This was a great tour. Excellent value for money and I would highly recommend booking. Our guide (Baz) was very knowledgeable about the history of Ireland and gave a very interesting, honest and detailed tour. Communications throughout were excellent. Baz arrived on time and his cab was spotlessly clean. He was friendly and answered any questions we had. We had the opportunity to see all the sights and sign the Peace Wall. Had a great couple of hours. Thank you very much.

This was a fantastic tour. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and he spoke of the history of the Troubles from a place of personal experience, and with respect for different perspectives. I already knew something of the recent history, but I was impressed with how my guide connected it to the broader sweep of Irish history.

Loved the way that the tour set up the entire Irish history to explain the reason and state that led to the conflicts in Ireland. Being from the states we only learned big highlights of the conflicts, so it was interesting to hear a different point of view and in better and greater detail.

A native Irish husband/wife who leads the van tour. easy in/out at various sites. Passion for sharing the history and complicated nature of the tension politically. Paired well with Martins' 90 minute walking tour. Plenty of time to take pictures. Loved how art is encouraged for expression instead of violence. Husband is fast talker so non-native English speakers may have trouble. Guide was friendly and passionate and proud of Ireland. Highly recommend tour to get the experience of past and present perspectives.

This tour was a moving experience, delving into the history of “The Troubles”, its social, political and, most importantly, human dimension. The tour focuses on the Falls and Shankill Roads. The guide I had, Paula, was able to make the political relatable as the personal and there was a lot of sensitivity apparent in this tour that was aimed to build understanding of a difficult history that is still real for a lot of people in Belfast. Highly recommended.

Took this tour with my 15 year old daughter who had no knowledge of NI history and was a little reluctant to engage with it. Paula was an excellent guide.
