DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY !!! Bus and guide never turned up, wasted 2 hours waiting for them. No communication whatsoever. I tried to get in contact with Pepe Rio directly multiple times - via phone, email, and instagram, and despite having read my messages, no response or even an apology. So disappointing as my time in Rio de Janiero was limited, and the activities far more expensive when I had to buy tickets independently on the day. Viator have offered no help whatsoever in getting any explanation from the ‘company’ they promote, no offer of any compensation for my additional costs due to Pepe Rio, and have marked on my account that I cancelled this tour, which is completely incorrect! Very conveniently, this has blocked me from leaving a review on their site. @Viator, why do you continue to advertise this company, and why are you now allowing me to post a review directly on Viator warning others not to book this? PLEASE PLEASE AVOID THIS WAS SUCH A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE !!!

We had a completely rainy day, but we continued with the tour we had booked. Isabela was incredibly cheerful and turned it into a lovely and memorable experience.

The company never came to pick us up. We had been waiting ten minutes prior to the agreed pick up time and decided to call it quits after an hour and a bit of waiting for pick up. This is despite the tour having been confirmed and pick up agreed upon in the days prior.

Such a fun time! It takes a long time to gather everyone in the morning. It would be best for everyone to meet at the same time and place. The tour is great. Isabella was amazing! Made it fun, singing and dancing. And telling us about the city’s historic places. Thank you!

Unfortunately, no one came to pick us. We tried to contact the provider but were unsuccessful. The tour looks great but I do not recommend this company.

Same story as the others. They didn’t show up, they didn’t respond to texts or calls. Just buy a ticket for Christ the redeemer and go yourself. Sugarloaf is fine too the other stuff is just filler and at the end of the day you wasted 8 hours of your very limited vacation time

Very disappointing and ruined one day of our vacation because no one came to pick us up and we could not contact the tour operator via the phone number listed with our tour! I demand a full refund and an explanation. How inconsiderate to just not show up or answer any of my messages.

No show at pick up location!!!!! Waiting on refund while they investigate. If we do not receive a full refund we will not book Viator again. 😤

Loved this experience, had such a great day & we were taken to all the major sites. Our tour guide was great with lots of information, the highlight was getting engaged at Christ the Redeemer.

Sugar mountain had amazing views we also had many different stops with amazing places definitely well rounded.

I received a email of confirmation the day before, when the day came for our tour we arrived promptly at 07:45. Soon it was 8:15 am and still no sign of our bus. We were convinced the company was just running late so we began calling and sending text messages but received no response. Before you know it minutes turned to hours and it was now 10:00 am and still no word from the company and no bus. Few moments later the company sent a text saying there was no tour for today and it was canceled. No apology and no mention of a refund. We will attempt to get our money back but future customers beware of this unprofessional and inconsiderate company.

The company didn’t reach out to us to tell us they were closed on NYE and NY Day but Viator still “booked” the experience and charged my card. 0/10

Booked this trip and the guide / driver never showed up. I waited over an hour and still no one showed. Called and texted the company and have yet to follow back with a response.

The tour was confirmed, but they never came to pick me up, I waited for 1 hour and half in the meeting point for nothing. And it was impossible to contact the tour operator, even for the agent of Viator!!!

Never even answer and didn’t go to our hotel to pick up so we didn’t go. I text to the number and never answered
