Amazing tour of the Normandy coast in our WWII Jeep! You get to travel back in time and explore the battles of D-day! It was powerful and emotional to walk the beaches where our brave men fought! With this tour I got visit the grave of my young cousin that was killed in this battle at the Normandy American Cemetery! Would highly recommend this Jeep tour! Our guide did an amazing job!

This tour was worth every penny. Sitting in an authentic military vehicle gave us a better perspective and visualization of the entire tour. Vincent gave a thorough explanation of the historical events of Dday and combined it with interesting stories of people's real life occurrences during the war. The photos he showed gave us a visusl of the sacrifices endured. His ability to provide the technical aspect of the artillary was helpful in understanding the history that occured. As we came upon the hedge rows, he stopped the jeep to explain the german tactics for destroying the column which gave us a feel for what it was like. We would highly recommend this tour for those that want a boots on the ground understanding of wwii.

This was the best and engaging tour my family went on during our time in Normandy. The guide was informative, we never felt rushed and everyone loved riding in the jeep. It was a very emotional trip and at the end of the tour we made it for the TAPS ceremony in the American cementary which was very moving.

The tour was amazing! Got to see many of the significant locations from the D-Day invasion with a great guide in an awesome original “Willy” Jeep. David is a knowledgeable, multilingual, friendly guide who made sure the tour went great. Highly recommend!

Absolutely AMAZING !!!!!! Most definitely worth it. This trip is fantastic! !!!!!!! Very informative fun and quite moving in parts. We had Eric for our guid, he was a warm and bubbly Canadian who made the trip what it was. He was very knowledgeable about the whole aspect of WWII. Eric picked us up in his Willys Jeep, after a warm welcome and introduction we were off on our adventure. On the way to our first stop Eric took us off the beaten track down some amazing off road cut through tracks that were used by the soldiers during the war. At each stop Eric explained all the history and part each place played in the war. The weather was atrocious but was soon forgotten with the true nostalgia of the trip. This is a tour like no other that is not to be missed, highly recommended.

Great tour with Vincent and David in 2 jeeps with our 3 girls (10,10,8). They were very friendly knowledgeable and flexible to work with. The open air jeep ride was great and the visit to Omaha beach and the cemetery was moving

What an amazing experience. My son and husband love history and this tour definitely fueled their passion. David is an amazing tour guide, providing information, and answering questions. Driving in a WW II keep through the backroads is a one of kind experience. After reading the reviews, I had high expectations and David surpassed them. A must do tour.

What an incredible day we had! Learning about the history of this special place from the view of 1946 Jeep was just so amazing. Vincent gave us an afternoon that we will never forget. He is passionate about what he does and it’s evident in his tours. Incredible day, highly recommend!!

We had an outstanding tour experience with Gold Beach Company on October 21, 2022. Our guide Vincent was wonderful and extremely knowledgeable about the history of the D-Day landings. Vincent was waiting at the Bayeux train station for my wife and me in his Willys Jeep when we arrived from Paris. We spent the next four hours with him visiting Arromanches, Longues sur Mer battery, Omaha Beach, and the US military Cemetary and Memorial. Tremendously worthwhile and moving. A highlight of our trip.

The jeep tour was worth every penny! Arnold was a great guide. His knowledge was on point and we learned more on this trip about the invasion and how the Allied forces started their effort to free France.

The trip was phenomenal. Everyone on the big tour buses that we saw was envious that they hadn’t chosen the jeep tour. Our tour guide Kate was so knowledgeable and passionate about The invasion and shared stories from her own families history living there for generations. Going through the villages and back roads gave you a look back in time that the big buses just can’t because of their size. It was a wonderful day on a original WW2 jeep and would recommend this trip 100%.

Eric, our guide, was outstanding. Knowledgeable and fun. The ride is bumpy, to be sure, but the experience is poignant, and important. Highly recommend.

It was an awakening experience to see where the D-Day invasion took place. Riding in the jeep made it very special, getting a better perspective of what the soldiers of both the Allies and the Germans where experiencing. Our driver, Arnold, was very knowledgeable about the invasion giving us a better understanding of what took place that day.

I booked 2 WW2 jeeps with Gold Beach Company for 6 people. We scheduled a private 9 hour tour. All 6 of us listed this tour of Normandy as the highlight of our entire European vacation, which included 3 other countries and some other amazing experiences. Vincent (one of the owners) and Eric were our tour guides and drivers. I've never sat in a Willys Jeep before, but this perfectly vintage one from 1943 was soooo much fun. We are all large men, and had a bit of trouble climbing in and out, the only drawback of the day. However, part of the day included driving off-road a bit, which again, was just pure fun. Now about the tour. Ask for Eric. He is the most amazing storyteller. It never felt like a rehearsed tour. He is Canadian, and had a close relative perish on D-Day, so his re-telling of the people and battles was personal and intimate. I could have listened to him for another 9 hours! We saw other bus tours along the way, and trust me, there is no other way to go than a small tour with Gold Beach.

We had an amazing time! Phillippe was a great guide! He was really knowledgeable about D Day and world War ll in general. Do take a jacket, it get's chilly on the ride. I had on shorts and a tank top, he was nice enough to stop so I could buy a jacket. Seeing the cemetary and the American flag ceremony was very moving! It really puts it in perspective. Highly reccomend!

We went for the half day jeep tour with our awesome guide, Vincent. He was very knowledgeable and brought to life many of the key events of the D-day invasion. As a WW2 history buff, riding around in a vintage jeep was the coolest way to see the beautiful coastline and learn about one of the most important events in history. Highly recommended to anyone with an interest in the period.
