I had a personal one on one tour guide of the museum with skipping the line and getting to experience some quieter areas of the museum as well which was nice. Your tour guide speaks fluent English in my case and was very knowledgeable as I learned lots of new aspects of culture and history I did not know previously.

This was a great tour! By passing a line is always nice. But the reason it was so special is this. Stephanie our guide asked what was the “must see” overall. Then we did that first. After we’re major draws. Not only did she give us the history, but the reasons at that time causing it to happen. Finally “hidden gems” never expected to find. All questions and comments were welcome. Stephanie covered so much without ever making us feel rushed. Excellent!

My experience with Get Your Guide was very good during my visit to Paris. Their offerings were broad and diverse and their descriptions accurate and detailed. My particular tour at the Louvre was exceptional! My guide, Boris was incredibly well versed in all things art, religion, architecture, history and the museum in general. It was as if I had the most elaborate behind the scenes tour imaginable. Boris also went out of his way to correct a mistake with the general booking and made it right on the spot. I learned (re-learned) more than I ever did in all my art history classes in college in the two hours I was with him. Even despite the crushing crowds and noise in a few of the rooms (Mona Lisa) Boris made it feel as if we were the only two in the museum. I'd give him 10 out 5 stars if I could. And I will seek him out for any future tours he may offer. His tour(s) were one of the absolute highlights of my trip. Highly recommended!
