I wasn't quite sure what to expect. However, this was simply an amazing experience. If you have any sense of humor at all (and are at least 15 or so), I really believe you will have a great time. My wife and I spent nearly five hours here and I loved every minute of it. There were so many different types of comedy that it was easy to have a great time. Not every comic (or type of comedy) was amazing but there was so much here, it was easy to have a great time.

This place is great. Numerous hands on activities. Tons of clips from comedians. Love the way they explain how comedy works. Also a section on cartoons. You can spend the whole day here.

I visited the National Comedy Center with family and was surprised and excited by the fun and interactive experience. Some of the most fun I've had at a museum. While I would love to give a 5 star review, I had to remove a star for my after visit experience. I was led to believe I would receive an after visit email detailing my visit and after emailing the center, I received an email telling me the summary was sent and I opened it (the email was not sent, no one in my party of 6 received an email). Upon further follow up via phone and email, our request for the summary of our visit fell on deaf ears and I still sit here today weeks after my visit, disappointed without an after visit summary. Disappointed with the lack of responsiveness post visit.

Well worth the price of admission. Lots of great displays, videos, memorabilia. You could easily spend the entire day looking at all the stuff.

I great place to spend an afternoon. They have lots and lots to see. Movies, costumes, lots of memorabilia. I have a hard time walking and there were lots of places to sit and rest along the way. You have to check out the 1st bench after the cross over! It was nice to sit and laugh and see faces of comedians we hadn't seen in a long time. Don't forget to create your profile when you go it. Lots of surprises follow.

We did not spend enough there but the time we did spend was great. Loved all the interactive displays! Wall of funny faces, the acting booths, everything was great. Could have spent all day there.

The most interactive and personalized experience that I have had at a museum. The staff was super helpful and friendly. My family and I spend almost the whole day enjoying all the exhibits. Good for families and for adults. Don't miss the blue room for the raunchy comedy. They even email you a detailed summary of the visit

It may be that my expectations were too high but it was a bit of a letdown. First the good: the Carson and Laugh In movies were great. The Carlin exhibit was a bit underwhelming, I was hoping for more, but it was good, as was the Carl Reiner exhibit. The whole customization/interactive bracelet when you enter I took as kind of a marketing gimmick and I want to see what the outcome actually is. I would have liked to have seen some newer comics work… I saw one clip of Whitney Cummings, one of Chapelle, and almost no Taylor Tomlinson or Gabriel Iglesias, a bit odd considering they were just there a few weeks ago (I did get a picture of Fluffy’s shirt tho) . The Blue Room was kind of a waste, despite Carlin’s scroll as you enter. The whole interactive part at the end would be fun if you were part of a group, but as a couple it’s kind of a quick pass. I wouldn’t miss it, but keep your expectations in check.

This is so fun and many interactive displays. History of comedy for over 100 years. Really enjoyed the experience. Buy the combined ticket with Lucy/Desi Museum - it is worth doing both!

Museum is interactive with your admission wristband. All different comedy forms displayed here including movies, TV, cartoons and stand up comedy. There are various areas where you can watch clips. In the basement is the Blue Room for comedy of a more mature and expletive nature. This is a couple of blocks from the Lucille Ball Museum and you can visit both museums for a reduced price. Highly recommend this unique well done museum.

Really fun time. They make it interactive which was pretty neat. Lots of history of comedy. Need to update to some of the current comedians but was fun to see some of the memorabilia attached to some of the comedians from the past.

Worth a trip to laugh and enjoy for hours spent at the Comedy Center. We were a group of friends each with different selection of comedy yet had a blast. We spent over 31/2 hours there enjoying the exhibits, participating in activities, and watching clips of shows. We learned to draw thanks to the Marmaduke area. The blue room can be a shock for some tucked into the basement. We saved the Johnny Carson show for the middle of our visit to sit and relax. You can grab a drink at any time during your visit. It's a great place if you like comedy and like to laugh!!! Thanks to Lucille Ball it's located in her hometown area.

This place was so much fun. We could have spent a full day here. We started at the Lucy Museum that was fun too. Lots of interactive options. Will also play things based on the audience likes. Want to go again.

This is an amazing place! We bought the 2 day ticket in combination with the Lucy and Desi Museum. We spent 5 hours at the comedy museum and could have spent longer! It is very interactive which makes it a lot of fun. There are tons of exhibits and tons of places to watch documenaries and clips. There is also a newer Johnny Carson presentation with a holographic Jimmy Fallon which was very cool! We highly recommend this experience!

Electronics didn't work for me and I was half way through, exhausted from walking so much of Jamestown, before I even realized that my ticket didn't unlock the exhibits because I hadn't finished the electronics at the kiosk. I was too exhausted to return to the lobby or to care! My brother had a great time on this his second visit.
