Fun trip. Really really pretty. Cannon beach was cute and quaint. Ecola seafood is really tasty. Stay away from Bills brewhouse. The staff is extremely rude to the guests and to each other. Lastly, Dominique was fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable and kind.

wonderful trip with wonderful guide! I had spatial experience that I have wanted. I’m korean on travel. when I was child I saw movie’goonies’ it was amazing that I am there.

Our guide, David Heil, was amazing. He made the drive up very enjoyable and the sights were just beautiful.

David was an excellent tour guide! The sights were gorgeous and we fit a lot into the time we had! I would definitely recommend the coast tour.

Eric was a tour guide. He is very Knowledgeable about the Oregon Coast and Portland. He gave recommendations for places to eat in Cannon Beach and in Portland. This was an amazing tour.

I waited several weeks before writing this review, thinking I might cool off a bit with time. I have not. After reading every review on TA on Oregon Coast tours we opted to go with Wildwood Adventures. Our tour was on Saturday, August 5th at 9:00 am. We arrived a bit early and a tour van was packed full and just preparing to depart. The tour guide of that van was very friendly and stated that we were booked on the next van that would be pulling up shortly. Indeed it arrived just a minute later. We were delighted to have only seven tourists plus the guide/driver on our tour. There was plenty of room to spread out and be comfortable. We were expecting a wonderful eight hour trip full of tons of information on the area. Past reviews on TA raved about their guides and how informative they were, knowledgeable about the area, the wealth of info they got on the trip and how much fun it was. I won't mention our guide's name, but let's just say he was not one of them mentioned on the positive TA reviews I read. Yes, the van left on time, we made it to the coast, saw some beautiful sights, ate at Cannon Beach and made it back safe and sound. The drive felt safe and we arrived back to Portland just shortly after our scheduled time. While our driver was courteous it was very obvious he either hated his job or just did not want to be there. It felt like maybe he was called into work on a day he would otherwise have had off. We certainly didn't have the same experience as all of the 4 and 5 star reviews I had read. Although he would answer any questions we had, there was not much volunteered info from him or tour commentary. It was a very blah trip and frankly, we couldn't wait to get back to Portland. I'm not sure what happened, but we certainly didn't have the same experience as the other's listed on here. I have taken more than 15 guided tours all over the world. This was, without a doubt, the most disappointing. We paid $300 for two of us. If I knew what I was getting that day, I would not have even paid $100!  We had a rental car and I could have driven the route and got a guide book on the area for free from AAA and could have gotten more information than what we received from our tour guide. I got the impression that we were not the only ones frustrated and disappointed. I only tipped 10% and it was difficult handing that over. The tour guide we had was just terrible. I regret spending the money and wasting our time on this tour. Safe travels.

The tour guide/driver was beyond sketchy, terrible at the actual tour guide part but also got road rage and gave the impression he was just very “off” the entire time, felt very uncomfortable and unsafe, got bitchy when gave no tip

What a trip! Our guide was friendly, informative and just an all around pleasant person. We had time to eat, walk, take in the beaches and got great info on every stop. Highly recommended! My wife and I were the only ones booked and we were still allowed to make the trip…great experience all around.

Escola State Park & Cannon Beach were my favorite spots on this tour. It fulfilled my inner Goonies fan. Our tour guide, Daniel was very knowledgeable about places we went to.

Cannon Beach was beautiful. The driver was knowledgeable and very interesting. We loved Haystack beach also.

Highlight of our time in Oregon, the coastal region is simply beautiful. The guide was super knowledgeable about Portland and Oregon in general, and gave us a good number of recommendations for our time there. Thank you so much for the lovely experience!

This was the best day trip I have had in quite some time. Getting away from the hustle and bustle of Portland is easy because of the proximity to the great outdoors, but not all day trips provide the same experience. Taking a trip to Cannon Beach was like going on a mini vacation in 1-day. It was both peaceful & relaxing, and well worth the money. If a 2 or 3 day tour option to the same location, with surfing lessons & star gazing with a nighttime campfire, was also offered, I'd jump on booking it. Thank you for a wonderful adventure.

David was great! Great energy and very informative. The tour was well structured and an easy way to squeeze in a coast day while staying in the city.

We booked a full day coast trip as part of our company summit and couldn't have had more fun. We got a personal touch of excellence from Andy, the manager, who's combination of experience growing up in Oregon, his previous career paths and passion for nature and ecology, and years of experience running these tours really added a lot to the trip. I was born and raised in Oregon and have been going to the coast pretty much every year of my life, I consider myself pretty well versed on Oregon history and topography, and I still learned and saw so many new things on this tour! Andy really was a great host and was extremely flexible with us regarding the itinerary as the day unfolded, even when our lunch reservation was forgotten by the restaurant and we went over time a little bit (to be clear, the reservation issue was not the fault of Andy/Wildwood Adventures and regardless we had a great time despite the hiccup). In additional to being a great tour guide, Andy was a wonderful driver keeping us safe and sound in an incredibly clean and well air conditioned van. I easily would recommend Wildwood Adventures to anyone staying in Portland and wanting to see the Oregon Coast, even if you're a local!

My husband and myself had an amazing time. We had one day here, and Dave made it amazing. Every stop was perfect.
