This was the perfect choice to take my mother-in-law on. Great for people who can only walk short distances, and if you plan ahead, Chris has a wheelchair he will bring for you. A lot of good information and able to get close without all the hassle of the hundreds of busses pushing for the same space. Worth every dollar and some.

We were 3 guests from Europe visiting Whasington DC and USA for the fisrt time. Since one of us are an old lady we could not rent a bike tour or do a walking tour. Then it was just perfect to take the pedicab tour with Cris. We felt safe wiht him traveling along the streets before we came to the Mall. He took god care of us and told a lot of enteresting stories on our sightseeing tour. Unfortunately there were demonstrations going on and a lot of police - so we were not allowed close to some of the places we wanted to see. But all the knowledges Cris knew and told us, made the trip interesting and we learned a lot.

Chris was very polite and knew so much about the sites we visited. I’m a history buff so he provided a lot of very good information which was easy to understand. He allowed us time to stop for some fast food too. I highly recommend Chris and this tour.

My husband and I thought we were familiar with the DC monuments but Chris surprised us. He has some really amazing historical facts as he gave us a great tour. Also the Awning is great protection sun and rain While peddling is around .. It’s worth every penny.

My daughter and I booked a pedicab tour. It was the highlight of our trip! The tour guide Chris was knowledgeable of the monuments as well as funny and personable. If I come back to D.C. I will 100% book this again. It allows you to view more things in a day and avoid walking too much as the summer heat is no joke.

We had a great Time with Chris this morning on our pedi cab tour. He picked us up and delivered us back to our hotel just as we asked. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating for our family and our two corgis. Everybody loved it. Can’t wait to do it again sometime. 5 stars plus!

We had a great experience with Chris going around the main monuments in this very US pedicab style. Chris outfit is great and improves the experience by making us feeling we are in a historical moment in the US. He had good equipment for the people to listen at the back of the pedicab. Part of my family didn't speak English but he was very kind and patient while others translate. He brought water for all and took great pictures. It was a super nice experience. His kindness and professionalism make this unique. I reality recommend him.

Found Chris with Wheel the People last minute for a day trip to DC with my son. Excellent way to avoid the heat while learning and seeing the most in DC. Chris was extremely flexible and responsive, insightful in his tutorial around the Mall. Chris provided a custom tour to accommodate the interests of both my 9 year old and me. WOW.. this tour was simply INCREDIBLE. My girlfriend and I were in town for a couple days and found some time to make it to the national mall and we’re lucky to schedule time for a tour with Chris at Wheel the People. We have enjoyed the Wheel the People tour twice now, and it is very unique way of seeing the DC sights. We were able to see so many monuments this way - much more than if we had walked all day. Chris is flexible about pick up and drop off points, and he can customize your tour for you depending on what you would like to see. Chris was also able to accommodate 5 of us with 2 pedicabs. We were comfortable no matter the weather - cold? Chris will provide a blanket. Rain? Chris provides umbrellas and a rain canopy. Too sunny? Chris will put the canopy up. Highly recommend this tour next time you are in DC.

My Mom and I only had a short time in Washington DC and wanted to see as much as we possibly could. I booked Wheel the people pedicab tour of Washington DC and Chris was our guide. He was amazing! My Mom was unable to walk long distances and by taking the pedicab we were able to see so many of the monuments a lot closer than the regular hop on hop off tours. Chris was able to answer any question we had about random buildings we were passing and took us to some monuments I didn’t even know about. It will be more expensive than your regular tour, but the personalized aspect and closer access made it worth it. We were able to see Marine One taking off from the White House too! Chris was even able to take us by the Cdn embassy and found a souvenir store for us to end with! I highly recommend Chris if you’re looking for a pedicab tour in Washington DC.

Not only did he take time out of his day to accommodate general questions, he pointed us toward a very special event--the White House Garden tour--that we would have otherwise missed.
