When going to a foreign country that is completely unfamiliar to you, it takes a bit of research and whole lot of luck to find someone who is just the right fit for your journey. Fortunately for us, Sherif, the guide assigned to us for our Nile Cruise, was exactly that. He COULD just have ticked all the boxes when it came to guiding us on our tours and managing our experience, but instead he went the extra mile, every step of the way. One example was when our flight from Abu Simbel to Aswan was delayed to the point we would have missed all the excursions on the first day of the cruise. Sherif calmly suggested an alternative itinerary that both allowed us to enjoy all the included excursions AND ensure a smooth, timely check-in to our cruise. He made sure we understood that the arrangements were fluid and that we could, at any time, choose to move things around (within reason) to accommodate our needs. As a guide, he is both knowledgeable and engaging. He found a balance between being informative and entertaining, and never once did he "over communicate" or leave us confused with an info dump - something we have experienced with other guides before. Instead, he drew us into the mystery and history of the various sites, from Philae Temple and the Luxor complex to the Valley of the Kings, with simple yet eye-opening storytelling, ensuring we understood the overarching plots so as to better enjoy the intimate details behind everything from the rise and fall of Egyptian dynasties, to the concept of mummification, to the importance of floods in ancient engineering. (You'll have to ask him about it if you have the chance). He will also furiously debunk your thoughts of alien conspiracies in the building of pyramids and instead insist on the mathematical genius of his ancestors - feel free to debate and argue with him! Another prime example of Sherif's "above and beyond" motto is his insistence in keeping contact even after the tour had ended. We had planned to stay a few more days in Luxor after the cruise, and at one point were having difficulty arranging transportation. Without hesitation, Sherif set about making arrangements for us, no questions asked, and even offered to take us around, as a Luxor-born native himself. Suffice to say, he made our trip exceptionally comfortable and meaningful, and whatever gratuities we could give him in the end hardly made up for it. We do hope to see him again if we ever return to Egypt, and more importantly, we hope that many other travellers will have the pleasure of having him on their adventures, too!

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely 4 day/3 night Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor onboard the Steigenberger Minerva cruise. Mai from Nile Cruisers did an excellent job finding us this wonderful cruise. She was responsive, professional, and accommodating. The cruise itself was really nice. The rooms were clean and a good size for a cruise. The food was exceptional and the staff was wonderful. The Wi-Fi was not the best but we were busy all the time with a full itinerary so it was not an issue. We were greeted at the airport in Aswan by the Nile Cruisers staff and we were transferred via a clean, air conditioned vehicle with a good driver. Throughout our stops in Aswan, Kom Ombo, and Luxor we were transported via clean, spacious, and nicely air conditioned vehicles. Our tour guide, Mr. Mohamed Ahmed did an excellent job throughout our time on the cruise. We learned so much from him about all the historic sites. Mohamed Ahmed was punctual, courteous, and an absolute joy to work with. His superior language skills and vast Egyptology knowledge made our tours fun and educational. As a local to Luxor, we were fortunate to have him as our guide. All in all, this was a safe, fun, and wonderful experience.

Ahmed Elsayed was our guide for the Nile Cruise. He is an exceptional guide and person. He was very good communicating the site’s rich history in an interesting and fun way. More importantly he was very good in figuring out our preferences and meeting them fully- every arrangement made was right on point. Finally seeing the Egypt 🇪🇬 in person was a dream come true. I was doing this solo and I was never alone! My tour guide Ahmed elsayed was by my side and providing me with the best care. He was careful to make me feel informed with his knowledge of the history and respected my need to be just quiet and still in the moment. We had a great time on the trip - we had 2 teens and a toddler, and everything was easy and enjoyable the entire trip. Transportation was provided to and from each and every site, all issues went through our tour guide Muhammed Kinawi who was great and easy to work with and accommodating to any special requests. The staff was great, very friendly, buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was delicious and the views of the Nile were incomparable. A good mix of relaxing time and visiting historic sites.

Trip was very efficient and economical. Our Tour Guide, Mohammed Kinewi, took his time to accommodate our every needs. With so much history of the land, he was well versed and spoke very good English. The cruise crew was very friendly and good food selection. ًAmeneties were great.

We booked via Nike cruisers a tour to Abu Simbel, a cruise from Aswan to Luxor with le fayan and the transfer from Luxor to Hurghada. Thanks to our wonderful guide Mostafa Hefni we had an amazing journey. We learnt a lot about the 30 dynasties, different kingdom periods and the goddesses Mostafa also flexibly rearranged our itinerary so that we could cover all the sights we wanted to see in the least stressful way. He also made sure that we finally found our way to our destination in el gouna - when explaining the way to our driver via phone. The ship le fayan was very comfortable and the food really excellent. The only downside was that the cabins have no windows to open, so that when the AC was on the air got a bit smelly. Overall we felt very safe and well looked after and enjoyed the tour very much. We will return home with lots of wonderful pictures and memories. Thank you Mostafa !

Our whole experience was absolutely fantastic. The ease with which the Nile Cruisers team aranged and executed our tour was awesome! Our guide Sherif couldn't have been better. His knowledge and passion for Egyptian history was breathtaking. We are picked up with a comfortable car and a guide from the Hotel. Our guide Sherif was very experienced and helpful in all manners. He showed us all the important thing to see and also let us buy the good quality products like hand made stones, oils and cotton products. We are very happy with their service. Our cruise was with a private guide for me and my partner, that was a good point. The guide was explaining directly to us and he was always there to answer all our questions. A good point of the cruise (concerto) is that all cabins have windows, but most of the time you're on the port and depend if the boat is the first one or other as they are parked in rows you will see either the port or the next boat, so without any view. We are vegetarian, we question during the reservation process and was confirmed that in the buffet they include options. However, unless that you just eat potatoes and rice the food was not good and without reasonable options. In one of the nights was offered falafel, outside this the options were real poor. Note that we're available 3 meat options and one fish. Why not a vegetarian or vegan one? Egyptian food is full of vegetarian dishes. Besides, the room was good but the bathroom has a strange smell, somehow like fish. It could be it is the same to all cruises. In our opinion, the boat as well as many things in Egypt are focused on selling stuff to the people. There are shops in the boat, massage, photos and drinks and the staff is pressing you to buy things on board. In summary, our experience is that to visit upper Egypt is the best option due to you are fully guided and you're being able to visit lot of Egyptian museums and temples in just 3 days. Besides understand what you are seeing. As an overall experience was good.

We book this tour and we can say with all our heart, we don't regret at all. It was a wonderful experience. Zero worries, everything was taken in charge. Having never been to this part of the world before, we thought it would be best to have a professional guide show us around instead of going on our own. We were so glad we did. It made a HUGE difference. Thanks to our guide, Mohamed Ahmed, we had a great experience. Mohamed was a great guide and was a vast wealth of information. He explained that not only had he received formal training for a very long time on how to be a guide and the knowledge that it required, but he did everything he could to make sure that my wife and I had as good as an experience as we could have hoped for. He was with us every step of the way over the days that we had booked. My advice? Spend the money, hire a guide and ask for Mohamed Ahmed specifically. You won't regret it.

Mohammed was a fabulous tour guide and he made our trip so memorable. He has an indepth understanding of the history and was very patient with our innumerable questions. We booked our Luxor to Aswan Nile cruise via Nile Bookings The cruise itself was great, really nice boat, extremely friendly staff that went out of their way to make you feel comfortable.
