Roy gave us a fantastic tour. We saw all the main attractions and easily used trains to get around. He took us to a local restaurant for a delicious lunch of Udon noodles.

Nazomi was helpful and attentive. She made us feel at home and was very considerate. We learned a lot. She got us around via subway, which was very efficient She tookpictures of us which she later shared. She took us to lunch and highlighted typical local dishes. Nazomi enjoyed being a guide and was a pleasure to be with. In sum, Nazomi is a wonderful guide.

Roy gave us a fantastic tour of Nagoya. His English is excellent, he's very friendly, and he taught us a lot about Japanese Shogun history. We used the subway, purchasing day passes, so the walking wasn't too strenous. We visited Atsutu Shrine and Nagoya Castle, then visited the Osu Kannon Temple and toured the shopping district. We had a delicious lunch of Udon Noodles. I highly recommend Roy and this tour.

We booked this tour as we wanted to know more about Samurai culture and history. Tomoko met us at the cruise terminal, I had worried about the transport as we used just public transport, but everything worked really well. Unfortunately our time in Nagoya was shortened as the cruise ship changed it’s itinerary so we couldn’t see everything, but we really felt we had seen and learnt a lot during our tour.

Sammy was our tour guide and she did a great job. We used the railway for our transportation - visited the Nagoya Castle and the Railway museum. The museum is one not to be missed. At the end of our tour we visited the aquarium right at the port. Sammy very capably showed us around and was certainly very knowledgeable. Our group had a very enjoyable day.

What a fantastic guide! We had a great day with Mieko. She met us at the cruise ship and we took the subway and train to Inuyama Castle. Along the way we stopped for coffee and traditional rice sweets at local shops. She took us to a Temple with a beautiful Sakura (cherry) tree in bloom. We had the place all to ourselves. She was very knowledge, fun and spoke English very well. We highly recommend her.

We had an amazing tour experience with Matt! He was very knowledgeable and gave many interesting and informative details during our visit to Inuyama Castle, Atsuta Jingu Shrine, and Nagoya Castle. Lunch at the little eatery he chose was very delicious!

My son and I visited Atsuta Shrine, Tokugawa Art Museum, Nagoya Castle and the Toyota Commemorative Museum based on an itinerary planned by Matt. We had a wonderful day and learnt lots thanks to our ever knowledgeable and friendly (and patient) tour guide, Matt San! Taking public transportation also helped us experience the city even more. Matt was amazing. He knew exactly when to give us details of our visit, and when to let us learn and discover on our own. He helped with managing our luggage in the coin lockers and made sure we hit the train at the right time too. He was precise with timings and made sure we were happy. Amazing day!

I had an amazing day in Nagoya with my guide Matt. He was very professional and knowledgeable. We worked out the itinerary of what I wanted to see before hand, and he even located a vegetarian/vegan restaurant to eat lunch at. It was a packed and busy day, visiting the castle, the shrine, and finally an art museum and garden. Everything fitting together really nicely to tell the story of the history of the region and the powerful family that ruled there for centuries. We took subways and busses, and I had told him of my plan to do some touring on my own the next day, but that I was intimidated to take buses on my own in Japan, and he thoughtfully explained to me which bus I should take and showed me where I could catch it and which stop to get off. I ended up having a great day on my own because of my experience with him and the confidence he gave me! Overall, it was such a great experience, I highly recommend!

We spent a wonderful and informative day touring Nagoya with Enamato Matt. He provided an itinerary based upon our interests and his suggestions of must see sights. We used the subway and bus to visit the Atsuta-Jingu shrine, Nagoya Castle and the Tokugawa Museum.

We really enjoyed our guide "Mat" Masatake, who was efficient, knowledgable and fun to be with. We had to make a plan adjustment and all went smoothly, with the day enhanced.

Re-submitting since my original post was deleted -- Visited Nagoya Castle and the town of Arimatsu (traditional and modern tye-dying craftswomen, town float keepers, local shrine). Mie was very knowledgeable, providing a thorough background of the respective histories at both locations and was passionate about providing glimpses into the day-to-day lives of those who live and breathe their craftwork. She was such a pleasure to spend time with and it was a perfect sightseeing and educational day. Would highly recommend.
