Very enthusiastic guide that found us a beautiful spot to see the Northern Lights. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and have some lovely photos to prove it!

The driver/guide was nice and did a good job. I honestly enjoyed another company’s tour a little more.

Excellent excursion. Even though the chances of seeing The Nothern lights were not great due to the weather, our guide and driver Alan made incredible true! Using various maps, forecasts and apps, he found a suitable spot where we saw nothern light! We stayed there almost 3 hrs and we spotted The Nothern lights repeatedly. It was obvious that he understands his job. In addition, he prepared an interesting talk about The Nothern lights and also a small campfire with cake and hot tea/coffee. On the way back we came across another spot and the spectacle was awesome! I recommend it to everyone for this individual approach.

Truly incredible! Big thanks to our amazing guide, Alan (I think that's his name! A bearded guy with glasses?). Tromso was super cloudy so he quickly drove us about an hour away and we IMMEDIATELY found clear skies and the aurora. It was a great night and he took a bunch of pictures of us with the northern lights. Such a great and hyper guy! By 11 pm we were back in Tromso happy as a clam. Of course this is nature and he personally didn't "make" anything, but I don't know, Alan had a great vibe and I'm happy he was our guide that night. There are some other companies that offer tours in bigger buses (about 50 people), which I also booked, but honestly that was a little too much for me. So many people that don't know how to behave, so loud... kinda annoying overall. The mini bus was perfect, or maybe I was just lucky and the 15 people I shared the bus with were just normal, good functioning humans. Attached one of Alan's pictures!

Our guide Alan had only one purpose - to chase the lights which he perseveringly did- it was a successful evening to witness the lights several times. But he disappointed us in more ways than one. He was irrirated when we told him we were suffocating and needed air. He didnt make toilet stops until we insisted. He didnt offer suits and it was a freezing evening. People had to request for a bonfire. In summary Allan failed to take care of his costumers needs. Its a waste of money to book with this tour - the bus seats were extremely uncomfortable - we were slipping and sliding off our seats and the guide was driving at a speed that didnt feel safe.

Although the weather was not ideal and it took most of the night to find a powerful sighting of the Northern Lights, our driver (Allen) was extremely passionate, helpful, and devoted to finding all of us a good spot and chasing the lights late into the night.

Our Tourguide Alan is very experienced , so he took us to a place some 50 km north of Tromsø. We had a very good night with northern lights for two hours. It was absolutely impressive. Alan gave us a lot of information about the lights and also helped fellow travelers with advice regarding their foto equipment. He also took pictures of participants in front of the lights, if wanted. Finally the evening ended with a little campfire and cake with tea or coffee. All in all we were back after six hours. We can recommend the organization without any limitations. Thanks to Alan for the wonderful evening.

Our guide Andrei was fantastic. He gave us lots of insight into how the guides use different methods to gage the likelihood of seeing the Aurora in the region. The cake and hot drinks was a lovely touch to keep everyone’s spirits up in the cold and in the end for us we were very lucky and it was all worth the wait!! Thank you!

Our guide was perfect! Very knowledgeable. There should have been a warning for: No Bathroom Bring passport in case we travelled to Finland or Sweden.

My son and I absolutely loved our trip with this company. I believe our guide was Allen (I’m sorry if I have that wrong) who did a great job. Everything about it was brilliant. Highly recommend if you want to avoid large groups. We were very very lucky to see the northern lights and the campfire and cake was a really nice touch. If I could suggest anything, milk and sugar for the coffee but that was literally all I can suggest as an improvement. Would certainly book again next time I’m here

We did our tour on the 25th January with Andrei. It started off a cloudy night for the first few hours but we drove out to a beautiful setting and he set up a camp fire with cake and hot drinks. He told us about the Aurora and then around 9.30pm we headed off to a place where the sky had cleared and saw the most amazing Aurora including the dancing Aurora. He ensured we all saw it, got photos and checking we were ok and warm enough. We were also one of the last tours back to town. Thank you so much.

