Nothing can prepare you for this. We had the luck to be the only guests on the camp and it was great! We booked the buggy drive, which was the best experience for us and the dinner which was fabulous and really tasty. Stargazing was so cool! The camp is clean, and nicely decorated, the bonfire made it perfect. It is not completely silent like we used to have it in Oman on our first desert night, since there is a generator constantly making noise. This was a pity. The desert deserves to be enjoyed in silence. Sunset viewing was cool, we also visited the fossil hill. My airbed was broken and I slept on the hard floor, this should not have happened at all. When the staff prepares the tents, they should test, if the airbeds are ok! This was very annoying. The thing that we really did not like was, that we booked the dinner for 4 adults, since our kids were 12 and 15 and it was so much food, we could not eat it at all. I don't know, if the Arabic families eat that much or even care, but for us it was so bad to see, that our food was wasted and thrown away. When booking the dinner, we could not book for kids portions other than silly kids meals, and it was not clear, that we could book less portions. The center should do something about this. it is not right, to throw perfect food into the trash. Maybe tell people better, what to expect and that it is ok to book less portions.

Amazing place with horses We had stayed overnight near the stables. The staff at the stables,cafe and in general are amazing , so helpful. Can’t thank them enough for taking care of us. The experience at this place Feelquest Retreat was one a kind - awesome to spend time with horses in their natural Environment .

We got a nice private camp with good view, camp is outside of sharajah. Stargazing was perfect, dinner and breakfast was nice. Perfect sunrise and safari ride in the morning. Visited Mheila archaeological site and they have nice restaurant there.

An experience I’d never forget! It was amazing by all means. The event organizers were so professional which made it perfect. We enjoyed it right from the beginning that we upgraded from standard to overnight and even that was done smoothly. A special thanks to Jackie for being such a great organizer, she was always there for us from the time we booked till the end of the event. I’d like to also extend my appreciation to the buffet chef for the delicious food provided. I’d definitely encourage everyone to go for it!

An overnight to remember for a lifetime, especially since we witnessed shooting stars as a family!

Happened to attend the Perseids meteor shower on 12th August 2023 with Mleiha Archaeological centre, Sharjah. It was an wonderful experience with impressive arrangements for watching the meteors, car parking and wash rooms. The dinner was commendable and light. The lecture about stars, galaxies, universe and constellations was fantastic... Appreciate the efforts taken by the team!! Special mention to the educators Mr. Nirmal and Mr. Prabhu for their excellent presentation and quiz. Planets and star show through telescopes were well explained by Ushani and Jhen... A soothing relaxing music added special effects to the show!! Finally, very much excited to watch those meteors flying around.. Thankyou guys! Overall, a delightful experience! Keep up the good work!!

We Enjoyed an exclusive overnight camping as a family beginning of January ,great experience from the time we arrived until we left ,everyone was courteous ,friendly ,nothing was much to ask. The setting ,the lights ,the bonfire will transfer you to another place . We also ordered dinner for 4 ,lots of food the feeds many more,unlimited water ,soft drinks as well as tea ,karak and coffee ,breakfast in a box the next day after we went to watch the sunrise . The only thing that I would recommend is improving the breakfast . Leaving you with the great photos ,highly recommended .

Jackie organized our overnight camping trip so well and made sure that we were looked after seamlessly. Omar our guide was well informed and took us to see the fossils and early morning sunrise. Samir was polite and drove us early morning.

Sameer, Umar and Jackie welcomed me to the site and catered to any need, just as much as they gave me private space to fully enjoy the night with the stars. Good place if you seek to get away from touristy Dubai. I'd recommend the site's transport option as no Uber/Careem can be ordered from there.

This was our 2nd visit to the Meliha archaeological centre. We booked the 31st December, overnight non-exclusive camping experience through Jacqueline +971 50 968 1749. The booking procedure was easy though it was a last minute plan. Though it was non - exclusive we had a very private kind of camping experience, everything was meticulously arranged. The dinner spread was good with a lot of vegetarian options so my friends were happy too. They had arranged good live entertainment activities which kept us engaged and entertained. Tents were neat, clean and comfortable. A special mention to their clean toilets because at most of the camping places this is a compromised thing. We were lucky to win the voucher for sunset lounge with dinner so definitely we are coming back for more with more friends. A special thanks to all the staff at Meliha, they work really hard to provide us this wonderful experience , kudos and keep up the good work.

