We discovered Dive UK Hurghada and Steve through Facebook. As already qualified divers, we were looking for a reputable dive shop in the Red Sea for our daughter who is 14 to get her Advanced Open Water cert. We couldn’t have been more happy with the service, communication and interaction that we got from Steve before and during our stay, and with Wassam who led a lot of our dives. I would recommend Dive UK Hurghada to anyone wanting a first class experience. Steve loves his work and makes sure everyone has the best experience possible. Yes, you may get cheaper, but you may not have the same experience or the peace of mind knowing your child is in as such safe hands when she is diving alone completing her PADI AOW. The dive boats that Steve selects are spacious with attentive crew, limited numbers and good food provided. The experience is second to none. I enjoyed every single moment from being picked up from our hotel to being being dropped off at the end of 2 or 3 amazing dives with the most passionate and experienced team. They made our daughter fall back in love with diving, and for me, I arrived as someone who liked diving but left as a diver! We can’t wait to come back. Thanks Steve and Wassam, see you soon!

DIVEUKHurghada Had the best week of my life, learning and diving in Hurghada with an English instructor. I was planning on doing the Open Water course and two days of fun diving, but the course was so fun and informative I decided to do my Advanced Open Water straight after. The first day of my advanced open water we practiced things like underwater navigation skills and fish identification. Then we refined these skills and dived the fascinating Excalibur wreck 21m below. Then on the second day we did 2 dives from a lovely boat, with lunch in between them, all included in the course. Before I came to Hurghada I had looked around many dive centres before finding Steve, and all of them provided me with misinformation and hidden costs. If you are learning to dive in Hurghada, or are already an experienced diver, go with Steve at DiveUK. You will not be disappointed.

Open water & advanced open water course. Came on my own as a solo woman and was paired up with another Brit who was doing the same. Felt safe and well looked after from the resort to the dive site and back. Steve and Maged were great, very professional and took their time with me. I was pretty nervous as I'm a bit claustrophobic, hate getting water in my eyes, and usually struggle breathing through my mouth (nightmare customer) but after the first couple of dives I started to feel comfortable and really enjoyed myself. In the advanced course we did a wreck and two days from the boat visiting some coral reefs. On our dive Steve also got some snaps of us underwater which left us with some great memories. Beautiful experience x

Great trip with Steve and Emma in Egypt. We spent a couple of days diving and loved every minute. Very friendly and professional.

I booked a week of diving with Steve and Emma earlier this year and loved every minute of it. The dive sights were great and Steve and Emma took very good care of my group. I also had the chance to do a deep dive cert with Steve. The instruction was very professional and competent and quite enjoyable on top of it. You can also tell that both of Emma and Steve are not only passionate about diving but also making sure that their customers have a great time. The daily diving felt more like a bunch of friends on a day out rather then an assembly line diving operation. Emma is also a great steward of the seas. After a week of diving we decided to do a bit of reef clean up on one of the shore dive sights and managed to pull around 8 bags of trash off the dive sight and despose of it properly. They really live the motto 'see the world and leave only bubbles.'

Okay where do I start? possibly from inception of the most awesome trip of my life… and for someone that is well travelled I don’t say that lightly. I was introduced to Steve’s and (DIVE Hurgada) Team by a mutual friend and my dive boss unfortunately he is no longer with us. I saw a post on Steve’s page for a live-aboard Northern Wrecks and Reefs. My gills were a little dry following covid so I asked my UK dive buddy Steve YOLO was his reply and we booked immediately.. we managed to get very reasonable flights from Luton to Hurgada by Wizz Air 32kg luggage prefect for dive gear. I recommend getting the lounge and parking deal. We arrived in Hurgada and was met by Steve’s driver who was very present and spoke very good English on route he gave us a few tips. We arrived at the boat and was greeted by the crew, who took our bags to our room. From that point it was 5* service, the full trip including some amazing food. The Diving was breathtaking my buddy has been to the Red Sea a few times he commented about the professionalism in particular dive briefings. Khalid one of 5 instructors and our dive instructor presented these which included videos and very precise information about the dive one that will be ingrained was his thistlegorm brief. I’m looking to book in 2023

Completed my Advanced PADI open water certification with Steve and Emma at Dive UK Hurghada. Great experience, the dive sites were like being in an aquarium! Steve personally picked us up from our hotel each morning which was hugely appreciated. Prepare for a bit of waiting around before the boat heads out, but the pros of getting there early are that you get the best spot on the boat and can have the pick of the rental kit if you need. Would definitely recommend and would go with Steve again if / when we go back!

I came along to Hurghada with my partner who completed his advanced diver training last year with Steve and wanted to go again. I’d only had some brief experience in diving having done a few discovery dives on holidays over the years, and with Steve’s training I managed to complete my Open Water and then going on to do my Advanced within the space of a few days. Steve’s a great teacher, really detailed and meticulous with what he teaches and is so supportive and patient with you. He takes what he does very seriously while still managing to have you in stitches even while you’re under water 🤣 Emma is also amazing and made me feel so confident when leading our dives and is really passionate about diving and sealife. Both are hilarious and really lovely people and made the 6 days of diving so enjoyable. Can’t recommend Dive UK Hurghada enough!! We also booked our trips to Luxor and Cairo through Steve which were great value for money so if you’re wanting to do a bit of everything he can sort it. Thanks so much for everything guys 🙏🏼

Had a great time diving with Steve and Emma, they both strike a great balance of being fun and great to be around but also very serious and professional when needed, I always had all the information I needed and full confidence they could handle any situation or emergency that arose I was a little worried about diving after a recent knee surgery but they looked after me extremely well and made me feel safe the whole time We also did the Cairo and Luxor trips, thoroughly recommend those as you get a great custom trip with some great guides and everything covered I loved the fact they also respected the aquatic life (unlike some other dive teams we saw) and removed any rubbish they found from the sea on almost every dive

