These are two very infectious (in a good way 😉) pirates! They made this so much fun for the kids, it was just great! Nothing but massive praise for this. Take your kids and watch them have fun. And adults, be sure let your own inner pirate show a wee bit! Arrrrrrrr!

My family (2 adults, 3 kiddos) had an awesome time! The cruise was super interactive for the kids. The cutest concept, everyone involved was in character & involved everyone on the ship. My kids had a blast & have already asked to come back! Thanks to the wonderful guys that run this rig!

This far exceeded our expectations! Took our daughter, son-in-law and our 3.5 yr old grandson. He was all smiles the entire trip, and was so excited that he was learning how to be a “real pirate”. Told his mom & dad “this was his best day ever”! Definitely worth every penny & then some. We will be back!

An amazing experience for the kids I got the kids so involved and excited. The captains were amazing seem like they enjoyed themselves as much as the kids. I highly recommend. I would totally do this again worth the money. beautiful day seeing the water in Charleston made it an even better experience.

We took our grandson on this cruise and it was fantastic. The crew was in character as pirates and maintained co stant interaction with the kids. This is a must do to take your young children on, all of the kids had a blast. We will definitely be back with our other grandchilder when they co.e down to visit!

A must do in Charleston with kiddos! Fantastically fun for the kids and as an adult was giggling the entire ride. They really are committed to making the boat ride a great experience. Bravo!

This was so much fun. From the moment this show began, my kids were in heaven! The boat, the crew, the overall experience was perfect. It was relaxing for the adults and so engaging for kids of all ages. My girls are 2 and 5, and my nephews are 6 and 9-everyone had the greatest time. Hours later, they are in their hats playing with their foam swords and golden coins. The interactive way the crew brings the experience to life couldn’t have been better. I highly recommend this!

The Pirates Cruise was a wonderful way to relax as the kids were entertained (our kids ages are: 13, 11, 10).

Pirates of Charleston is a fantastic activity for children and families. My three grandchildren, ages 9, 6, and 4, had so much fun! The pirate crew goes to great lengths to keep the activities exciting, and even kids with short attention spans have no problem remaining engaged. My three are already asking to go again!

From meeting the Captain- Arrggg- and getting pirate names to shooting water cannons at Sneaky Pete , this was an hour of hands on, fun packed activities on a pirate ship! The pirates kept the kids busy the entire trip. As a former elementary school teacher, I was so impressed with the way the pirates interacted with the kids and how organized - and fun- the whole adventure was. All of the parents, grandparents and children had a blast.

We took our 4 1/2 year old granddaughter on the pirate ship last weekend. She and the 8 other the children loved it. The entire trip was very interactive as they tried to find the treasure! We highly recommend!! They had the parents laughing and having fun while watching the kids.

My kids had the best time and it was fun for the adults too! If you’re in Charleston (or nearby - we were staying at Kiawah Island) I can’t recommend this enough.

I went with my 3 and 7 year old and it was fun from the moment we stepped out the car. Your kids are entertained from the minute they arrive. You may get a little wet but the fun is well worth it. I wouldn’t recommend for ages 13 and up but 12 and below would definitely enjoy it

These guys put on a great show, with lots of enthusiasm. The kids are continuously engaged and have a great time. The parents are kept in the background, but all seemed to enjoy watching their children. I'd say children less than 4 or 5 might be intimidated, and over age 10 or so might find this less than cool, but any child in the sweet spot will come away excited.

Very fun for the kids. The crew does a great job involving every kid and keeping them engaged the entire time. Nice shaded seating for the adults to watch. Trip advisor needs to let you know about the extra cost for pirate gear so that you can pay for that ahead of time.

What an amazing time my grandson had on the pirate cruise! The captain and crew were absolutely fantastic with the children and made sure every child was included in the fun. As a former educator, I definitely appreciate it when activities are both fun and fast paced for small children. There was never a dull moment aboard the ship. I highly recommend this for children 3-8.

I have never left a bad review for literally anything before in my life, but our experience today was just so disappointing. We celebrated our six year old son’s birthday on the pirate ship today, paying for three adults and nine children, with pirate swag included for each child. Before our scheduled cruise date, I called the number listed on the Pirates of Charleston website ahead of time to let them know that we were coming to celebrate a birthday and confirm that we could bring pizza, lemonade and cake on board for our party guests. The representative I spoke to said that it would be fine to bring all of our food onboard the cruise for our guests. However when we arrived, the “main pirate” checking people in told us that we could not bring any food on board. I explained that we had already confirmed with their company that we were coming to celebrate my son’s birthday and would be able to bring food onboard to celebrate with our party guests. He said “we didn’t talk to the right people” and reiterated that we could not bring our food or cake onboard for our guests. He did not apologize for the mix up. There was nowhere to eat the food we had brought or serve the cake we are purchased so our guests left without the lunch we had promised them and my son was unable to have cake for his birthday party. We are incredibly disappointed that we spent so much money with this company and this was the result with no apology offered. We contacted the company immediately after the cruise (by email this time) and the person I corresponded with offered no apologies besides “sorry for the pizza onboard delivery problem however . . .” And then went on to reiterate we were in the wrong for expecting something we had been promised by representatives from their own company. Had the company representative I spoke to when I called to confirm our details let me know about their policies, we would have not run into this issue and could have made different arrangements for cake and lunch given enough time to plan ahead. The way this was handled by the company was just so upsetting. The company needs to inform their answering service of their policies to prevent disappointments like this from happening in the future.
