us a great insight into Kuala Lumpur and also their own lives and experiences.

After seeing an advert about this company and doing some online research I decided the foodie pit stop tour would be a terrific way to end the last day of my 2 month travels. I was immediately welcomed by the crew and lucky to have my own tour guide Joseph for the tour that lasted 4.5 hours, between 5:30pm - 10:00pm (unfortunately the time went too quickly)! I was catered for extremely well being a vegetarian and meant that we made it up as we went along. We stopped off at many places along the way, whether it be to learn about the history or eat and I felt really safe on the bike in the traffic / rain and back lanes. The bikes are modern, work efficiently and are comfortable. I can’t recommend this tour enough for those that want to explore the city in more detail and also taste yummy food that they wouldn’t normally stumble across. The other tours MikeBikes offer also look really good but where food if offered I’m there. Thanks again for having me!

Went on the Pit Stop Foodie tour and our guides Sin and Hing were very knowledgeable and made sure all cyclists were safe. Really enjoyed the diversity in food and the tour is a nice way to discover the city!

The foodie tour was just amazing! All the guides were extremely nice, helpful and chatty troughout the entire trip. The bikes are very good and the food at the pit stops was excellent. As an “experienced bike tourer” I can honestly say this was probably my best biketour experience so far in southeast Asia.

Als je Kuala Lumpur op een speciale, andere manier wilt leren kennen: doe dan een fietstoer met MikeBikes. Mike is een aardige en bevlogen Nederlander die fantastische toers per fiets organiseert. Onder leiding van locals die niet alleen veel van de stad en de geschiedenis weten, maar ook met trots en passie daarover vertellen. Wij hadden het geluk met Hing op stap te gaan. Een avondtoer langs bezienswaardigheden in het oude deel van Kuala Lumpur, gecombineerd met eten op verschillende plekken. Wat een mooie ervaring! Niet in de laatste plaats dankzij Hing, die heel veel over de stad, de hi storie, en de de cultuur weet. Wat een kennis en passie! We hebben een geweldige avond gehad, veel geleerd, en heerlijk gegeten. Dank je wel Hing! Jij hebt voor de perfecte afsluiting van onze vakantie gezorgd en ons in 4 uur een onvergetelijke ervaring bezorgd.

Wat een mooie tour. Het multiculturele van Maleisië proef je terug in deze tour. Authentiek eten op mooie plekjes afgewisseld met leuke stukjes fietsen. Heerlijke snacks uit de chinese keuken, vervolgens overheerlijke pastries. De pastries hebben een verhaal wat natuurlijk verteld werd. Daarna lekkers uit India en als afsluiter een echte maleisische specialiteit met een fruitjuice. Dit onder begeleiding van Hing, helemaal geweldig. MikeBikes bedankt!

Wir haben im April eine Foodie Tour bei Mikes Bike KL gebucht. Unser Guide war Andrew, der uns nach einer Probefahrt mit den Fahrrädern eine Einweisung und Erklärung der Handzeichen gegeben hat. Wir waren sehr aufgeregt und angespannt, hatten wir doch schon vorher ein paar Einblicke in den Verkehr.... Andrew hat uns sehr sicher und souverän geleitet. Das foodie tasting war sehr gut 👍... wir waren in einem chinesischen Restaurant, in einer Art chinesischer Bäckerei, in einem indischen Restaurant und haben zum Abschluss typisch malayisches Essen probiert. Zwischen den Stops bekamen wir von Andrew viele interessante Informationen zu Entstehung der Stadt, zu Kultur und Religion in KL und Malaysia. Zusätzlich haben wir wunderschöne Orte gesehen und es war immer Zeit und Möglichkeit, Fotos zu machen. Die bike - foodie - tour war eines der besten und aufregendsten Erlebnisse auf unserer Reise. We hebben een hele leuke fietstocht gehad met Sally. Sally wist heel veel van de cultuur en liet ons de leuke plekjes zie n in Kuala Lumpur. Ook mochten we onderweg veel fruit proeven en kregen we heerlijk eten. We hebben een goede foto nadruk gekregen van Kuala Lumpur en konden zo bepalen wat we verder nog wilden gaan zien.
