Great time touring with Demitri. Loved all the sites and places we went on Naxos. The pottery, olive oil, bakery as well as all the beautiful towns and people we met.

Our tour guide was not very knowledgeable or personable. Much of the time he was silent, he didn't teach us much history or about the people or geography of Naxos. He didn't make it fun. Wish we had gone with another company as it wasn't worth the money.

Our half-day tour of Naxos was exceptional! We would recommend this tour to anyone who is looking to experience the rich history of Naxos, from how olive oils were made to visiting some great historical sites.

Once again, this “tour” was average. We did another one on a different green island and had a similar experience. The driver hardly spoke unless spoken to, and I felt it was more like a glorified taxi ride. I wouldn’t do it again.

We were recently in Naxos and did a half day tour of the island. We were delighted with the experience. Our guide/ driver was prompt, efficient, very friendly and informative. He actually also worked in a restaurant which we dined in that night and he saved a prime table for us. It was a great experience. The small mountain towns we visited were amazing and our guide was first class.

Sites seen were ok but the guide had limited English and was dismissive of our questions. The price was high for what was basically a taxi service.

The car and what we saw was fine but sadly the guide’s English was stilted and he was dismissive of many of our questions. Also for what it was it was very expensive. You may as well just book a local taxi for much cheaper.

Kostas was very knowledgeable about Naxos having grown up there and continuing to work and care for his family’s farm. A private tour is as much about your interaction and learning the driver/guide’s life as it is about the sights/villages. Kostas was delightful to spend 4 hrs with. It was just the right amount of his telling us about Naxos and letting us ask questions. He of course knew many of the artisans where we visited. We loved learning about the picking of olives to extracting olive oil process which Kostas knows so well because he has olive trees on his farm. Maybe he didn’t want me to say this but he allowed us to visit his farm and see his paintings and taste his grapes which was a memorable treat.

Our guide Kostos was delightful. Great tour up into the mountain villages. Visited very old olive oil press, pottery shop, distillery, town paved with marble, and much more. He really brought Naxos hot life for us. Highly recommend

Glad we didn’t have to drive! Enjoyable to have a driver instead. Could have customized where we went but stuck to recommended areas: temple, pottery store, distillery, olive museum.

We did this half day tour the day after we arrived in Naxos. My husband and I had some ideas of what we wanted to see and Vasilis helped us flesh them out. We visited a church, the temple of Demeter, a potter’s studio, walked around the pretty town of Chalki, and visited the Eggares Olive press. The van was comfortable and we didn’t feel rushed. I’m glad we spent the day this way- we wouldn’t have done all of this by bus or car.

Great tour of the island! Kostas was a terrific guide and took us to all the out of the way spots! He really knew the history and shared his own personal experiences as well!

What a wonderful experience! Costas was very accommodating and knowledgeable about Naxos. He went above and beyond, taking us to additional places we wanted to see, showing us the viewpoints of the islands, and the major towns. He even took pictures of the group that looked professional. I would highly recommend this tour and would gladly contact him again the next time we visit!

Great tour!! Our tour guide Kostas was very knowledgeable and accommodating. He showed us hidden gems and what we requested to see. He brought us to little shops where we met owners and had a private tour of their product and to the archeological sights we didn’t know existed. He even offered us his homemade wine! We experienced so much and had a wonderful time. I highly recommend his tour.

Naxos Luxury Tours was outstanding to work with! Specifically, we hired Petros for a private half-day tour and for multiple rides from our AirBnB in Stelida to Naxos Town and back -- about a 10-min drive each way. Petros is a lovely man who speaks very good English; he is very dependable and punctual, often arriving early. Seems to drive the nicest car on the island (a Mercedes sedan), and it is spotless, too. No time of day is out of the question for him; he or one of his brothers will be there for you, even if you return from Paros on the midnight ferry, as we did. For our half-day private tour, he ended up giving us 6 hours instead of 4, and his price was very fair. We told him we had heard Naxos was famous for its pottery, so in addition to taking us to some historical sites, to the marble area, and to a few different towns, he took us to see the work of Manolis Lybert, a 4th-generation Naxian potter -- which was a highlight of the tour. It also seems he knows everyone on the island. One day, I left a pair of sandals on a sailboat. When I realized it the next day, I asked for his help. Turned out he not only knew the boat captain but also the boat owner. So he called both and within a few hours, I had my sandals in hand. On our last day, we had to check out of our Air BnB by 11 a.m. but our ferry wasn't leaving until 5 p.m.. So he stored our luggage at his family's place of business while we roamed around Naxos Town; then he met us at the ferry w/ our luggage. People had told us we should rent a car on our own, and there were several places in w/in walking distance in Stelida where we could have done that. However, reading the signs is an issue there, and who wants to worry about navigation when on vacation? This was a much better option for us, and we'd encourage you to do the same. Thank you, Petros!
