The teaching lessons my granddaughters walked away with. Math, History and reading. My 4 year old granddaughter practiced her numbers while reading the gold dots & punching the numbers in her device. My oldest granddaughter who is 7 years old and a history buffed, learned a lot about pirates and about the 1900 storm. She also learned how to figure out a persons life span. My husband enjoyed it a lot. The workers were super friendly and helpful!!

This is a really fun attraction to enjoy with your family. The scape room was awesome, try to follow the clues, open the locks was a very nice experience.

Well organized simple excursion with a lot of details discussing pirate history. I liked the hand-held speaker narration of many aspects of pirate life and history.

If you are fascinated with pirates this is a neat place to go. It's uniquely designed like a pirate ship. I have been to Galveston many times and have heard of John Lafitte, This museum gives you the whole story of his encounters with Galveston, I highly recommend.

Pirates Legends of the Gulf Coast is a fantastic way to learn the history of the pirates in Galveston back in the day. I was amazed at how many there were here and famous ones too. It's a self paced learning experience and kind of a treasure hunt too. The building and effects are amazing. Do this you won't regret it

Took the family to view the Pirates exhibit last weekend. Awesome experience! Nothing super spooky, so my kids enjoyed it. Might be too much for really small kids, though. Definitely recommended!

My family and I went through the Pirate Museum and learned a lot about the pirates that once roamed the bay of Galveston it was pretty neat. My niece shot off the cannons and even learned how to tie a few knots. You could go in there knowing nothing about pirates and become pretty educated on them I would definitely recommend it if you're in Galveston!

My family and I recently visited the pirate museum and had an absolute blast! We learned about Jean Lafitte and the pirate legends of the Gulf of Mexico through the museum's fascinating exhibits. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, answering all of our questions and making the experience even more enjoyable. One of the highlights for our kids was the scavenger hunt, which was both educational and fun. They loved searching for clues throughout the museum and were thrilled when they won a prize at the end. And speaking of thrills, the realistic cannon firing experience was unforgettable! It was so exciting to see and hear the cannon go off, and it really brought the pirate history to life. Overall, we had a fantastic time at the pirate museum and would definitely recommend it to anyone with kids or grandkids looking for a fun and educational experience. The combination of history, interactive exhibits, and friendly staff made for a truly memorable visit. We can't wait to go back!
