My husband and I had the best time on the Off Road Wine Tour! Tuscany Private Tours arranged three different tastings from small family vineyard to larger winery. Our guide, Chiara, was great company throughout the trip and was extremely knowledgable about the area and local wines. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a spectacular trip, and offered to take stops along the way for pictures. This was definitely the highlight of our Italy trip! Thank you, Chiara!

We have nothing but great things to say about our off road wine tour with Gabriel! It was great to drive around the country side in a 70s era Defender while our guide filled us in on the rich history of the area. All wineries/farms we visted were top notch in both service and quality of wine, food, honey etc. Highly recommend this activity!

We just finished an off road Tuscan wine tour from Castellina with Gabriele and it was a highlight of our three week trip! He took us through beautiful wine country with stunning views of vineyards and olive orchards. We visited three wineries which served delicious wine in amazing settings. Gabriele was very knowledgeable in answering all of our questions- Outstanding tour in every way- a MUST DO! We had a fantastic authentic lunch served at a small vineyard - with home made Tiramisu dessert to top it off!

The off road, winery tour with grape stomping experience was so fun. Our guide Filippo was very knowledgeable, and charming. The winery La Piaggia was set in a beautiful location. The organic wine and lunch were fabulous.

We had so much fun touring the Italian Wine Region! Our tour guide, Filippo, spoke great English and was so knowledge about the wines! We had a wonderful lunch with Silvia at her family’s winery! The Land Rover was in great condition and made for a unique way of touring the area. We loved the wines so much that we even ordered some to have shipped home! Filippo helped make the process very easy. My wife and I had a blast and highly recommend this tour!

We had an off-road wine tour of the Chianti region (6 hours). I could not recommend it highly enough. Leonardo, our host, was highly knowledgable and courteous and we visited 3 wineries all very different in style. At the second winery, a small family run operation, the owner Sylvia cooked us an authentic lunch overlooking the vineyards; some of the best food we have ever eaten Italy (the wild boar pappardelle was particularly memorable). Very good value for money, very authentic, cleanliness taken very seriously (the Land Rover 110 was immaculate - as was the luxury minibus that collected us from our hotel). A must do for anybody visiting the region. Just be prepared for a sleep afterwards.

I booked this tour for a group of 12 friends, it was wonderfully informative and fun. The tour guides Filipo and Paolo were very knowledgable, really funny and handled our groups shenanigans with much graciousness. They really made the tour a lot of fun. The food on this tour was some of the best I had in Italy. It is a very well rounded tour, visiting wineries of varying production capacities. We all thoroughly enjoyed the day and learned so much!

This wine tour was amazing! Our guide, Paola, spoke English very well, and was very knowledgeable, and experienced with wine and the growing and production of wine in this region. The jeep ride as a gas! He took us to three different wineries (large, small/family owned, and a local) and we learned so much. Tasted many great Chianti wines and learned about the quality control process and what the black rooster really means. We had a great, home cooked Italian lunch at the family-owned vineyard (cooked by the lady of the villa), outside overlooking a beautiful valley. It was so memorable. We also were able to pick a dozen wines that our guide will arrange to have sent to us in the USA. We would do this tour over and over again!

We LOVED our tour with Daniela earlier this week! She was not only hilarious but very informative - we learned a ton about the intricacies of wine in the Chianti region. She made us all feel comfortable, and she even picked us up at our hotel in the morning. All the wines we tasted were wonderful and our family of five adults thoroughly enjoyed the day. Our favorite stop was the family-run vineyard where we ate a phenomenal lunch made with ingredients from the family's beautiful farm. Each bruschetta we tried was delicious, as were the pastas, and the chocolate salami was borderline life-changing. We didn't feel rushed at all and our tour actually ended up being six hours instead of four. Our only criticism would be that the third winery tour was a bit repetitive and could have been shortened or skipped. Thank you for everything, Daniela! We love you!

Gaia is brilliant, she is so knowledgable about the wine the area and seems to really love what she does. Visited 3 winery’s of different sizes and tasted some beautiful wines. Lunch was at the smallest where there a real homely feel and some delicious honey, empty plates all round. Definitely worth the money, this is an Italian wine tasting so basically it’s half a glass per tasting. Made even better by the company we had on the tour which continued on into the night.

This is by far the best tour we took on a 2 week vacation in Italy. Our guide, Gia(?), was very knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming in introducing us to 3 wineries, including a family run winery in which a family style lunch was served. I would definitely recommend this tour.

This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. Our tour guide Gaia seemed to really love showing us the area, wineries, and getting to know us. She was also quite knowledgeable about wine and the area in general. We went to three amazing wineries, each one with its own distinct personality - and one, perhaps, with a ghost. The highlight of the day was having a home-cooked lunch at a family winery where they still have the old vines that were never grafted. The food and scenery - and of course the wines were amazing. Good thing that grandpa was not snoring because he was in the fields - ha ha. Mischa the kitty also stopped by to say hello. Gaia, thank you for showing us a great time! Just DO THIS!

3 wineries - all very different experiences! Martina was a lovely, knowledgable and helpful guide for the day as we toured to three very different wineries. The first, a more modern and larger scale production where we toured the winery and had their process explained to us before tasting 5 red wines and 2 grappas. The second winery was a mid-scale production with a very long history which wasn't the favourite location of any of our group. The third winery lives in a class of its' own! A small, family operation where we sat to have lunch made by a member of the family who runs the winery. The winery produces 15,000 bottles a year and their bottling/corking/labelling procedure is still done by hand - a testament to the beauty such a method can bring. The lunch was beyond anyone's wildest dreams (potentially the best pasta of my life) with antipasti, pasta and desert all made with fresh produce much of which was from the family's property and handmade. Martina made the whole experience so wonderful and even organised to have the wines we liked from the first and third winery sent home to Australia for us. Grazie Martina and our winery hosts for an amazing day.

Our tour of the Chianti region was one of the highlights of our three weeks in Italy! Our guide, Martina, was extremely knowledgeable and approachable. What a delightful young woman! The opportunity to see sights and wineries that were off the beaten path was truly a treat. the wines proved to be very good at all wineries we visited. As for lunch....it was a fantastic presentation of local farm to table fare. We would recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys good wine, food, and adventure!
