Fabrizio is a wonderful Tour Guide complete with much historical stories, wonderful delivery, great sense of humour and generally a very, very nice guy!.

Despite torrential rain, Fabricio warmly welcomed us to Palermo. Brilliant balance between history and street food served up on an exuberant bed of fascinating facts and stories, well seasoned with humour.

Our guide Fabrizio was great, knowledgeable, full of information about Palermo and its history. We walked about 3 hours including the Carini Gate and the Capo Market and tasted some of the local specialties: potato croquetas, chickpea pancakes, and rice balls. The tour ended at the Palermo Cathedral. It was a very and tasty way to get to know a bit of Palermo.

Really enjoyed this tour! We had been in Palermo for a couple days and this was a nice great add-on to ensure we didn’t miss anything. Fabrizio was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He also gave some great restaurant recommendations for the remainder of our time in Palermo. Grazie, Fabrizio!

The guide was excellent- very personable and a good storyteller. Lots of fun. The only reason I gave this tour 4* instead 5 is that I thought it would be more focused on the food. It was really an historical walking tour with some food included. The food part was excellent, and if I hadn't already done a historical walking tour of Palermo two years ago, I might have been more interested in the history...but I had already done that, so I was looking for something more food-focused. The only thing I would suggest is that at the end, our guide was kind enough to take my family and me over to the section of the city where they do all the grilled meats- she ordered for us before going home (these were definitely locals we were with!) She did not have to do this for us, so we were very grateful, but it would have been great if the tour ended here, giving us the option to try some of the BBQ meats (at our expense), which were delicious!

This is a first class tour. Fabrizio is a knowledgeable and generous guide, remembers names, is flexible with the situation and delivers appropriate information, a bit like your favourite teacher! Hard to imagine how he maintains enthusiasm doing this daily, but he does. It was a mixed group of 12 & we were lead through one of the city’s food markets & past monuments to the cathedral, tasting 6 types of street food. A coeliac amongst us was accommodated and the samples were generous. Great value for 3.5hrs, would thoroughly recommend.

This food and walking tour was the highlight of our holiday in Palermo. Thank you Fabrizio, for being such a knowledgable and good humoured guide. The information was great, the food was amazing. We’re vegetarians and were able to enjoy everything along with meat-eaters. We definitely recommend this tour.

This was a very fun and informative tour. The guide is a Palermo local and knows all about the area and is able to give commentary during the tour. The tour stops at a few key areas and takes you through one of the main markets. Overall a great experience.
