My 16-year-old son had a fantastic one-on-one surfing instruction. The location was a yellow tent at the side of the pier. I booked online in advance.

My daughter had a great time surfing with the instructor. He explained how to catch a wave and stood up on her first try. She had so much fun that we had to come back and do it again. Definitly worth every penny.

We absolutely loved our lessons with Hugo. He was awesome. We’re beginners and he explained it all so it was super easy (and didn’t laugh at us when we wiped out). The water wasn’t too cold and the current wasn’t too strong. We bought lessons online and it was all super easy. We’re coming back next time we’re in Cocoa Beach!

Our instructors were awesome! We had younger kids with us, and they stayed in the water with us the whole lesson, helping us as we were all beginners. We’d definitely recommend using these guys next time you are in Cocoa Beach!

We had the best time learning to surf! The instructors were knowledgeable, positive and fun. They made it so easy and this became a highlight of our trip! 10/10 recommend.

I had my 11 year old grandson take a 1 hr lesson taught by Franky. Franky spent 10 minutes on basics, paddling out, pop up etc. the rest of the Tim’s was in the water. My grandson was up and riding waves in 15 minutes. Well worth the $$$. Highly recommend Franky! Jim B

Have been taking my 10 year old son to Cocoa Beach Surf School for the last two months! They do a fantastic job. All of the instructors have been terrific and patient. My son is really progressing!

Orion did an excellent job during our two hour lesson (for two beginners). He tailored his instruction well to both of us based on our abilities and passed on a love of the sport. Thank you!

We had THE BEST TIME learning to surf with our instructors. There were two guys who helped the four of us. They gave us the water safety lowdown and a quick how to about getting on the board and balancing. Then, they stood in the water and held our board (if we wanted) and told us when to paddle in order to catch the waves. They even gave me a push because I was too slow. Everything about the experience was perfect. I highly recommend the Cocoa Beach Surf Club. My kids are back out there today and loving life.

I was in Melbourne visiting and I had some time to spare, so I decided to take a quick surf lesson. I’m so glad I did! Becca was my instructor and I was fortunate enough to have a one-on-one experience. I took the 9am slot and the beach was almost empty, so it was a really great time to learn. Becca was super friendly and had a great attitude. She seemed to know everyone on the beach. She was patient with me and I was able to get up on my fourth attempt. It was awesome! If you’re in the area, I highly recommend this excursion and ask for Becca.

My boys 10 & 13 had never surfed. Nick was patient and encouraging. This is a private lesson, so for the money, I think they received excellent instruction. They have asked to rent boards again to surf 🏄‍♂️ 🏄‍♂️ Thanks to Nick, my boys now love surfing.

My 13 year old granddaughter spent her time in the lesson with Nick. She loved every minute and it was well worth the cost. I wasn't ever worried about her safety. Anyone looking for a first time experience should invest in this experience. Nick helped a young teen from Texas mark an adventure off her bucket list and as she said "He was easy on the eyes! 😊"

We did our 2 hour lesson over 2 days due to conditions. The first day we really got bashed (high onshore winds, high tide, rip currents, moody sea) around but Amanda was super helpful & patient with us . CBSS rescheduled us to come back on a calmer day so our first experience would be great. We were so grateful they were so accommodating and understanding!! We went back a couple days later and Bryson had us in the water and catching waves in no time. We can’t say enough about how great the experience was, and how impressed we were from beginning to end. Amanda & Bryson and all of the CBSS staff who helped us were awesome! We will be renting some boards today to practice all we have learned and will be back for more lessons, for sure! Thank you so much!

Joe was excellent with our two teen-aged girls. They loved it and did great!!! We were able to just relax and let him teach them.

My 13yo daughter and I booked 2 hour lessons as first time surfers... it was an awesome experience! Kellar, our instructor, was patient, professional and kept the conversation lively. The beach and waves were awesome. After a brief safety intro and some practice popups,, we were in the warm water and surfing in no time. My daughter and I got to make some great memories, and try something new in the process... highly recommended for anyone to try!

My wife and I took a gamble and tried surfing for the first time. We had a blast!! The instruction provided by Meredith was outstanding. She was very patient and attentive. She even went surfing with us after she finished her lessons for the day. The entire Cocoa Beach Surf School staff were very welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed the experience. Great, caring, attentive instructors. Very enjoyable time for all. All in the group got up on the board at least for a bit, with hunger to do more
