Morning Hot Air Balloon Flight Over Phoenix

I was planning a girls trip to Phoenix, and in my research I stumbled on hot air balloon rides. Not one for any type of air adventures as I have a nervous tummy I almost dismissed the idea. After some googling about death rates & whether or not I would need a Dramamine, my curiosity won out. It also did t hurt that there was a promise of a champagne breakfast at the end. As a true foodie & sucker for brunch I was intrigued. We arrived at the air field at our designated time, after a quick check in we traveled 30 minutes by van to an open field where we we able to take lots of photos as the sun was rising and watched the magic of the balloons inflating. The most difficult part of the experience was climbing into the actual basket, and then we were off… up, up and away! It was like floating on a cloud. Smooth, serene, and breathtaking views. 10/10 would totally do it again. The crew & captain were so much fun & professional.

I was celebrating my anniversary and had an awesome time. The pilot was easy to talk too and all the support staff was great as well. No complaints at all.

The staff was friendly and nice. It was a great experience for selecting the first option google pulled up. Will use again for next visit

Our ride in January 24 was great! The captain and crew chief were both interesting, humorous and informative. The flight was safe and not nearly as cold as I expected. I don't know how they landed precisely on the spot. Our flight was followed by a champagne breakfast that was surprisingly tasty and offered plenty of champagne.

Breathtaking Incredible Experience!!!! NOT scary at all. It's as smooth as standing in your kitchen. Watching the set up and packing away were so much fun as well. The staff was amazing. The food was not only hot (it was a cool morning) but it tasked super yummy. Table Cloth, Champagne, Great Service! This was more than we could have imagined!!

It was a great experience, the bad thing was that they took a long time to start the balloon and we couldn't appreciate the sunrise.

The flight was memorable enough but the crew went above and beyond to make everyone's experience unique and special. Highly recommend.

Breathtaking adventure with a friendly, safe and talented crew! Enjoyed every moment with Casey, our pilot, who exuded skill and experience. Champagne brunch was a nice finale to the experience.

Absolutely amazing! Our entire ‘crew’ was awesome! Gary transported us to our launch site and Mike, our pilot, took us up for the ride of a lifetime! We had 10 in our basket and everyone had a ball - celebrated a birthday and 2 anniversaries! The 🥂 toast & balloon prayer followed by a yummy quiche, fruit, cheese & croissant was a perfect ending! Thank you, thank you! I’ll be back next year ☀️🌵😎

It was an amazing experience. We saw the sunrise in Phoenix, it is beautiful. The crew, the captain, all the organization of the experience is perfect. And the gourmet brunch after landing is the perfect final to wrap up the experience.

Pilot was great. Crew was efficient, friendly, and prompt. The crew was very experienced driven to ensure everyone had a good time. Would surely recommend this group over others in the area.

This was our inaugural ballon ride. First, my wife doesn’t like heights and doesn’t like thrill rides but she agreed to go on this with me. SHE LOVED IT and so did I. It was like nothing we had ever experienced. It like floating. It was 40 degrees this morning and pretty cool on the ground but once in the air it was wonderful. The views and the feeling are amazing. The ground crew and flight crew were awesome. They took great care of us from the time we walked up until we were delivered back to our car. They explained everything that was going to happen, while it was happening and why it was happening. Exactly what to do, not to do, what to expect from them and what was expected of us. They made you feel safe and excited. Our pilot was amazing, he was very knowledgeable and explained everything from how to fly, what he was doing and history of ballooning. It is amazing how he controlled the ballon using the winds at different heights. But best of all a great entertainer. He was hilarious. The hour flight was over before you knew it. On the ground we were treated to a great breakfast. The Veggie Quiche was amazing. I didn’t know it was veggie until we were driving back. It was accompanied with cheese, fruit, croissant and drink of your choice. It was a great ending to the early morning Thank You HOT AIR EXPEDITIONS for a great time and memory

We had an amazing time! It was really cool to watch them set up the hot air balloon and learn a bit of the history behind it. Our pilot was jonathon and he was fantastic! Lots of fun, I would recommend it to everyone!

The whole experience was worth every penny, the views down to the breakfast n the desert! Loved every part of it!

Staff were on time, kind, professional, and safe. It was a fun experience with a group of friends. They put us all in the same basket as we requested even though we each booked separately. Communication was excellent.

This was an excursion for our friends reunion trip / party of 8. Six rode in the balloon, 2 rode chase van. It was a “bucket list” item for several of us. What a phenomenal experience! Memorable ride, memorable time with friends!

Peaceful, beautiful. Our captain was Morgan and he was an excellent pilot. Went with a group of fire s, 2 rode in the chase van and also enjoyed the experience.

It was the most amazing experience! The crew was super friendly, it's nice and early so that is really important! Made sure to keep us entertained and informed. The views were to die for! The landing was my absolute favorite part lol be prepared for anything to happen but DEFINITELY worth it! It's not even that scary! It's just breathtaking. Recalibration at its finest. Oh and but the glass! I didn't, I'm home now and really wish I did lol. Just means I have to go back!

We were educated and treated very well on our flight. Pilot Mike was great to fly with. The flight was very smooth. And the champagne brunch was wonderful.

This was a 10/10 experience. Captain Morghan was great. Once in a lifetime opportunity! The company was very professional and assisted with rescheduling out take off due to weather issues. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely fly with them again.

I highly recommend this experience! The staff were very friendly and fun! Everything was perfect! The amount of people in the basket might’ve been a little intimidating at first, but I felt safe the whole time.

Crew appeared confused and not able to operate equipment properly. The flight was really short and only traversed suburban areas, highway, and a construction site. One pilot appeared to maneuver ridiculously close to power lines. Next time I won’t book a trip from Glendale and will look for a launch site further out of town and a crew that is better managed and more professional.

Seeing the sunrise was an amazing experience. Highly recommend this adventure! The crew was awesome and looking forward to coming back.

This is always been a desire of my wife and I to take a balloon ride. I was able to surprise her with this ride. According to her the views were spectacular! The captain, and all the staff were incredibly friendly, professional, And knowledgeable. Everything was first class! The champagne breakfast in the desert was the icing on the cake. The crew was very professional , quick and very friendly . We flew over Tucson, Arizona. Our captain, Jonathan , was one of a kind. Funny, with sarcasm , very knowledgeable and entertaining . Best experience .

What an experience - from the van ride to the lift off area to the last second when we returned to the CAP area. Very lovely champagne breakfast in the desert and especially the cake for 80th birthday. A very congenial group - all willing to help each other in and out (when needed) of the balloon. Pilot was excellent and willing to share his knowledge of the balloon and geography of the area. Crew was positive and happy in their work to make it a great time for each of the guests.

Captain Morgan was an excellent pilot that shared a lot of fun info during our flight. The food was also a nice touch after the ride and everyone else on the crew, including our shuttle driver, was very friendly and professional. Our family had a great time and we highly recommend taking a flight!
