The tour was perfect. Four hours worked well with a little one and the flexibility to do the things we were most interested in with suggestions from our guide was perfect. Having someone who is extremely knowledgeable about the area and the places we visited was great. Plus we were treated to some surprise local goodies along the way.

Jeff our tour guide was excellent and made sure we saw as much as possible during our time on the tour. He fast tracked us up Penang Hill and made sure we had the best seats on the funicular. He even took us on a short was back through George Town to see the street art and Armenian street and its history. Jeff is an experienced guide and looks after his group during the tour to give an overall experience of the city. He also makes sure you get back on time for your cruise.

Got to see all the major sites in the downtown area. Tomorrow is a Hindu holiday, we went to the temple area to see the pre-festival, very colorful. Our guide Goh provided us with some local fruit and tea snacks. We enjoyed our 4 hr tour, Goh provided details for each site we visited and Penang history.

Our tour guide handsome Eddie was over the top fun. He got us and hit the line for the mountain train ride Told us a lot of history about the Chinese if you book a tour get this guy he is phenomenal

We were so glad we chose this activity. It was made even more special due to our guide Eng Choon Wooi. ( From Active dynamic travel and tours). He is a very nice and funny guy , full of humour and friendly gestures. He showed us some beautiful places on this beautiful town, shared so much information about each of sites we visited. He made us skip the serpentine line to board the funicular that would take us to Penang hill. The ticket was expensive but made sense since we got priority boarding.

We did a 4 hour tour of George Town's UNESCO World Heritage area led by Josh Lim. Josh's knowledge was impressive and engaging and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

All the sites we visited were memorable and our guide was very good at explaining all the historical and cultural context

A good outline of Georgetown, however a bit rushed I thought, would have been better to have slowed it down, perhaps supply water, it was very hot and maybe allow time for photos and reflection.

Have 3 or 4 things you really want to see & you’re off. I chose Penang Hill - with the Funicular train ride. Need a clear day for this. And some general sights around George Town, including Chew Jetty. The architecture is stunning but the surprise highlight for me was the street art. It’s amazing! Thanks to tour guide Ching for going the extra mile & giving me some invaluable Penang tips. 4 hours well spent…

We had a fantastic afternoon exploring Penang with Jeff as our guide and driver. We visited reclining Buddha, Burmese temple, Penang Hill (get the fast lane tickets 🎫!), a mountain overpass to view the ‘other side’ of the island and Batu Ferringhi. Jeff treated us to some deep fried radish cake which was DELICIOUS! He is the ultimate professional, friendly, knowledgeable and reliable.

Our tour guide Jeff was fantastic. He made sure we saw the best views and didn't miss any important highlights. He helped us see so much in a short time. He was fun and caring with lots of knowledge and a sense of humor. The habitat was super cool, more than I expected. And the temple gorgeous and interesting.

Our tour guide was James Ling and he was great. He contacted us beforehand to ensure that we'd meet at an agreed place. From the outset James was very affable and put us at our ease immediately. The tour itself was very interesting and James was practical, assisting us with ticketing where necessary. He added his local and historical knowledge to the tour which helped add depth to what we were seeing. He also took some photos of us with his camera along the way and made them available to us later which was a great additional no-cost feature of the tour. James was also flexible regarding how we'd prefer to utilise our time during the tour. All up, an excellent experience.

Lester, our guide was friendly and knowledgeable , helping with photo taking too. Brought us around Penang Hill and drove through the streets of Georgetown pointing out all the interesting sites ending our tour at the Michelin bib rated Green House prawn noodles. Yum Yum!

My staff was very disappointed. The itinerary was to see: Penang Hill Kek Lok Si Temple Pinang Peranakan Mansion Street Art in George Town I requested that the 'Street Art' be deleted and substituted for the Reclining Buddha Wat Chaiyamangalaram and to drive past other destinations of interest with some narrative. The guide did NOT take my staff to the Pinang Peranakan Mansion or the Reclining Buddha. The guide said he did not have time. For me, he was just LAZY and let my staff stay too long at the Penang Hill

The tour guide is professional and well manage the schedule plan. Enjoyed the 4 hour tour with my own path. Highly recommended.

Great tour, flexible as you can request for what you want/don’t want. Josh our tour guide was knowledgable, most importantly passionate about history, patient and friendly. He even extended our trip by an additional hour because we were behind and to ensure that we get the value from our tour. We had a wonderful experience.

I picked the flexible 1/2 day tour and had the great luck of getting Ms PC Goh to be my driver and guide. She was amazing. She asked a lot of questions to tailor the day to my interests snd was extremely thoughtful. She would go ahead to get the best seats on the funiclair to save for me ( as guides don’t have to wait in the same que) she had brought water for me, ran to get umbrella at the 1st sign of rain. She was just so thoughtful!!! She introduced me to a biscuit shop when looking for Chinese biscuits and took me to a few street art paintings I had missed. My favorite part of the day, we went for cendol and laksa at a good hawker stand! It was so good! She really is a great guide and gave me a lot of history and info about Malaysia and I feel lucky to have spent a 1/2 day with her!!

Lester our tour guide was very friendly, accommodating & knowledgeable which made this trip to Penang Hill stressless & enjoyable. We would not have been aware of all the areas to visit without Lester, he was also our personal photographer for the day taking photos from all the right places, so would definitely recommend this trip.

This was an exceptionally good tour! Lester our tour guide was amazing, very flexible, and very knowledgeable! Would highly recommend Rainbow Skywalk at the Top! Try if possible to a avoid booking on a weekend, as the traffic is bad in Penang, but Lester navigated us through it very well! However as it is a half day tour, you want to cram as much in as possible, hence week day is more preferable! We still managed 1. Kek Lok Si Temple 2. George Town (little India, & China Town, street art) 3. Rainbow Skywalk at the Top Overall would highly recommend this tour! It definitely worth the money!
