We did our research and found the reviews of this tour group to be excellent. Jim, our tour guide was a wonderful . He will energetic, highly informative, and his love and appreciation of NYC clearly showed. We learned so much from him about NYC, things both my wife and I (who have been here many times) did not know. Definitely well worth the money. Thank you Jim for a memoral tour!

What can I say? Our tour guide Tom was just the BEST! Intelligent, knowledgeable, engaging, respectful of all tour members (some with limited physical ability), and seriously FUNNY! You have to do this tour. Just the right amount of time to get a fabulous overview of the city, and with the bus picking you up to take you to the furthest points, it was perfectly calibrated. Thoroughly recommend this tour, and especially doing it with Tom if you can.

Dan was a great tour guide! He took us to so many interesting spots and had wonderful knowledge to share. I would highly recommend this tour, just make sure you really are able to walk 5 miles.

Our tour guide Jim was very personable, easy to talk to and ask questions of, and very knowledgable. As a wheelchair user I found this tour perfect - Jim was able to show us so many wonderful buildings that we would never have noticed and adapted the tour to account for all the wheelchair ramps and entrances to buildings/ferry/subway that I needed. I did not feel once that being in a wheelchair on the tour was an inconvenience and will be recommending this tour and company to many Wheelchair user friends who were asking about my NY experience. It was a long day but oh so worth it! Thank you Experience First, and thank you Jim!

A fabulous tour! Jim was our guide and he had so much knowledge to impart! I am a wheelchair user and confirmed with Experience First that this tour was wheelchair accessible. Although Jim wasn’t made aware in advance I was in a wheelchair it didn’t phase him and he made sure wherever we went we used the wheelchair entrances. We saw everything we wanted to see, had a great lunch of pizza, and all in all, a fantastic day! Thank you Jim, you were the perfect tour guide!

Highly recommended!! John Bow was informative and fun. He engaged with all of us individually in an age appropriate manner, kept the group on time and focused on what our tour was about. Very knowledgeable and fun. Be ready to walk quickly but plenty of stops to take in the sites.

It was our first trip to NYC and the tour was great. What made it perfect was our guide, John Bow. He was so good to answer any question, make recommendations, and even taught us how to use the subway. He brought his obvious passion for the city into his tour in addition to a deep knowledge of both its history and contemporary ongoings.

My daughter and I came on BAM bus tour out of KY and with it just being the two of us I wanted to book us a tour. I am so glad I found the 6 hour walking tour led by Jenn Andres she was truly AMAZING. We seen everything on our list and at the end Jenn walked us back to the subway and helped us get to where we needed to go. The tour itself was WORTH it. I highly recommend!

This is the best way to see the City! It made us more comfortable knowing we were wondering around the city with someone who knew what they were doing. Cale was an awesome guide. He was knowledgeable and funny. We highly recommend this tour.

The best way to learn about the real New York - is from a real New Yorker. Our guide Jim Waller not only had an excellent knowledge of the historical sites, he also showed us the more unique places that you’d never see from the top of a bus. Jim has a wonderful sense of humour & was very patient while I took hundreds of photos. Our group was 8 people ranging from mid-30s to late 60’s (me). He gave us very good tips on what else to see & how to use the subway, which was invaluable over the rest of our stay. There were so many highlights, I loved the city views from the Staten Island ferry & St Patrick’s Cathedral. Be prepared for a lot of walking, fine if you have average fitness, and Jim makes sure no-one is left behind. We were with Jim for 6hrs (incl a delicious authentic Italian pizza lunch) & the time flew by. Thanks Jim xx

We felt like we understood a bit more about the story of New York, and got to see some amazing views with a great soundtrack to match them.

This was a great way to see many of the sights on foot in a fun and informational way. Mindy was fantastic in her presentation of the historical places and the stories behind many of the things we saw. We had our kids with us, ages 11, 14, and 15, and the walking was manageable.

Cale was an amazing tour guide. We had one day to soak up NYC and I feel like we put a big dent in hitting the highlights.

This was a terrific way to learn about and see NY. It involves a great deal of walking so be prepared and have good shoes on! Our guide Jim was very knowledgeable and you could tell he loves this city. He was able to give us so many small details that you would never see on your own. Jim also planned water, washroom, and lunch breaks along the way. It does involve stairs, a subway, and a boat. In places uneven pavement so I would not recommend this tour if you have small children, strollers, or mobility issues.

We had a small group which was great for moving around. Our guide Jim was so knowledgeable and you could tell he really loved doing this. He pointed out all kinds of little quirky things you would never see on your own. At the end he even emailed us some group pics and also some great photos of the places we’d visited. Please remember this is a walking tour. A lot of walking so come prepared. Jim kept a good pace but also made sure we had stops for water, washroom and lunch. I would not recommend this tour for small children or if you need a stroller as it involved stairs, subway, boat and some uneven walking surfaces. Fantastic Tour and a great way to see the real NY!

This was an awesome tour for two reasons: Chris Lee, our guide, really knew NYC; there were only eight people on the tour. We had limited time in NYC, but wanted to see the highlights. This tour delivered. The 911 Memorial was very moving. The Staten Island ferry trip took us really close to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Our walk through Central Park introduced to a busker singing John Lennon songs in view of John and Yoko's apartment and the site of John's murder. Chris had great insights to most everything we saw.
