Our guide, Natalie, was so enthusiastic and fun. We were picked up from our airbnb and were driven to the local market, where we spent about an hour and a half walking around tasting and learning about local fruits. Our chef, Joseph, walked through the market and bought all of the ingredients for our meals. We took a bus back to the office, where we cooked our meals. We got a choice of three appetizers and three entrees. Our group chose ceviche and lomo saltado. It was so interactive and fun. Natalie and Joseph were very knowledgeable about the food and cooking techniques. This was one of the highlights of our trip and I highly recommend it to people interested in Peruvian cooking!

I arrived a day earlier than my family and booked this last minute, I’m so grateful that I did!! This cooking class was my favorite part of Lima, they brought me to the market to pick out the fresh food and then back to the spot to cook. We made Causa and Lomo Saltado, and had a bunch of potatoes and fruits along the way. It was a great way to try a taste of Peru and the chef and guides were so so kind. 10/10 would recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Going to the market to look at local produce, doing some shopping and cooking together. Very professional class and having a good rapport with the other cooks really made this fun. I strongly recommend!

The whole trip was so well organised logistally & everyone so friendly👌 From the driver & guide (Leonardo) that picked us up & then the driver that dropped us back to the hotel, the insightful visit to the market and then the cooking class, all a wonderful & memorable experience 🥰 The chef, assistant & guide involved in the cooking class were incredible & passed on their knowledge of Peruvian cuisine. Recommended to anyone, a Lima culinary gem experience not to be missed💎

Gabi and team were wonderful! They were friendly, professional, on time, and delightful. She made an effort to get to know each person in the group. She also shared interesting information about Lima, Peru, and the foods grown in Peru. The entire team and Chef Joe were all fantastic! I will be sure to book tours again through Haku.

One of my favorite experiences in Lima. Our tour guide Cesar was phenomenal, throughout the tour we learned cool new facts about the foods we cooked with and the demonstrations were easy to understand. I personally recommend it if you are a fan of Peruvian food or cooking in general. 9.7/10

The cooking class was absolutely outstanding and the food we cooked was delicious, thanks to Cesar, Ruth and the amazing staff. The cooking class was absolutely value for money and I could definitely recommend taking this tour. We started the tour with a visit to the local market where we learned about local fruits, vegetables and other food from Cesar. During the cooking class, we made first some traditionally cooked potatoes which were very good in their own right. For the actual starter we made causa and ceviche depending on our choice. The dinner culminated in the main dish which was lomo saltado made from fish. We also got to flame the fish which was very exciting! The food we cooked ended up being the best we had in all Peru thanks to the wonderful advice and preparations by the chef Ruth and the team. We ended up having more food than we could ever possibly eat!

Come hungry! Incredible experience with great food and great guide/chef. Stefano did a fabulous job entertaining us with stories and answering questions about the food we were eating. Our chef David was funny and really made the experience memorable. Our causa limena and lomo saltado were to die for. We were stuffed by the end. There was so much food and everything was delicious!

Our tour guide, Stefano, was friendly, engaging and loved sharing his time and knowledge with us. He made the tour so much fun. Chef Ruth eagerly shared her passion for Peruvian cooking and helped us make the best meal ever. This experience exceeded my expectations. I’d recommend it to anyone!

We really enjoyed the local market tour and the explanation of the various fruits and vegetables. The Chef was friendly and patient you could tell he enjoys what he does. The flow of the tour was perfect from the pick to the drop off and the food was amazing!!!!
