This attraction is a must see if visiting BUDAPEST. myself and my partner visited April 2024 and had the best experience. The man who worked the front desk was absolutely brilliant and couldn't of been more friendly offering too take pictures and showing us our video from the attraction. The actors were brilliant, a lot of fun and stayed in character throughout. They did touch you however all this is explained at the start and was never in an aggressive way, was either too freak/ creep you out or too guide you too the next part of the attraction. It was the right amount of scary and fun and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Would recommend too anyone visiting BUDAPEST!!

It was brilliant! Stumbled on it by accident while visiting Budapest and it ended up being probably the best part of our trip! Much scarier than expected, but very funny as well, we came out screaming and laughing our heads off. Brilliant actors and sets and customer service, definitely would recommend on all counts, 10/10. Comes across as a passion project for everyone working there

Definitely the highlight of our trip in Budapest so far!! Perfect for horror fans since there’s a lot of references to the genre, but as fun for people new to the horror community! I went with two friends, and it felt like the perfect amount of people to go with. The actors were amazing, and the staff was super nice! Exceeded my expectations 100%! Perfect balance between scary stuff and campy humor! Thank you <3

It was really scary i dropped my heart there. It was a real nightmare as it says and i truly recommend it. It is better to go with more peple!

Excellent jump scare! Very interactive the actors do touch you and use real axes, I screamed non stop, we laughed, screamed and were generally down right petrified throughtout, loved every minute, and they even sent us a video of our trauma lol!!!

Super spontaneous visit, very friendly staff. The actors really did put their hearts into the performance. Totally worth trying especially when visiting with friends!

This is just the perfect haunted house. Excellent actors and the horror tomos are perfect! I have 27 years attending to halloween horror night at universal and also haunted houses in orlando, new York prague, Dubai and this one is perfect. I will return in a couple of daus

I came here with my girlfriend in Feb - we had a great time would 100% recommend. We booked last minute onto the mental asylum special night. It was more funny than scary however a few jumpy bits when the lights go out :) a definite must when visiting Budapest! The guy on reception is lovely and very friendly thank you!

We randomly stumbled upon the Nightmare in Budapest sign while we were visiting and exploring the streets and it instantly caught our attention. The staff was super friendly and felt welcomed . It was scary but funny at the same time , we really had a great time and all 6 of us recommend it for everyone who wants a scary experience. The actors were really good , talented and really good at improvising their acts , such amazing people.

We chose to do the horror tour as well as the 2-person escape room. I am a huge horror movie buff, but my partner isn't - both of us had an absolute blast!! The atmosphere was absolutely excellent - great sets, well-designed challenges and the actors were just superb. Their characters were unique and distinct, with great costume and makeup. We were very impressed by their ability to improvise in English, as well as use different accents. The "gimp" was particularly terrifying! The tour was great fun, and the escape 'room' was genuinely scary - definitely not for claustrophobes! I am pretty desensitised to horror and not easy to scare, but I sprinted out of that place like my life depended on it!! 10/10, could not have hoped for a better experience.

Very nice place, decorated with a horror theme and the guy at the reception very kind. We did the interactive experience (which is in English) and the actors were outstanding.

This is a great for adults in Budapest. With live actors, lights and sounds, this is truly an interactive experience. I don't scare easily, but I must say that my heart was thumping ! With humour and frights you will enjoy yourself. Not expensive and well organised, easy to book by phone or email.

I can’t believe it took me so long to write this review but honestly this was one of the best things to do in Budapest!!! Such great value for money and the man at the reception was the sweetest man ever! So kind and helpful!! The actual experience was definitely frightening- such a great experience!! If you do anything in Budapest do this!!! It 1000% made our trip! We had a group of 6 girls and we were all screaming, it took us a whole hour just to get out loool! They were kind enough to send us some videos of us in there aswell ( as you can’t take your phones in to film) which were hilarious!! Service was just 10/10 !! Experience 10/10!!

Was brilliant the actors was great and kept character was very touchy but aslong as you go to have a good time it's what youl get. was a brilliant way to kill an hour for not a big price and would of recommended 100% after finishing after we found out there was a few videos which was emailed to me for FREE which made it even better it's a no brainer but to go and be scared to death and laugh with friends and family
