Positives: Interesting and informative tour. My original reason for booking this tour was for the history. I was not so much sold on the paranormal side. Miranda is a great tour guide. Her humor and how she handles the possibilities of ghosts and paranormal activity was very enjoyable. She did provide EMF meters a parabolic microphone that we shared with the other people in the tour. Using the dowsing/divining rods to communicate was interesting as well. Everyone in the group seemed to enjoy themselves. She explained things well and had plenty of stories and interesting facts. It is short walk from the starting point. Basically walk up W. McMicken Ave. towards Elm Street. Turn left down Elm street to Findlay Street. Another left down Findlay street over to Race St. turn right at race street and up to Findlay Market Square. The brewery tunnel entrance is at Findlay Market Square. Once you go down into the basement for access to the tunnels more things are explained to you. Be careful going down the stairs into the tunnel they are tricky. Once in the tunnels she tells of her personal experiences as well as previous guests experiences. You have about 20 minutes of self exploration once you are down there after she gets you acclimated. If dust and moist air bother you may want to bring a mask. Also if you are into paranormal and ghost hunting I think their equipment is in limited quantity. We had a small group of 5 people which was nice. There are four tunnels so after the initial explanation we basically split off and we did not interfere with the other group of three. If you are not into the ghost and paranormal things the tour was worth it just for the history as well as Miranda's witty humor. Very fun date night/birthday celebration experience. Negatives: Google maps had us driving around the brewery and trying to go down roads that say no entry. The terminal for the electric tram that runs up and down Race and Elm St has a road that Google tries to tell you to turn down but it has no entry signs at both ends. There is paid public parking right on the corner of W. McMicken and Race street just go there and Northern Row Brewery is adjacent to the parking lot. American Legacy Tours, Trip advisor, and Northern Row Brewery could do better on providing what to expect. I personally am the type that just shows up and does his thing but for people that like to research, read and plan the current setup through American Legacy Tours is not ideal. Actually the explanation and information undersells the tour. That is just my opinion so take that for what it's worth.

Do to technical difficulties with directions, things started off shaky and it could have ruined our experience, but our tour guide Miranda came thru and made it one of the the best ghost tours we've experienced, and we've been on many across the country. Becci and Bryan

The Nightmare on Elm Street Tour was amazing! Our tour guide, Breslin, was informative, personable and so much fun. American Legacy Tours happily rescheduled our original reservation without hesitation. Loved everything about the tour, but the highlight was definitely the tunnels. Highly recommend this 5 star adventure!

Our tour guide was Miranda and she did a fabulous job! She was very knowledgeable and the stories she told us were very interesting. She answered all our questions. We loved this tour most of all because we also got to participate. It was cool going in the tunnels and using the equipment to try and contact spirits. We got some cool pix and some very spooky interaction using the rods. I would 💯 recommend this tour to anyone who lives to go on ghost tours. Thanks Miranda for a spooky Friday the 13th! It was a perfect night!!

My daughter and I had an enjoyable time with Miranda our tour guide. Very knowledgeable, lots of stories and very friendly. Recommend anyone to go and do the tour. They say when doing these tours your battery on your cell phones will drain. Did not experience that but I can say my fob to my car did not work when we were leaving. Next day my fob is fine.

Miranda was wonderful for a felon. Made contact with a female spirit named Faye. Even using a cane I still managed to finish the tour. Miranda even said she would give me a note to get out of cardiac rehab.

We took the Nightmare on Elm Street tour on Sunday, October 2. This was a new tour for American Legacy, and the tour guide Miranda was excellent. She was clearly well prepared for the tour, and was a pleasure to listen to, learn from, and chat with along the way. We laughed so hard at some of Miranda's jokes that we will remember them in the future. In addition to the tour stops, which included an underground beer tunnel, we got to see Northern Row Brewery for the first time and learn about its history. Hidden gem in the city! If you want an excellent tour with an adorable Austrialian-accented tour guide, look no further than Miranda's Nightmare on Elm Street!
