I qualified as an Advanced Open Water Diver back in 2001 with my wife so we always knew when we had our son as soon as he was old enough we wanted to give him the opportunity. Why is it important to share this? Well when you are trusting a team with your only child it has to be the right choice and a great team. The full team at Blue Water didn’t let us down in anyway they were nothing short of amazing. My son qualified for his Junior open water and we will be back in October when he turns 12 to do his Junior advanced. If you are brand new, fully qualified and really experienced or wanting to get your kids to try a lifelong skill then do not hesitate to contact Kate & Chris at Bluewater their knowledge, the team they have created and the warm welcome they give everyone is exceptional. Having been lucky enough to dive all over the world I have to say this is the best Dive club by far. Special mention to Eileen, Giles and Kate who trained and were buddies with my son. They have given him the bug (have to say I’m delighted) and he wanted me to pass on his thanks he loves you all. Steph who myself and my wife went diving with was superb and an awesome professional. Last mention (this is really bad of me) to the Scottish chap who was on holiday who took us on another dive with the Blue Water team he was excellent. Again the reason for mentioning is that he trained with Blue Water and goes back all the time to spend time with the team which just says everything. So how do I sum up the experience, 5 star you will struggle to find a better team to dive with.

My son and I had a fantastic experience with Chris, Kate, and the team at Blue Water. It was our first time diving and Chris, Guillem and Giles made us feel safe and prepared for every part of the course as well as taking us on 4 amazing and memorable dives to start our scuba diving lives. My son is 13 and Chris and Giles were so patient with him but firm on the importance of the skills we needed to stay safe under the water and to pass the course. I look forward to diving again with Blue Water and can recommend them wholeheartedly.

Amazing experience with beautiful diving sites! I took the Open Water course with no diving or snorkeling experience, and I am glad I took the course at Blue Water Diving. Kate and Chris are highly professional, supportive, super friendly, and fun! In the beginning, I had trouble with equalizing my ears, but Kate encouraged me and made me always feel safe and well looked after. Thanks to her and her team I was able to finish the course successfully despite my initial difficulties with equalization. They were kind and patient but also serious and supportive when needed, which made it the perfect learning experience. Both Kate and Chris are incredible teachers, and it was an honor to learn from them. They were able to pay attention to each person's individual needs and make it an amazing diving experience for everyone. The balance between fun and learning was excellent. Even while driving to the diving sites spending time with the Blue Water Diving team was super fun!!! It’s a great bunch of people with highly trained interns who were very attentive and professional. A special thanks to my dive buddy Leonie who is an incredible diver and teacher as well. Her passion for diving was truly inspiring. I spent some more time with the team after diving, and it was so much fun and an absolute pleasure to meet every single one of You!!!! Thank you so much for this incredible time and experience. Anyone thinking about scuba diving should book Blue Water Diving. You’ll be in great hands!

Highly recommend Kate and Chris for the open water course. My wife and I took this course with them and will be using bluewater diving for our next course. Kate was super helpful and friendly when we booked. Chris is an extremely professional instructor and his attention to detail was superb. Felt safe at all times and every exercise was explained very clearly. The balance between fun and learning was perfect. (And we had a lot of fun! ) All the dive masters and instructors were attentive and really nice guys. We passed our course and immediately booked another couple of guided dives with them. A superb team altogether.

Chris, Kate and their team is both friendly and professional. We did the PADI open water course and followed it up with 2 dives. You’re in good hands with Bluewater Diving, I would recommend them to anyone.

Had an excellent time with Chris and Zara were brilliant patient instructors you feel safe in their hands and your confidence builds through the course along with your skills. Any queries you have are easily rectified and explained clearly. Kate was helpful with the admin and is happy to help. You get an online link to the training, but if you down the padi app this works better than in a Web browser. Saw lots of sealife I was lucky saw a sting ray, Eagle ray, sea horse and puffer fish to name a few. Really excellent course can't rate these guys highly enough thank you.

Can’t rate Blue Water Diving any higher. The team here are absolutely excellent and provide not only a top notch dive experience, but also a high quality of care and laughs along the way. Would be my recommended dive shop across the whole of Europe for anything from first dives to experienced divers.

I had such an incredible experience completing my Open Water certification at Blue Water Diving, Kate & Chris and the whole team were both friendly and professional, and always patient during the trainings. I was able to experience both shore and boat dives during the course and made some memories I will never forget! 100% recommend Blue Water Diving for anything diving related! They are so professional with everything! I got my open water certification and had Chris as instructor. He took care of me, guided me and taught me everything. I felt safe and secure all the time. It was an amazing experience and I am so happy I got this experience with Blue Water Diving and their team! Blue water diving was an excellent place to complete my open water diving course. The staff was awesome and the scheduling for further dives was very flexible. A lot of cool sites were explored during my stay. Definitely recommend.

Booked a beginners dive for myself & three others. Kate & Chris were absolutely brilliant from booking process right up until after the dive. We emailed a couple of days before to add on a person to the dive and this was no hassle at all. Both were extremely patient and great with explaining what to do when diving. Safety was clearly a key priority. It was an amazing experience to see some great marine life. I will definitely be back next year to do my open water cert.

Fantastic experience, Absolutely loved it! Incredible people and my diving instructor Keko, made my first time with diving very safe, fun and understanding. Kate, Chris and the amazing interns all help me a lot, and now I feel ready to go out into the world, and continue my diving education safely.
