Salvatore is a knowledgeable and entertaining guide to the history and culture of Milan. We walked through the Navigli district and then through the Porta Nuova area. He has a dry sense of humour and adapts well to the group in front of him. The 2 1/2 hours flew by!

Our first time in Milan, so we booked to Salvatore to give us some insights. He did a great job, not only from various historical perspectives, but also cool neighborhoods to visit. Beyond the Navigli area, we also went to Porta Nuova to see new architectures which we also loved.

We lost the paper where to meet and without Wi-Fi could not view the tour. Salvatore was very kind and came and found us at the wrong location. He did not let it ruin the tour but instead we carried on snd had a great tour of a very interesting part of Milan with Roman influence, canals, nightlife etc. I recommend this tour and Salvatore very highly.

Fabulous two hours with Salvatore He is very knowledgeable and found some interesting things for us to see including fashion, food, architecture and history. Salvatore was able to adapt and modify the plan on the day when circumstances required

The tour guide was not enthusiastic and did not provide any in depth knowledge on the history of the city or at any of the stops. We traveled on the underground train and used our own passes. There was no conversation in between the stops unless we initiated it. The tour was expensive and not a good value for your money

Salvatore was wonderful. We visited the canals and the futuristic city—both a must when in Milan. Walking these areas gave me a great perspective as to where we were in the city, and frankly, I really wish I had done this tour in the beginning of my visit. We also rode the subway together, again a nice learning experience. He was talkative, but not hyper—a nice leisurely stroll with lots of history and information.

Guide was knowledgeable but dull. We would have been much better off without her. Totally inappropriate level of gory detail for our kids (how people bleed to death and starve in the sun slowly when crucified… the level of sexual violence in Italy etc) Guide was not Italian. Waste of time.

Salvatore was fantastic! Native to Milan and so east to talk to and listen to. Got to know a few parts of town and made a friend! We made the reservations the day before - so glad we did this!! Thank you!

Francesca, the guide, knew every art store in Naviglio, and took us there. She was nice and knowledgeable.

Alisa is very kind with a great sense of humor and has an impressive knowledge regarding historical and present Milan. She showed us the financial district with “Il Dito”, the Navigli Quarter with its canals surrounded by hipster bars, street art and picturesque backyards. In sum, our tour was a great pleasure and very informative. We already look forward touring Milan with Alisa at our next visit.

Perfect way to start a visit to Milan! Saara was an exceptional guide to the city and I felt as if I really saw it through her eyes. As we walked she shared valuable info about the history, people and FOOD! It definitely set the tone for the visit and we were able to plan so many little adventures around Saara's guidance on the first day. I would 100% schedule the tour within the first day of your arrival as you will get a wonderful perspective on the city. Saara is the best - warm, friendly and very informed.

Vanna's tour was like visiting Milan with a good friend. She shared places only a person living there would know about. We spent time in beautiful shops with lovely people. She surprised us both with gifts that she made herself and we truly enjoyed! We learned a great deal of how the fashion started in Milan (my fav part) as well as learning about the current trends, general history of Milan as well as affordable fashion and window shopping the expensive stuff! Recommend!!

First impressions can influence how we view a destination and for first time visitors to Milan like us, my wife and I have Alisa to thank for a great introduction to her home city. Her suggestions on other things to see and visit during our stay were great and enabled us to make the most of our time in Milan. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Alisa. She was engaging, flexible, friendly and a genuinely lovely person to spend time with. She shared a lot of background knowledge and history with us and made it super interesting. Despite having travelled to a multitude of cities around the world, I felt Milan was a bit mysterious and impenetrable at first, despite reading my trusty guidebook (maybe it was just the heat and the Metro strike?). Booking a tour with Alisa in July 2019 changed all that (including a drop in temperature, making a 3 hour walk very pleasant - magic!). Alisa is friendly, enthusiastic and informative. Our walking tour covered all the usual tourist spots but also some of the interesting and beautiful sights of Milan I would never have found on my own, and certainly not as efficiently. Along the way she provided a fascinating history of Italy and Milan that I would never have gleaned from a guidebook, and she even provided recommendations of where was good to eat afterwards. The tour was worth every euro (and considering the awful pound to euro exchange rate at the moment - that is saying something!). I highly recommend taking a tour with Alisa. It made my trip - thank you!
