We picked the speed boat and the pick up. It was one of the best experience, u can even have alcohol on the boat. We had so much fun , definitely worth the money and will do it again. For the pick up location, u have to pay attention the pick up bus description, it’s gonna be multiple different tour companies stop by. Highly recommend spending little bit more money for this extra service. You never know if any Lyft or Uber drivers willing to take you there.

It was a nice tour, I really couldn’t hear the guide a lot because he wasn’t speaking loud enough for the whole group but we did see a lot of alligators.

A 40 minute journey outside of New Orleans brings you to the swamp. Our tour guide Ramone was extremely knowledgeable and was very interesting explaining the environment and especially the alligators. Well worth the experience. However our boat broke down twice which was such a shame.

Booked to go unfortunately our transport was delayed getting to our hotel that day and even though I tried contacting tour operator numerous times on various platforms that day to reschedule they didn’t respond . NO CUSTOMER SERVICE at all . Money down the drain .

Nice boat ride. Not happy that they said Uber could not get us there & we had to pay $30 a person extra for transportation. Also , 2 boats broke down & we had to wait 30 minutes for the people to get back on our bus

The guide was wonderful. Made sure we saw and interacted with some gators. May is a great time to go and see them, end of mating season. Great airboat ride with lots of gators!

This is the worst company for customer satisfaction. We paid for small group on small boat and had a not very nice person for a captain who happened to cut our tour 45 minutes short. He also made derogatory comments about New Yorkers. He also had the nerve to ask for tips before we even put our feet on dry ground. I do not recommend this company. They won’t even address or answer any emails or phone calls. Not worth the money we paid.

Had a terrible experience because of the boat caption. We were a party of 3 friends of asian-indian descent. We entered the boat in the order we came. There were 2 white couples ahead of us who took the front seats. Next, we took the second row (with room to spare). Behind us, there was an african-american family. As more people entered, the captain decided to re-arrange us, taking a page from the segregation era playbook. He told us and the african american family to go to the last row of the boat so he could seat the white passengers in the front and middle of the boat. No explanation was offered as to why that was ok. Now the last row became the most crowded row. So he said one of us (our party of 3 friends) could sit in the row immediately ahead. We objected, after all we had as much right to sit together with our party as others on the boat did. Then he opened his mouth and said "you guys must love each other too much". The manner and tone in which he said this implied homosexuality (the prejudice became clear in that moment). After that, no words were exchanged between us and Mr. small-minded captain (pic attached). We endured the ride, and luckily some of the others on the boat were extra nice to us, after all everybody could see through Mr. small-minded's prejudice. But I cannot recommend a business that places such prejudiced people in customer-facing roles. Watch out airboat adventures, there is a legal liability waiting to occur with this guy at the helm of the boat.

The pickup and transport to the airboats was smooth and easy. When we arrived, we were informed that we were not permitted to participate in the experience we had booked and paid for because my partner was wearing a neck brace. We explained that this was not related to an injury and rather provided stabilization to prevent injury, and offered to sign a liability waiver and/or remove the brace during the experience, and still were denied wristbands for the airboats. The failure of the staff to differentiate between disability and injury was disappointing. The person working check in felt she was more of an expert about my partner's disability than my partner is. This business violated the ADA seeing as wearing a brace is a reasonable accommodation that would not fundamentally alter the service being provided. We ended up doing the pontoon boat tour because that was our only option after being dropped off 45 minutes away from our hotel. I wouldn't recommend this business for disabled individuals who use braces or mobility aids.

We booked a large airboat ride and were really looking forward to it. We were a party of 3 friends, of asian-indian decent. We started entering the boat in the order that we arrived. 2 white couples took the front rows. We were next so we took the second row (and there was space left to accommodate others in that row). Behind us there was another african-american family. As more people arrived, the captain decided to rearrange the passengers, taking a page out of the segregation era playbook. He told us, the brown guys, and the african-american family to go take the last row, as he accommodated all the white passengers up in the front and middle of the boat. No explanation was given as to why we all were chosen to be at the back of the boat (all the white passengers who came in last were given seats in the front and middle). The last row became crowded, so he said one of us (3 amigos) can sit up in the row just ahead. We objected .. after all we were a party of 3 who also deserved to sit together like the other parties. Then he opened his mouth and said "you must love each other too much"... the manner and tone he used clearly hinted he was implying homosexuality. Anyways, we endured the tour, and the others on the boat were especially nice, after all everybody saw through his prejudice. But not a word was exchanged between us and Mr. Small-minded captain after that (pic attached). How can a business hire such horrible people to be in customer-facing roles. This man is a legal liability waiting to happen for Airboat Adventures...beware.

Awesome guides, very interesting sites to see, and great close up encounters with the wildlife of the Louisiana Bayou. If you’ve never experienced anything like this before, it’s 10/10 definitely worth doing!

Jay was a great tour guide! He was very knowledgeable and had an upbeat attitude. He knew a tremendous amount of info about alligators.

Everything about this tour exceeded expectations. My parents and I went for Mother's Day (2024) and had the best morning of our lives. I'm not even kidding! We went on the 9:45am tour on a Saturday and drove in our rental car which was about a 30 minute drive (we arrived 15 minutes early and were still able to be the first in line). There is also a pick-up option but we heard that took MUCH longer than self-driving so we decided not to go with that. Captain Monkey was a FANTASTIC tour guide -- he was knowledgable, hilarious, personable and friendly. We saw about 20 alligators -- 5 of which we saw at the same time in the same area, and all of which came directly to our boat. It was nothing short of awesome and got us on an adrenaline high all afternoon. Being on the swamp in the morning was peaceful and the weather was great (but don't forget to bring an ice water with you because it's humid). The airboat ride (we were on a large airboat) was thrilling and the gift shop was fun too; they have an albino gator that lived in the gift shop for the past 16 years which I initially found upsetting until the employees explained to me that the gator, Sugar, would be killed immediately in the wild. My dad wished that we booked a small airboat instead of the large, but I thought the large boat was perfect -- it sat about 20 passengers and was still small enough to move through tight places in the swamp. My only complaint at the end of the day was that the tour wasn't hours longer... I never wanted it to end. I love the movie "Jurassic Park" and kept thinking the entire excursion that the tour was as close as you could possibly get to being in that movie other than being murdered by dinos... After all, gators are technically dinosaurs. This tour was surely a core memory with my parents that none of us will ever forget. I will likely be back many times in my life. An absolute perfect experience.
