My brother and I drove from Houston to Nola. The construction on the first 8 miles into Louisiana made an 5 1/2 hr trip 8 hrs. Note to Paul: The welcome sign on both sides is MIA because of this as the Texas one is still up and easy to spot. Anyway, having this tour on our first day was such a needed, refreshing and welcomed experience to counter the drive. For one, you don't have to drive. Two, you will get a timely pick-up with all the information you need to navigate around. We appreciated that and all the jokes. It was as if we were visiting with a good friend. It gave us confidence to venture out and navigate around. For those who may not know if your street is missing a sign look down on the corner the name is there. That saved us every time. Also, if your on the tour record what you can so you can go back. It makes a return trip that much easier and Paul doesn't mind 😁. He's worth the booking and you will see a lot in 2 hrs. Thank you, see ya again maybe next year.

We were with two friends who had never been to the Big Easy. This was a pleasant tour, but the guide was very adamant he only gives facts, no ghosts etc. Made the tour a little dry as it felt as if being read and all of us were quite honestly a little bored. He drove you around to each area and provided info about each spot. Unfortunately, a couple of the cemeteries are closed so we couldn't go in but that's not the guide's fault. Guide was frequently commenting that his business relies on 5 star reviews. So you can make your own assumptions about that. His vehicle is a Rav4 and only fits 4 people, 3 in the back. He's upfront about that. Two of us are on the smaller side, but that back seat was quite close. A bigger vehicle would have been more comfortable unless there are only three of you. We did not get out of that cramped car to wande each area, but I guess he does say its a driving tour. We did 6 tours while we were there and this one fell at #5. It's adequate for an overview of the city.

Paul was such a great tour guide! He was very knowledgeable on all of NOLA and made the tour interesting and fun! He made us laugh and we had a great time!

Paul made our first day in New Orleans so memorable! This is a man who loves his native city. Knowledgeable, funny, polite and so invested in ensuring we had an incredible day. Paul come visit us in PA whenever you want!

Really enjoyed this. Recommend the VIP as the smaller group dynamic made for a more personalized experience (and a good way to meet some new people if that's your thing).

We had a great tour and saw a lot of New Orleans we’d never seen before on other trips. He gave us lots of info as well as seeing some of the best of the best - highly advise this private tour if you are not a larger group than he can take in his vehicle

Paul was a fantastic guide - you can tell from the moment he introduced himself he loves this city and wants you to love it too. He shared so much about each area and really took his time explaining the history and significance of each area. He made sure we had dining and entertainment mapped out for the remainder of our trip. We took all of his suggestions and had a blast.

A good trip thru the city, showing what the WHOLE city feels like. Yes, French Quarter was covered, but real, local neighborhoods... Passing by schools and grocery stores, driving on side streets and boulevards. He's a lifer, a local, and will respond if you have questions. I asked a specific question and he changed plans on the spot to fit it into the journey.

Uncle Paul took us (my 8yo son, 5yo daughter and myself) on a driving tour around NOLA. I was so impressed with his ability to curate the tour to the kids. They learned so much more than I expected and were telling our friends and family all about it when we got home. I loved how he pointed out kid friendly places for them to connect to on the tour-a beautiful library for a school, stop at the playground, playing at the big oak trees and so much more. He went above and beyond when he was getting my daughter excited about the playground and went down the slide himself. :) I didn't expect them to really hold onto much of the info from that day b/c we fit a lot in but I can tell they really were listening and absorbing so much of what Paul spoke about. I think in part b/c of his delivery but also b/c of his warm, friendly demeanor. He really knows his stuff and is a genuinely kind person to meet who loves his city. Super recommend to all.

We have been to New Orleans many times. Our time spent with Paul and Sharon provided more information packed into a short time frame than any other prior experience. If looking for value coupled with knowledge we highly recommend this tour. You will not be disappointed. With the exception it came to an end.

I had been to NOLA several times in the past but Paul took us to places we had never had the chance to see before. Paul loves his hometown and is a wealth of information and made us feel welcome. Such great photo opportunities and recommendations for can’t miss experiences. I would recommend this tour to anyone both first time visitor and someone looking for a new experience

Wow!! It was my Friends first time here in Nola and I will be moving here. Paul was phenomenal! He knows his City and is passionate about it. This was an informative, fact correcting tour. No gimmicks. He even pointed out place that were for rent along our route that was safe for me and my pets. He stopped the car, I took a photo of the property and got a phone number for the rental. Then we continued on our tour. He is a a native New Orleans. Suggested restaurants ( la couchon) was absolutely the most tantalizing meal ever! Thank you Paul. If you want to discover and learn about the wonderful city of New Orleans, look no further. We did a 2-hour tour with Paul on our first day. So glad we did as it was a wonderful introduction to the city and a great orientation, which enabled us to return at our leisure to points of interest close to our hotel. Paul took us through the French Quarter, Jackson Square, Garden District, Metairie Cemetery and City Park. His commentary on each area was interesting and informative. We so enjoyed our time with Paul that we booked him the next day to take us further afield to Houmas House and gardens, the swamp boat tour and Oak Alley plantation. We spent most of the day together. Paul gave us a detailed history of the various places we visited. Paul was more than happy to stop so we could take photos. He also provided a page of helpful tips and suggestions for some great restaurants and sights to see. So, what sets Paul’s tours apart from others? Firstly, the man himself. Paul is personable, friendly with a great sense of humor. By the second day it felt like we were out driving with a friend. Paul’s knowledge of his city is incredible and there wasn’t any question he couldn’t answer. Tell him what you want to do and see and he will make it happen. He made our trip to New Orleans very memorable.

Prior to coming out to New Orleans I was a little apprehensive about the city was as far as safe and clean. We arrived Friday and enjoyed walking Bourbon street. It was great. We met Paul Saturday morning. He was delightful and full of knowledge. He catered to our way we wanted to see the city. Very informative and able to answer a lot of questions. He was passionate about the city he loves and was able to give interesting highlights and stories from over the years. He spent time in the right places. Those concerns about the city were laid to rest after our tour with Paul. He makes you want love the city and definitely will be back to enjoy all the local recommendations we were not able to get to this time around.
