Tony was enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable! He also arrived right on time in a clean vehicle with chilled waters. Exactly what I was looking for in a tour guide.

We did two different tours several days apart. We were a group of 6 and had a wonderful time both days. Guides were informative, we had plenty of time in each place, and all of the places were absolutely worth going to. They will let you arrange your trip as you want it for your group which is great. Thanks Tony and Fernando

We had Felix Medina as our tour guide and he was fantastic. He picked us up at our hotel on time and we took off. We had originally planned an itinerary that went out the window when Felix told us that many streets were closed due to a teachers protest in Oaxaca. So, on the fly, we planned our own itinerary. Felix took us to a small, family run rug making operation where we had a private visit with the owner. We went through the dying process for the yarns and learned a great deal about where the colors came from. Then off to a potter where we watched her make a clay pot from basically just a hunk of clay. We had lunch at a place Felix knew of where there were just two tables and the owner sat with us. Excellent food. After lunch we had a private tour of Mt. Alban and then went and saw the largest tree in Mexico (maybe the world) in Tule. As far as I was concerned this was a must see as it is very relaxing to just sit under it. Then, back to the hotel around 4 or 5PM. Felix spoke excellent English and there was never a need to translate anything. We did take a pass on the waterfalls as it adds quite a bit of drive time to the tour. I would highly recommend this operation to anyone traveling to Oaxaca and in fact have already referred them to a couple of folks.

We just finished a full-day tour that included a stop for a delicious breakfast just before Hierve el Agua, followed by Mitla, a mezcal distillery tour and tasting, lunch and chocolate workshop with a local family, Teotitlan de Valle, and Tule tree. We cannot recommend this tour highly enough! Felix was fantastic, as well as each of the people we met along the way. It was a nearly 12-hour immersive experience that we will remember forever. Gracias, Oaxaca Conmigo family!

I highly recommend everything about Oaxaca Conmigo! Antonio booked exactly the tours we wanted, hanging with us as we considered multiple personalized options that fit our exact needs. He set us up with 3 tours over a week. All three were excellent. It was clear to us that Antonio has a good relationship with each of the artisans he took us to visit. This makes the experience more than your typical tour. He is knowledgeable about so many aspects of Oaxacan history and present-day culture and politics. We really enjoyed getting to know both him and Iveth, the tour guide on our first day. Both of them also hung with us as each tour ran long because we just couldn't bring ourselves to leave. Thank you, Antonio and Iveth, for three wonderful days!

We did a private two full day tours with Felix (speaks English very well) and both excellent. He was so accommodating to all of our needs. Our first day was to Monte Albán and the next day Hierve de Agua. Learned so much of the local culture through Felix and all the local guides. Highly recommend this team!

We did the all day Monte Alban and artisan Pueblo tour. Admission to Monte Albán is not included and I think it would be helpful to list the ticket price so visitors can plan for that. Also, it would be helpful to direct people to the ticket booth as it is not obvious. As local guides are used at the site, please include this information as well so those who wish to tip that guide can be prepared. The site is super interesting to those who enjoy history and learning about other cultures. The artisan villages were really interesting. It is amazing how much work , time, and talent is required for Alebrijes, black clay pottery, and weaving. Our guide, Felix, was engaging, accommodating, and fun.

What an amazing tour, with our wonderful driver/guide Felix. His knowledge was great, his English fantastic and his suggestions just fabulous. We had a day we won’t forget!

Felix was a good driver and guide. He is limited though at some sites due to local "rules" that require other guides to take over at that particular site. The wonderful thing about this tour is that you customize it based on what you want to see. On the other hand, they do have "pre determined" sites if that's an option you like. The car is nice and air conditioned. At Monte Alban and especially Hierve el Agua there is a LOT of walking and/or hiking involved.

Such a terrific day! Felix picked us up at our hotel and brought us to Monte Alban -- which blew us away. His English was good, but he was happy to let us practice our beginner Spanish too. We greatly enjoyed lunch at an artisan household, and getting to see how the family lives and works together in the family business -- making carved and painted alebrije figurines. A third highlight was a private tour and tasting at a remote mezcal distillery. None of the places pressured you to buy anything which was appreciated. I don't usually do tours when I travel, but I enjoyed the private tour so much that we're doing a second one in the same week to other sites.

Excellent tour around Oaxaca! Felix was a great tour guide providing great conversations and useful information about the area, its cuisine and culture. We enjoyed a wonderful mezcal tasting at a local distillery. We hiked around Hievre El Agua enjoying views of the waterfall and mountain vista. We also explored Monte Albán with the help of the tour guide Abraham. Would definitely recommend this group going forward. They helped us create a private tour that met our interests.

Our guide/driver Felix was amazing! We appreciated his attentiveness and flexibility. Our custom tour of Hierva el Agua, Mitla, Teotitlan de Valle, and Tule Tree were amazing. We were even able to add in workshops for beeswax candles and rugs/tapestries. Antonio was in charge of setting up our itinerary and contact through email could have been a bit more responsive but not a big deal as all discussed plans and the itinerary and times were spot on.

Jesus was a charming and personable driver, and very well- informed about the city and the region. At Monte Alban, he handed us over to Fabrizio, who knew everything about the place, and about archeology in general. Jesus picked it up from there and took us to three interesting crafts workshops.

We had a great tour. Felix was an excellent guide and provided a clean and comfortable experience while also providing excellent information along the way. Highly recommend this experience as a way to have a private tour of some of Oaxaca's best sites.

FANTASTIC! Everything about Oaxaca Conmigo Tours is five-star quality. I took my first tour with them in Jan 2023 and it was so good that I booked again when I returned with friends in Jan 2024. Both times our Conmigo driver was great. FELIX was our driver this year. I can’t say enough about him as a driver, guide and wonderful person. He was a joy to spend the day with, sharing his knowledge of history and culture as well as his personal story of growing up in this beautiful country. You don’t speak Spanish but would like to learn? Spend the day with Felix—he’s the guide for you.

Just got back from a 6 day tour to Oaxaca with Dan from Flip Flop Tours. Wonderful trip. Dan seemed quite comfortable travelling with 7 older gals! Lots of laughs, a wealth of information. He looked after our every need. The tour guides were great. The cooking class with Nora was so interesting and the end meal was wonderful. Loved the ruins at Monte Alban, and demonstrations for the alebrijes and carpet weaving were so informative. The weather was great as well. Take some extra pesos as you will want to shop for sure.
