We had the pleasure of having Yutaka Yoshida as our guide. You won’t find a better walking tour guide let alone food tour. Very friendly, personable, funny, and knowledgeable. We had a great time. I would absolutely recommend.

Hikaru was incredibly knowledgeable and his English was great! The spots he took us to were all incredible and all of his recommendations were a hit!

Tammy is nice and informative about nishiki market area, about the geikos/ maikos, taught us how to pay respect at the shrines and introduced traditional items and snacks/food to us. I wish the tour included a visit to the pagoda in Gion. I was expecting to see a little bit of the famous Gion street.

Hikaru was very knowledgeable and very helpful! Two thumbs up! Walking through Nishiki market was a blast.The lunch is especially great for vegetarian travelers.

We loved everything about this tour and Yu was a fabulous guide. There was so much to see and taste in the market and brunch at the end was very yummy. Highly recommend.

A solid exploration, quite a few food spots to try things. Lunch was tasty too, got authentic tofu skin dish, which is something I wouldn’t have tried before. Wish we got some samples from the street included in the price but our tour guide was super sweet and spoke excellent English!

Hikaru was our guide, and he was amazing! We had visitors from multiple countries in our group and he connected with everyone. The tour was informative and at a relaxing pace. Learning about Kyoto and the Nishiki Market area was wonderful. I highly recommend this tour for any visitor in the Kyoto area.

Hikaru was extremely friendly, kind, and funny! A wonderful tour guide and I am sad to see him off. Very knowledgeable and personable, waited patiently for our members with a baby. If you want to stop somewhere just ask and he will be happy to explain or give you time. Thank you for the tour!

Yutaka was a very knowledge and thoughtful guide. He talked a lot about Kyoto in general and the Nishiki market. He made sure that all food allergies are taken care of.

Yuna was a great guide. Good English wide knowledge and enthusiasm. The market is well worth seeing. Brunch itself was large and tasty.
