A long and very powerfully moving day - Omaha beach, the museum, the cemetery. Very comfortable van transport and a very knowledgeable and engaging host. Get coffee and a croissant while waiting to leave, it’s a long drive!

Very informative and sobering visit to the WWII battlefield. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly in discussing the June 6 landing. The cemetery was especially moving and memorable.

Julian was very informative and well prepared for our visit. Visiting this area and especially Pointe du Hoc was a great personal experience. WWII hero Bud Lowell and all others who served there made our freedom possible. We will be forever grateful for their bravery and courage!

Bruno was an excellent guide. Could not have asked for better Knowledgeable , friendly and just all around very personable ! Despite the rainy weather he extended the day long enough for us for us to see the American flags lowered at the cemetery while playing Taps. It was a very moving moment and much appreciated. Normandy was sad and sureal and beautiful all at the same time. Bruno complemented the trip very well.

Our guide Aaron was incredible and brought to life the details, strategy and sacrifices of the American soldiers on D-Day. Highly recommend using Blue Fox and specifically request Aaron as your guide!

Such a sight to see and pay respect to the thousands of soldiers, most so young, who died on these beaches. This allowed Allied forces to get a foot on the ground of Nazi-occupied Europe on D-Day. Normandy is beautiful and peaceful now. It's many villages still remain mostly intact, thankfully. The Germans who'd commandeered many homes were surprised by the attack and fled without time to destroy everything, although too much was. This particular tour allowed us to literally drive right to the edge of Omaha Beach. We had something like five stops, German bunkers, Omaha Beach, the Overlord Museum, the Rangers' cliff climb, the cider tasting (which I didn't even want to go to but loved!) and the American Cemetery in perfect time for lowering of the flags and Taps. I was decrepit from a fall at Montmartre the day before and thought I'd have to cancel. I'm so glad I didn't. The rides from site to site gave me time to recover and the fabulous Bruno, our driver/guide, let me know what ambulatory requirements were coming so I even sat out the Ranger cliff. I still saw so much. I can't thank you enough Bruno for everything you did for me. I can't urge anyone strongly enough to take a Blue Fox tour. I took two; this solo to Normandy and another to Giverny and Auvers Sur Oise with my sister. What I received in return for the few extra dollars these small 8-person van tours cost was incalculable. This included an expert driver/guide experienced with the destination, personable and English speaking. The small group allowed all of us to ask anything about what we saw. Have no fear of booking a tour with Blue Fox.

Aaron was awesome! There was four groups that showed up. A gentleman split us up perfectly. We had a group of three and they allowed us to be put with the younger group which fit our ages (28-35). Aaron was very knowledgeable and funny. I would recommend this tour to anyone!

Seeing Omaha Beach and the cliffs and the bunkers up close was very special. The American Cemetery was humbling and I am so grateful to these brave men who sacrificed their lives for our freedom.

We were disappointed in our guide. His English was poor and he was very difficult to understand (and I speak conversational French!). He seemed to have no passion for the sites we were visiting, so at one point we latched onto the end of another tour, which was a much better experience. And while I understand that he didn’t want to disturb people who might have wanted to sleep on the long ride, it would have been nice if he had described our locations or some history as we were on the road. We were also surprised that on a tour with a total van time of 6 hours, there was no bottled water available. The itinerary of the tour itself was great—lots to see and do and LEARN. But we felt we could have learned more with a more knowledgeable guide.

A very solemn experience in a sacred location. The small group tour was key. Our guide Felipe made all the difference in the world. He was so knowledgeable, patient and a wonderful personality

The tour itself was very moving. The four of us on this tour were quite impressed. Our tour guide was knowledgeable but was not as personable as other guides we have had in the past. Overall the experience was definitely worth it. However from Paris in a small mini van it was an extremely long day.

Antoine was wonderful. Fantastic day trip. The most moving and memorable experience. Standing where history happened opens one’s eyes to the absolute horror of war and how people came together to support democracy and freedom.
