The experience of the tour was amazing. Miko our tour guide was so much fun. Informative, friendly and easy to talk too. Will definitely do it again.

Thanks Adam !! I highly recommend this tour to people visiting Osaka. Especially if you like to experience places where locals dine, far from touristy restaurants. We had an excellent tour with Adam & Hugo, both are great guides, very knowledgeable and good story tellers in establishments history and around districts we visited. They took us around 5 different restaurants, everything was pre-booked and arranged for us, I strongly recommend this tour for all foodies out there visiting Osaka :)

This tour is a must when in Osaka!! The delicious udon, the tasty chicken wings, the warm and crisy takoyaki and the tender brisket were out out this world. The people were great as well: from the local restaurant owners, to the other guests and our two wonderful guides. If you’re a foodie, I strongly advise booking this experience. 12/10!

The number of Japanese dishes we got to try was amazing. But we also covered different dining locations or styles. Great experience!

We had a wonderful time, in large part due to our tour guide Adam Smith. We came with two kids and he was engaging, funny and full of suggestions. We even got to quickly stop at some kid themed activities to keep them entertained. The food and drinks were great too!

We had a fun experience tasting different foods with the knowledgeable, friendly guide! Anna was able to answer all the questions and was funny and entertaining! We visited small, family owned businesses that were very friendly and welcoming!

A real experience in Osaka Japan and so much variety which cannot be explained in words if in Osaka must not be missed in any circumstances

Kevin was a great guide who helped make the whole experience fun. We went to places we never would have gone into on our own and experienced some real Japanese culture.

Tommy was exceptional. Although he was from Melbourne Australia, being in Osaka for 6 years, he did amazing. Knowing where to go and the places we visit was welcoming. We would have never visited these places on our own, and trying authentic dishes was perfect.

Overall, a great tour of the Shinsekai area of Osaka. The beginning of the tour was a bit confusing, as it wasn’t clear there were multiple groups and tour guides for the tour. Once we got our guide Hikaru, things went well. Hikaru did a great job explaining information about the food we were eating, as well as the Shinsekai area. As with most food tours, the party members you tour with can make or break your experience, but the tour folks cant really control this!

Great tour. We ate lots of good food, at places we probably wouldn't have found or visited if we were alone. Our guide was full of great stories and tips about navigating the city. A lot of fun!

The tour guide was helpful and engaging but overall the tour didn’t look up to our expectations. It doesn’t justify the price by any means. We mostly had street food and in very limited amounts, e.g. often the whole group had to share 2 plates of several pieces each. There was no dessert and our group wasn’t full by the end of the tour. There was a person that had requested special menu due to his allergies but they didn’t fulfil his request.

Tommy was an excellent host who just happened to be an ex pat Australian who spoke fluent Japanese. He made the tour memorable with his personality and communication style. The food was also sublime. You must do this tour.

A wonderful tour, would highly recommend to anyone visiting Osaka. Lots and lots of food!! Mico was a great guide, very knowledgeable about not only Japanese food and drinks, but also Osaka and the rest of Japan.

This was a great way to arrive in Japan. Tommy was our guide and ran a positive and conversational tour, with what felt like the perfect balance of guiding to feeding. It felt like an evening on the town with a knowledgeable friend. I ate things I never thought I would eat, and liked things I never thought I'd like. Foodwise it's pitched well enough that it won't horrify the less foodie people, and won't outclass the food snobs who want to know everything. I really enjoyed myself. Not only was I full at the end, but also tipsy and entertained - and Tommy's knowledge and confidence helped me feel more knowledgeable and confident going off on my own to the smaller eateries and having enough language to order without being able to read kanji.

Our guide Ana was super friendly and helpful. Often times guides can seem distance or “tired” but she seems to really enjoy sharing Osaka. The locations selected and information were all fantastic, if I come back with friends I would definitely bring them to this. If your new in Japan and know very little ,or tried very little, this is 100% the best crash course to get use to customs, types of restaurants, and food to expect.

Adam led us on a fun tour of downtown Osaka! The vibe was like Coney Island, only better. He was funny and informative. We enjoyed some good street food as we wound our way through brightly colored streets. Really an enjoyable time! The fried chicken and shrimp were our favorites.