One of the best places to visit in UAE specially during time, amazing experience, the place is very clean and safe, the staff are so friendly and helpful, the BBQ is delicious. I watched the World Cup match under the stars and moon light. to wake up between the mountains and see the sunrise was like a dream to me. Big thanks to Ms. Nada for making this dream come true, very professional. Also I appreciate Sahid who was there around us all the time to guide and support , super kind, very helpful and patience . Best part was FIFA lounge, thanks to Afsar for all the hospitality there, super organized . Finally, I promise you to come back soon as I fall in love with this place :)

We had an amazing overnight stay, where we had activities planned, dinner, star gazing and just hanging out in the desert. The place is gorgeous and the staff is really amazing. Jackie is extremely helpful in planning things out to make your stay extra special. I highly recommend this place.

The campsite was in a stunning and peaceful location. The children were able to enjoy the camel rides and toy archery before it got dark. There was almost too much food for dinner, but it was tasty. We were able to view the craters on the moon's surface through the telescope during the star gazing. After a limited amount of sleep overnight we got up early for the sunrise drive in the desert. We watched the sun rise and then stayed longer for the children to play in the dunes rather than doing the dune bashing. The staff were helpful and accommodating and we appreciated the luxury of having the toilet facilities on site.

Amazing landscapes and it’s an exciting adventure to drive off-road through the dessert. My driver Murad was great and a save driver. He took me to the fossil rock and some other breathtaking spots. Also, the site has stables with beautiful horses for horse riding and other animals that can be watched. The whole site is very nature-conscious and one gets a very individual and amazing experience. The hospitality was outstanding and everyone working at Mleiha is an expert sharing their knowledge. As a female solo traveler I always felt safe, welcomed and enjoyed every minute. I want to thank especially Jacqui who walked me through every step of the booking and got me my personal perfect programme. Also she and her colleagues checked in with me several times how my experience is. I will definitely come back and can highly recommend Mleiha!

Fantastic place, great food and super friendly and helpful staff. It's like a 5 star campsite. All my participants for the breathwork and outdoor massage enjoyed it.

Hi Jacqui, we got back after a great trip. The star gazing was superb. Great guy Prabhu the Astronomer is … super professional and expertise. Nihar and Omar did a great job with the buggy which was quite an exciting experience. Lukas took great care at dinner, breakfast and the sunrise drive. Having visited Mleiha Archaeological Centre before, I knew the amazing service, knowledgable and cordial staff as well as the fantastic product was a given…but the Mleiha team surpassed my expectations once again We started our night off with a wonderful sunset drive (additional package) to visit the renowned Camel Rock and Fossil Rock! Multiple photo ops to capture the breathtaking sunset behind the dunes before making our way over to the campsite. The campsite was fully equipped with air conditioned toilets/showers, hand wash stations, plenty of lounge spaces and all the small details that make a guest’s stay comfortable I visited to celebrate a birthday and the team outdid themselves with decor around the area to make it extra special! We were welcomed with dates, karak tea and gahwa (Arabic coffee) After settling in, a staff member directed us to the stargazing area and walked us through sky conditions, objects/planets we can expect to see. We requested for Dinner as an add-on and chose Menu 2&3. The portion sizes are very generous and the food was fantastic - would highly recommend the grilled prawns & kebabs :) Special thanks to all the guides- from the warm welcome at the center to the dune buggy ride leading to check-out. It was such a lovely birthday celebration & can’t wait to come back with a bigger group! Tips for visitors: bring along pillows as they do not provide any at the moment

I did the overnight camping and yoga experience last weekend. It was one of the best things I have done while in the UAE!! Everything was lovely. Making arrangements over whatsapp was easy. The yoga was 2 real sessions with a great teacher. Dinner and breakfasts where feasts with very good vegetarian food. Star gazing was an added treat. The whole area is beautiful!!!! Plus, we got a ride out to our tents and beds where already set up for us. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Im not super outdoorsy and I was thrilled that there was a real clean restroom and shower near the campsite. The next morning we added dune bashing and a hike to the valley of the caves. Completely worth it and I will do it again when I have friends come and visit. You should book this!

We did the overnight camping trip last weekend, and this is one of the best short trips in UAE we have done. Mleiha Archaeology museum is a hidden treasure. It is small in area, but all the exhibits are well displayed with clear write ups. The highlight of the trip was the stargazing. The expert team consisting of Prabhu, Nirmal and Anurag are very knowledgeable and are passionate story-tellers. The sleeping tent is small but well provided for. Suggest taking pillows along. The sunrise (‘sun sight’ is the right expression as suggested by the stargazing team) trip is really awesome. And a special thanks to Shahid who took care of us well. Overall very authentic experience! Highly recommended!
