Amazing experience, not only learning how to cook but also about the culture. Was awesome going down to the local market and sourcing the ingredients there.

Lovely experience! The environment is so inviting and well organized. The teacher, Ming, gave a great tour of the market and kept the entire class engaged through all of the cooking. Worthwhile experience for learning about local cuisine and enjoying great tastes!

The class is more than you could imagine. It was such a rich and pleasant experience, all the way from the food, the setting and amazing staff. The class is very educational as well as enjoyable and a great way to meet other foodies. Recommend 10/10.

Cooking class was fun and they’re good chef. I enjoyed all the food that we cooked and they allow us to have our own spiciness of the food.

Excellent course. Very well organised and fun. The food is delicious and the instructors made it simple to learn. We have done many cooking courses in South East Asia and this one is the best we have taken.

This class goes beyond teaching standard US Thai restaurant fare. It began with a brief look at Akha culture and ended with a delicious new meal. From our kitchen in Colorado, we were transported by the scent of rich spices to the beloved little cafes of Chiang Mai. I could almost see the green cloaked mountains. The instructor was warm and funny and shared tips & tricks & shopping lists that included substitutions easily found in the US. As a beautiful bonus, we cooked a family meal with friends across the world. I plan to do this again with my extended family. Highly recommend!

My daughter and I did a zoom cookery class with Niti. Lists of Ingredients, equivalent etc were sent well in advance so that we were well prepared. We used an iPad for a wide view and a phone to get close ups of what we were doing so that Niti could advise us what to do. Niti is friendly and a great teacher and made our class great fun. Also the soup we made was delicious. I will be booking another class and would highly recommend Niti and her Akha cookery class.

We have taken classes both in-person and online. They bring a lot of joy and energy to each class, share a bit about their culture, and help you to prepare delicious food. A great experience for our whole family, including our middle-school-aged kids.

Niti is great, fun and friendly instructor , I feel like cooking with friends. Easy to follow step-by-step walk through, tips and tricks along while you cooking. Highly recommend.

Niti lead us through a Thai soup class -- she was very helpful and patient, and kept a close eye on our progress via Zoom! I will take another class from her, and when travel opens up again I hope to visit in-person in Thailand!

Starting from the moment that we were picked up at our house, our day at this wonderful Chiang Mai attraction was the highlight of our visit to Thailand. This was not our first time at a Chiang Mai cooking school, but it was by far the best. Niti was a joy to spend time with and her easy, relaxed and effective teaching skills combined to enhance the experience in a delightful way. Niti was also very skilled as a host and expertly engaged and connected us to the Thai culture and history. From the market place to the food prep in the appealing kitchen , to the delicious and memorable dining experience, we were captivated by the Akha Cooking School experience. One that we will always remember.
