Guide was very personable. Patient and did not feel rushed. Took photos of myself and daughter. No high pressure selling which probably buy more! Highly recommend!!

Where do I start with this place, We hiked all the way up from Sorrento which was a nice little uphill hike on the stone alley. When we got up to Gargiulo, we joined a group on a fantastic Olive Oil tasting. We ended up buying around 7 bottles to bring back home because there were so many options. They also do shipping if you need to order more. We then did a tour to see the machinery and the way they process Olive Oil. Very unique and interesting. Lastly we decided to stay a little longer and do a wine tasting with their head chef and cooking class instructor Claudio!! He was absolutely amazing and really made our experience one of a kind. He gave us a few bites with our tasting as well as talked about some of his techniques. We are grateful for this experience and highly recommend this stop for anyone who is staying near Sorrento. Make sure you tell Claudio we said Hi!!!

What a fabulous experience. We loved the little tour of the old farm and the olive oil tasting. We just received our box of oils and many other delicious treats. Their pick up service was excellent and they returned us to the hotel when we were done. After the tour we had lunch in their restaurant upstairs with the most fabulous view and delicious food. This tour was one of our favorite experiences in Sorrento. I highly recommend it. I wish we had done the pizza class because we saw many people doing that and they loved it.

This was a hidden gem we stumbled upon. We tasted all the olive oils (there are several) ended up purchasing quite a bit to bring back home. The olive oil process is just fascinating and the reward, delicious! Little did we know when we found the olive oil factory on the map that we would be able to enjoy one of the best meals! If we would’ve known we would have booked a pizza making class as well. The customer service in the olive oil tasting room/tour and the restaurant with Tony were exceptional. We highly recommend this experience. My google maps did take use through the most narrow road to the location. It was a straight road. If your map shows you this do not do it. I’m sure the road is for scooters only. It made for an even more memorable experience, but save yourself from that part.

I really enjoyed the olive oil tasting and went back to do the pizza making class with Claudio. We had a great time and he was so patient and fun! Our class with Claudio was really a highlight of our trip. Then we got to eat our delicious pizza in a breathtaking setting. Highly recommend!

We toured the old farm house, olive garden, had demonstrations and tastings .....lunch upstairs on the patio, superb food and spectacular views

Good, but brief overview of the farm and the olive oil make process. Now I understand why it is so expensive! The tour ends with a tasting of 15 olive oils plus balsamic vinegar and reductions plus the opportunity to purchase. The olive oils were good - very distinctive and they had lots of flavored oils. Transportation was via taxi which they arranged. It was maybe a 10 minute drive from downtown Sorrento. I suspect you could do this on your own for cheaper but you would need to arrange the tour directly with the farm. You can do it via email a couple days in advance. If you have a interest in learning about olive oils, I recommend this tour.

Highly recommend this experience!! Amazing venue and the most delicious olive oil. The new space for lunch has a breathtaking view. And the staff couldn’t be nicer. We’ll never forget our afternoon spent with them and will surely visit again.

Meh. It was nice that the tix included transport to and from. The tour was pretty basic and the tasting portion was chaotic. Additional people were added to our group at tasting time and it made for a very crowded table. With multiple groups in a small area at the same time, could hardly hear our guides descriptions of the products. We were underwhelmed and don’t think it was worth the price.

It's not as good as expected, more of a 'hard sell'. Advertise 150 oils/vinegars plus different liqueurs to taste, but in reality, the selection (about a dozen oils) was already laid out, and only one liqueur was offered after asking to try it . Transport, hit and miss, nice air con car collects you, then they leave you hanging around while local taxi takes you back. Very eager to fill their order book/ring their tills

My wife and I came here on our honeymoon and this place is the best! The wine, the food, and of course the olive oil are the absolutely incredible! And Tony, the host, is the best ambassador to Italy! Such a genuine person who knows and loves his food and drink. I would highly recommend this to anyone!

Our guide was very informative. We loved the story behind the olive tree. The views were breath taking. The olive oils n wines outstanding

The tour of the farm was beautiful, and seeing how olive oil is made was very interesting. We got to taste all the various types and infused flavors as well. Very friendly staff. Great restaurant too.

The place has an amazing view while you dine in, food was prepared well from antipasti, mains & desserts with wine plus limoncello at the end. Everything taste so good & varieties of olive oil was of best quality!!! From the Chefs & staffs are all friendly! Excellent experience 👍

We visited for a garden tour, olive oil tasting, and wine tasting. The tour was lovely and we were able to garner a better understanding of how olive oil is made. The olive oil tasting was incredible, we tried all types of olive oil available and could’ve stayed all day finishing them off! The wine tasting allowed us to taste some excellent Italian wine and they were each paired with a meal course. The food was definitely one of the best meals we had in our entire trip in Italy, every plate was exquisite, homemade and fresh from their garden. We would highly recommend anyone to try both tasting - and especially enjoy the food!!

Loved seeing the old farm house and how olives were farmed many years ago. A nice surprise was the wine tasting upstairs in their new beautiful restaurant. They let us do the wine tasting after the olive oil tasting. Afterwards, we put together a nice assortment of oil, wine, honey & pasta to ship home. Tony did a great job explaining the wine & he was very entertaining! The whole experience was organized, fun and tasty!

Don't go into this experience unless you want to buy olive oil! The tour started with a very brief walking tour of their property and after they had a table set for an olive oil tasting. That's it, and its definitely just a sales pitch for their products, but their products are delicious! My sister and I both bough several different olive oils, a chocolate liquor, and honey from their bees!

All I can say is Magnifico. Antonella was an excellent tour guide and extremely friendly. The grounds are breathtaking and the quality of the products can be felt throughout the compound. Antonino is one of the friendliest people I’ve ever met. He treated me like one of his own and I will never forget that. It goes without saying that the food in the upstairs restaurant is some of the best on the planet as everything served is produced on the compound. If you’re staying in Sorrento or it’s neighbouring towns, I highly recommend this as an excursion. Thank you to the Gargiulo family and it’s employees for making this one of the highlights of my trip!

We had an awesome tour and tasting of the olive oil produced right on site. Wonderful family tradition, right in the heart of Sorrento. One of our favorite activities for our visit in Sorrento. The olive oil tasting was a great experience and if you go to this little gem, go upstairs and do not miss out on the wine and food tasting with Antonio. It will not disappoint.

Everything here is fantastic! A truly wonderful experience. Tony took great care of us for lunch. The food was fabulous. The views, the people, the food, the wine, and yes, the olive oil, too! After lunch we took advantage of the olive oil tasting and brought home a few bottles to enjoy later. The lemon delight was the lightest and most delicious one I had on our trip! And much of the food they serve comes from their garden. A 'must schedule' for anyone's trip through Sorrento!
