A fantastic experience, the local history, food and wine knowledge was impeccable- Andrès was a brilliant host and really engaged the whole group to ensure it was both social and informative The meeting place details were also really clear, we had no problem finding it.

Andres was a great guide. Nine guests was a perfect size. Part walking tour of fascinating Old Town, complimented by great food and drink at our first two stops. Our final stop turned into a gourmet wine tasting with four different wines and great food. Highly recommended!

This was the perfect tour for a few night stay in Madrid! It had a snippet of everything, a short walking tour from restaurant to restaurant that included some Spanish history, incredible drinks, and some amazing food. Andres was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us an unforgettable experience. It was a great way to meet people and do some light exploring without doing a full tour in a larger group, which can sometimes be more of a hassle. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone staying for a short stint in Madrid and looking to get a taste of the history/food culture!

We had a wonderful evening in Andrès’ company. He is very charismatic and lots of fun! His knowledge of Spain and particularly Madrid is second to none and it was really interesting learning about Spanish food, wine and its traditions! Andrès took us to fabulous tapas bars in vibrant and busy parts of the old town. The food was really delicious in all of these places and the wines were excellent - especially the red! Yum yum! Our group was really great and we ended up laughing, talking, eating and drinking with one another as if we’d known each other for years! If you only do one thing in Madrid - take this tour!! This was the best tour! Andres took us to some real great spots and fun neighborhoods. Not only did we have amazing bites, but, he really knows what wines would complement each dish. The wines were such a surprise as to how good they were. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening meeting others from all different places. I highly recommend Andre’s’ tour, not to miss!

Everything about this tour was amazing. Andres, our guide, was the absolute best!! Don’t miss this night .. the restaurants and bars are all unique and hold a story of their own. Our guide Andreas was an excellent host and really informative about the old part of town. Met with two really pleasant couples from the US. Had a really nice evening with plenty of food and excellent wines and Vermouth.

The only sad part of this tour is that I did not do it sooner. Andre’s is fantastic. The drinks, food and knowledge of the area was great. We experienced both food and drink that we would never have known about in tapas restaurants that were fantastic. Andres also brought in some outside wine and PX sherry - amazing with the final vanilla Ice cream and macadamia nuts. Highly recommend this tour.

Andrés, from start to finish, was brilliant. Communication before the event (which he scheduled for us outside of his normal hours!) was prompt and informative. He arrived on time and facilitated a brilliant tour, which was the highlight of the weekend. The food was some of the best we had eaten for a long time. Recommendations to continue the day after the tour were great (yet more delicious food and great bars). I would not hesitate to recommend Andrés to anyone looking for an informative tour with excellent food.

This was our 5th time in Spain , second in Madrid , taking more than a dozen wine, tapas tours, and I can say each one with different emphasis and tastes. Most of this tour “vibra” is created by our tour guide Andres. He makes a selection of the most tradicional Tapa and wine bars in old village, the ones preferred by the locals. He also bring the best of his personal wine collection to share with us and for a more deeper tasting-learning experience. Andres was always more than willing to answer all our questions and beyond. No doubt , this was my best wine-tapa tour ever.

Excellent tour - tried some different and delicious local tapas dishes. Andres was very knowledgeable and knew the authentic places to go and the best food and wine to order. We felt like a local and had so much fun that the group and Andres went out for 3 further bottles of wine at the local Mercado after the tour had finished! Not to be missed when visiting Madrid

You never know what to expect with these tours. Andrés’s tour was very highly rated on here and for good reason. He is a friendly, knowledgeable, and eager tour guide, happy to share his insider information on the city, its food and drink, its history, and even some local gossip. We were lucky to be in a group of great people and we all ended up at the San Miguel market sharing more wine. Definite recommend. Highlights included the salt cod at Casa Revuelta, the migos at Capitán Alatriste, and the amazing Iberico pork and Rioja pairing at our final stop.