Couldn't recommend these guys enough! We just completed our advanced open water course over the course of 3 awesome days diving with Steve and the team. Steve is a great instructor, He made sure we were at ease at all times and fully understood the dive plans and the tasks we needed to complete. His explanations and communication underwater were perfect for us as fairly new divers. We have both come away feeling like we have learned a lot and feel we have come away better divers thanks to Steve. Last but not least thanks to Dive master Emma for leading us on the fun dives in between the training, The red sea is simply amazing and we can't wait to come back. Unforgettable experience! English instructors, two one hour incredible dives each day, great food included Such a great few days on the boat. Steve was a great host so the whole thing ran really smoothly. My dive instructor Erin was probably my favourite instructor to date and the dive sites were incredible Highly reccomend!

Steve has a talent and desire to please you, as his customer. If you have any special desires or wishes, he WILL get out of his way to accommodate them. I've seen him fulfill someone else's dream of seeing turtles, he had arranged try dives for them. The face he made, was as if he had fulfilled his own dream. Your safety and safe practices is his standard and he knows his stuff, he will make sure you're safe and happy. Same goes for staff, Emma was brilliant and super helpful. She even helped me find a special coral pinnacle I was interested in.

We needed to get back into warm water diving after a 3 year gap and needed to feel safe, re-hone skills, but mostly enjoy the underwater world again. What I wasn't was just how much fun we had. We had expert guidance from Steve, Emma and the boat crew guides. Nothing was too much trouble. Any issues we had were quickly resolved. The group we were in were great and so much fun. Steve and Emma are great and up for a laugh during leisure time. The boat two-dive day is very relaxed and there is no rush to get in, or limited bottom time. Average 2 hour surface interval and excellent lunch sets you up nicely for the second dive. Small groups each dive with very knowledgeable guide and DM, gives you the best experience.

I was really nervous to dive at first because I’m a bit claustrophobic and get panicky at times but I was excited to give it a go after doing a ‘discover dive’ in the UK and where better to do so than in the Red Sea?! Having read reviews online I decided to go with Steve and DiveUkHurghada and do my PADI Open Water course in Hurghada and I’m am SOOOO glad I did!!! He is an amazing diving instructor!! Very patient, reassuring, and a good laugh too! I never felt out of my depth and the priority was always on safety. I felt in control at all time and the nerves soon disappeared! I had such an amazing time doing my open water I decided to do my PADI Advanced Open Water Course too! Emma was always happy to help with a smile on her face and a great dive buddy :-). Dives varied from off shore when learning to stepping off large boat and exploring corals and we even had a day trip to dive with turtles!! (The drive was long but SO worth it!!!) Steve is such a kind, hard working guy who is clearly passionate about diving. He emphasises the importance of safe and responsible diving whilst having fun! I could not recommend DiveUkHurghada and Steve enough!!

I completed my PADI Advanced Diver Course with Steve from DiveUKHurgarda He provided an amazing experience with an emphasis on safety conciseness allowing you to enjoy diving knowing you have been trained to the high standard he provides. Steve goes above and beyond to ensure that you will enjoy your experience when diving with him and/or his instructors. Organising and booking through him is incredibly easy and he will assist you with any additional questions you may have. Overall I highly recommend Steve at DiveUKHurgarda, you will have a phononminal experience which you will not forget.

I found Dive UK Hurghada through a Google search and after reading the website and reviews it felt like the right place for me; I'm so glad I chose it. The communication, payment and course arrangements were easy. The taxi collected us from our hotel and dropped us off each day. The course was engaging and relaxed and I felt totally at ease and confident with Steve's knowledge and experience as well as Emma's enthusiasm and support. We were able to cover all our skills and even had a bit of extra time for a fun dive where we spotted a seahorse! Overall a great experience with Dive UK Hurghada and would recommend it to anyone.

When Scuba diving abroad especially with your kids safety should be a prerequisite . Everything else is secondary. Steve and his team are a professional company. I have numerous friends who have dived with this company and rated it highly, so I decided to give it a try. I dived with a Egyptian guide Perfect English language even with my strong northern accent (IDC staff instructor, soon to be a course director) Thats the skill level of people in his team. (very good diveguide spotted things you wouldn't see yourself, they just know where everything lives and makes every dive a new discovery. There are plenty of brilliant dive sites that are available out of Hurgarda by boat I booked a 5 day diving package I travelled with my 14 year old son who is just short of the 30M depth limit (PADI advanced diver) so decided on an all - inclusive weeks holiday with a 5 day divng package (2 boat dives a day), new locations every day. It was a great experience and exceeded my expectations considering I have high expectations having done a couple of high end liveaboard holidays in the Red Sea. Steve was busy teaching but we had our own guide and Emma who was DM , she looks after all you needs on the boat or any questions or concerns you may have. I really rate this company and have no problem recommending them to anybody. Steve just doesn't look after the diving he will arrange everything for you if required , accomodation, transfers , kit, etc nothing is too much for him

Great, Friendly and patient instructor! We completed our open water course with him. Once we got certified, on our final dive we explored a wreck, took some entertaining photos and saw some awesome fish! He knows this reef really well!!

Junior advanced open water. 13 year old Son. I decided to book with Steve and Dive UK Hurghada after seeing Facebook posts and following for a while. We weren’t disappointed. From the moment my Son met Steve he felt at ease and was encouraged to ask questions. Steve was interested in the type of experience he wanted and didn’t rush any of the course, time was spent on the areas that needed it. Couldn’t recommend enough. Higher kit was in great condition, clean and well maintained. Thinking of booking another day diving just so work further on his buoyancy.