We went on a tour on 18th January (sadly we can’t remember his name) our tour guide was amazing and so friendly. We drove for just over an hour and then stopped by the side of the road to see the start of aurora, at first it was very faint and only visible through the camera. Be aware a lot of the time you cannot see the colours of the aurora, it looks more like a streaky cloud. We got some great photos, showing the vibrant colours and then sat down around a fire our tour guide made. He then explained what causes the aurora and he was really informative and open to any questions we had. Then suddenly we started to see the aurora starting again, and in minutes it went from a streak to the whole sky filled with dancing aurora. It was so amazing!! What made it even more exciting, was how excited our tour guide was and he quickly took us for some stunning photos by some water. It lasted only for about 10-15 but we could see it so clearly with our own eyes. It was more than we could’ve imagined, what topped it off though was having such a lovely tour guide who was excited for us to experience it all. We would highly recommend. Be aware, I think we were extremely lucky to see what we saw and it’s definitely not a guarantee to see it.

Absolutely fantastic experience! Do not hesitate to use this company for your tour, our guide was brilliant. A friendly guide and excellent driver. He drove us for many hours all the way into Finland, so we could have the best chance of a clear view of the aurora. It worked for us, we saw the northern lights! He built us a fire, provided thermal suits, tea and cake and explained things perfectly when we asked questions. He was very knowledgeable regarding the science of the aurora, the stars and planets. Camera tripods are provided should you need them, our guide took some brilliant photos for us, which are included and available to download after the tour. I felt very well looked after at all times. Our guide also had fantasic taste in music, Pink Floyd on the bus sound system! Wonderful. A fantastic experience, many thanks to our excellent guide and driver. Takk. Tour taken 9-10/1/24 from Tromso

Alan picked us up on time. He was energetic and gave us a summary of the lights and what to expect that evening. Nothing was guaranteed - can't control the lights, but he would try his best to get us to a spot where we could see them if they appeared. Our first stop wasn't too far away; his info was suggesting some activity within 30-40 minutes. He was helpful with tripods for folks with cameras and was trying to help us adjust the settings on our 35mm digital camera so we could capture the lights. It was way too cold; fingers were getting numb. We were there for about an hour. You could stand outside or sit in the bus, but the minibus door was left open, so it wasn't warm in there. We then went to our next stop - south of Tromso rather than north or east, which surprised us, but Alan knew what he was doing. The next stop was brief. He didn't think the view would be ideal, so we ventured on another 10 minutes and finally stopped on a beach type area in front of a lake, or inlet. The view was beautiful with mountains on the other side of the water. He went to start a fire for us but then saw some lights, so we all rushed out. They weren't that bright, but we saw them. Again, he helped folks with cameras and provided tripods, and he also took pictures of everyone. After a while, the lights died down and he got back to the fires - two with stools around them. Everyone got a loaf of strawberry pound cake and a hot drink. And then the lights came out again, this time stronger and longer, morphing, moving - it was magical. Again he took pictures of everyone and helped with cameras. The fire helped a bit, as did the thermal suits they provided, but our feet, particularly toes, were freezing. Highly suggest electric heating socks if you want to be comfortable in the below zero weather; we had the old toe warmer packs, which did not do much good. We gave up on our 35mm camera at the first stop. This picture was taken with an iPhone 14 Pro Max. Alan got us to an amazing spot for photographs. No other group was around - we had the place to ourselves. He was very helpful throughout the night. Did a great job with the fires, too. A few days later, we received the link to our photos that he took with his camera. Thank you, Alan, for a truly wonderful experience! Highly recommend this tour.

Alan the driver (and guide) did a fantastic job to take us to Finland when the weather conditions were not optimal for chasing northern lights in Tromso. His expertise in spotting sites with potentially higher chances of seeing the lights is marvelous. He did not drive all the way back once we saw the lights, but stopped several times during way back to look for more lights. His professionalism is very much appreciated. Kudos to him

We had a great night with a fun guide. He did his best to keep everyone comfortable and told stories and jokes. :) he also helped me with the settings of my camera to capture the northern light and I got some great shots! The cosy fire and yummy cake and hot beverage were highly appreciated. Thank you Alin! The crowd wasn’t always easy 😅
