Gin is fantastic! So many stories, and pictures too, in case the ghosts didn’t feel like making an appearance. We chose this tour over others because Gin is a local who grew up with the stories, both ghost and history. She knows the island and the people firsthand, and she did not disappoint!

We were so lucky to have Madeline as our tour guide. She has such a wealth of knowledge and hearing about the many layers of history in Galveston has left such a lasting impression. I'll never look at Galveston the same way again. We had a blast on the tour. Madeline made it fun, interesting and memorable. We were just going for an evening walk on a cold night. We ran into Madeline's tour, signed up at the last minute and our evening suddenly became extra special! I look forward to going on another tour!

This was a great tour! Our guide kept us intrigued and wanting more. Her knowledge of Galveston and its history seemed limitless. Our interactions with her were fun. I loved the stories she told us and how she could tell you the history of the all the buildings we walked by. We entered a few of them where she was able to point out certain things and its history. We didn’t see any ghost but that doesn’t mean they weren’t there. Five Stars for sure!

I had wanted to schedule a ghost tour for a long time. I booked my entire family for this tour. Lots of history. I plan to return and explore the city more extensively, and return to some of the places to ask about their ghost experiences. My three young grandsons were enthralled with the experience. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining.

Massive thank you to our tour guide Madeline who came out on the COLDEST night of the year (during the 2022 December freeze) to give us a great talk about Galveston history and ghosts! We were the only two people registered for the tour and she could have easily cancelled and stayed home and warm. This was a really great tour, an excellent introduction to some Galveston and Texas history as well as a really interesting history of ghostly experiences on the Strand. Our guide was BOI (born on island) and knew so many people who work downtown that she was able to tell us some of their firsthand experiences with the local hauntings. We came away with some great stories to tell, new businesses to visit on her suggestion to do some ghost hunting of our own, and lots of interesting tidbits to follow up on. Excellent experience for the price, definitely recommend!

A Galveston Ghost Tour is one of our yearly Thanksgiving traditions. This is a great operation and the tours are enjoyable. The tour guides are informative and entertaining. On this particular trip we also had a chance to experience their customer service for a minor issue (our fault not theirs). They were highly responsive and went above and beyond what we expected. It's good to know that the "back" office is just as professional as the "front" office (the tour ...). We will be back next year.

Best ghost tour in Galveston! Recently went on a tour with Brian and had an absolute blast! This isn't like your typical ghost tour, you learn the history and see photos of things captured at each location! Highly recommend this group for all your spooky tour needs! I've gone on both the original strand tour and the restless spirits tour and both times it was amazing! Learn about the history of Galveston and each location and how it connects to the hauntings! Not like some other tours I've done where all they tell you is the ghost stories! As a history buff I love knowing the why to each story! Editing this to add the newest tour I went on the cemetery tour! Aaron was super informative and an awesome guide! Very knowledgeable and definitely enjoyed what he did!!

It was ok. Stories were not very believable. The guide was pleasant but not a great story teller. She just left the entire group at the last stop and we really weren’t sure how to get back where we started. Been on much better ghost tours in Gslveston

We were pleased with the tour and enjoyed learning some history of the area. We did not see any ghost, but the stories of others that have was interesting. The last stop, Mob Bar, was a perfect ending.

This tour was so much fun! I would highly recommend it for anyone! Even if you don't believe in ghosts I imagine this would still be fun! Getting to walk down the beautiful downtown area and learning some island history was great! Our guides Jamie and Aaron were wonderful and so good and fun with the group, the type of guides anyone would wish for!

We booked the "Dash Beardsley Restless Spirit Tour" from 8-10pm which was supposed to be less historic and more paranormal, visiting "areas not included in the Original Tour". Less than three hours out, I received a call saying our guide could not make it and we could either join the 7:30 tour or get a refund. I asked if it was the same tour and was told yes. We rushed through our 6:30 dinner reservation to make it on time only to learn we had been put in the Original Tour. Annette was great and knowledgeable and I would give her 5-stars, but the first 30 minutes was on the history of Galveston (which I mostly already knew) while we stood in front of the RR museum . I had booked the other tour and was disappointed that I was switched after them telling me it was the same tour. The Original Tour was walking the Strand and looking in windows while Annette talked about the history as much as the hauntings. Again she was great, but I signed up for something more.

Ask for Brian! So knowledgeable of Galveston and just spooky enough to keep it fun! This dude is legit his daily driver is a hearse! Come on! If you visit Galveston this tour is a must!

We got to tour from Annette just as Tropical Storm Nicholas was winding down. The streets were empty and we got to soak in a lot of the beautiful history, architecture, and catastrophic events of the past. The ghosts were inside staying dry, but Im sure if we had more time we'd have encountered a few. Thank you for a great tour!

Our guide's name was Faith and she was very kind and engaging. She even let us tell our own ghost stories! She told us she was new but she gave the tour like a pro!

Should have been advertised as a history tour. Tour guide was very knowledgeable in Galveston history but the ghost aspect of the tour was lame!

My family and I booked the ghost tour during our vacation to Galveston. I enjoyed learning about the town and the inhabitants that have passed on. My only advice to the tour guide would be to perhaps consider using a megaphone with a group of our size. I would leave my family in the back so I could get up close enough to hear. Otherwise, our tour guide was an excellent storyteller and really knew her town history.

I’ve been in many ghost walking tours throughout the world. This one was average. Tour guide was knowledgeable but just didn’t really grab and hold the audiences attention. Felt like it was just a lot of rambling on about historical facts and someone once heard a ghost here and Someone once saw a ghost at this location or I heard a ghost. It wasn’t the worse one I’ve ever been on but nothing memorable at all. I would try a different company

I've gone on several ghost tours, and this was by far the worst. The guide seemed bored, and not very knowledgeable. Most of the tour was her saying to take pictures, we might see something that way.

We booked the Ghost tour online for two adults. The site said to be at the cemetery 15 minutes before the tour (8pm). We arrived 1/2 hour before the tour was to start. At 815pm we tried to call Ghost tours of Galveston, but got an answering machine that was full. We tried to email the company but received no response. We called our credit card company (Citibank Visa) from the cemetery at 840pm to stop the charges. Another tour company showed up at 9pm for another tour and after telling our story to them they graciously allowed us to join their group. When we got home we officially disputed the charges and were told Ghost Tours of Galveston has a NO refund policy. We are VERY disappointed with both companies......
