Maria was a fantastic guide. She was very knowledgeable of the city and where to go for the beat tastings. We had so much food! We also experienced the subway and tram system. The final dinner was delicious and very enjoyable.

Getting to know Maria and her knowledge of the foods and the city. She filled us up with many different wonderful delights, as well as, traveled with us to many different parts of the city on the tram and subway.

I recommend doing this on your first day as it’s a great way to learn about getting around town and the metro system. Marie was very nice and helpful with recommendations for places to eat and things to do around town. Some of the desserts were hit or miss; however I think that was more based on personal preference and taste. The meal on the last stop was very good, we had the wiener schnitzel, “Mac n cheese” and stuffed cabbage. You will not leave hungry. It is a lot of walking with stairs, train, and tram rides FYI.

This was an amazing tour as we were taken to other areas of Vienna that were not widely known by tourists, and we were taken to local restaurants that provided delicious and amazing desserts. Highly recommended !

This tour was so tasty and fun! I was so impressed by the thought and care that went into each destination. The guide highlighted local long-time respected establishments (even his childhood haunts). I appreciated that he featured a couple that had a social good--like hiring the grandmas to bake their specialties. I loved getting out into some of the other neighborhoods beyond the Center. The guide was warm and friendly and provided useful insights into the city. This is definitely the highlight of my trip so far in Vienna.

I would highly recommend this tour! Everything is amazing and exceeded my expectations. Our guide Patrick was super friendly and took us to many local bakeries and restaurants that I would never be able to find by myself. A few of the bakeries he took us to have a great mission which is another thing that made this experience meaningful to me. It was A LOT of food and drinks so please come without lunch! Patrick made it a reasonable tour in that he made sure to let us walk and take the metros in between tastings. This was not only a food tour but also a city tour where I learnt many interesting facts about Vienna.

Maria was an extraordinary guide. By the end our small group felt like family and friends. Very efficient way to try wide variety of Austrian specialties as well as get outside of the tourist center. Highly recommend.

Excellent tour with an exceptional guide. Maria made this a very special event. She is very friendly, super knowledgeable and great fun! She made this tour memorable and we hope to have her as a guide on some of the other tours she runs on our next visit. We would even do this tour again because of her. She took us to great places and the sweets and other food was outstanding. Again, this was an exceptional experience and we highly recommend it and Maria as a guide!

We loved our tour especially Maria our tour guide. We saw places we would have never gone to and liked having to jump on public transportation. Maria was knowledgeable and friendly and always smiling. We loved the vibe of our group. We ended the tour with a savory dish which was much appreciated and no dinner necessary after all the tastings.

We did the dessert tour in Vienna. Maria was great! She explained the tour and warned us to pace ourselves ( for us, it was a lot of food). She shared tips on visiting Vienna and helped us with things we were interested in doing. The food and drinks were yummy and the dinner at the end was wonderful! Would definitely recommend

This was a really fun tour and a great way to experience Vienna. Maria was our guide and she planned a very fun evening for us. We enjoyed a cafe in the first district and then ice cream in the tenth. Then she took us to an adorable place in the fourth district that was cozy and welcoming. After that, we saw the market and a chocolate shop in the sixth. We ended the evening with a traditional Viennese meal in the fifth district. I would recommend this tour if you want to see more than the imperial places in Vienna.

We went on the evening pastry tour with Maria, and it was truly amazing. Maria's knowledge of Austrian cuisine is excellent + she is a genuinely nice person. We thought it was great value for money, we ate even more than what was described! We found out about Vienna's cafe concepts and culture, we would otherwise never have known. I would give 10 stars if I could, we will always remember it 🍰🍰🍰

The Tour was an absolute pleasure! And Maria was so nice and told us a lot about Viennas Coffee House Culture. We highly recommend this Tour if you want to see places, tourists usually don't go. And try to get Maria as your Guide. Our Tour started in the late afternoon and our recommendation: Skip Lunch! ;-) You'll enjoy so much delicious food during the tour.

This seemed an odd tour somehow. I enjoyed it but it seemed a little confused. Firstly the time it started. 16.30 seems more like the time for an aperitivo than dinner. We started off by taking the metro, which I wasn’t expecting. Presumably I missed that in the preamble when booking? Our first stop was at a cafe which had a fairly formal 1930 ‘s feel to it with waiters in bow ties and dinner suits where we were each given a plate with a selection of cakes and an Austrian specialist coffee. Maybe it is just me but if a plate is put in front of me I tend to eat everything on it which meant I ate a lot of very sweet things at the start of the tour. Personally I would have preferred shared plates where I could select which cakes I wanted to try. Our next stop was the chocolate shop in the market. I really liked the chocolate shop but I could have happily spent more time ambling through the market looking at the produce there. Next we visited a cafe which employed old people including a “local character”. I thought this worked much better since we sat around a circular table and could help ourselves to as much or as little of the sponge cake as we wanted. Our final stop was at a beer cellar which for me was the best part of the tour. The atmosphere of our group became more relaxed and I felt the savoury food was great. However by this point after all the cake and chocolate I really couldn’t eat a lot of it. Maybe it was just our group but despite Maria’s best efforts conversation seemed stilted. I couldn’t help thinking the tour would have been better if we had gone for the relaxed atmosphere of the beer cellar first. It would also be more normal to take savoury food first and then moved onto to the desserts. Overall, I enjoyed the tour, I certainly ate too much but was left with the feeling that the tour couldn’t make up its mind if the focus was an afternoon tea (as its name suggests) or an early dinner (as it finished up).

Our tour guide was Maria and she was exceptional as a guide. Maria was kind, intelligent, and thoughtful. She made sure that everyone was taken care of and kept the tour at a good pace to accommodate the entire group. Be prepared to eat. There are four main stops to eat and the food is excellent. You will have the opportunity to eat a variety of pastries, chocolate, coffee, wine, beer, cakes, goulash, schnitzel etc. You get to visit various districts to see all areas of the city and to eat like the locals. Our group was highly impressed and this is a must to explore the food options of the Viennese people.
